What if sound could help us better understand the relationship between our emotions, nervous system, and the energetic patterns we carry?

In this episode of Rooted & Wild, I’m joined by Jessica Maria Garcia, Advanced Biofield Tuning Practitioner, Associate Counselor, sound healer, Kundalini meditation teacher, and Emotional Empowerment Guide, for an introduction to Biofield Tuning and the ideas behind this sound-based wellness practice.

Biofield Tuning works with the concept of the biofield, the field of energy and information believed to surround and permeate the human body. Using tuning forks and sound, practitioners listen for and interact with areas of perceived dissonance within that field, with the intention of supporting greater coherence and wellbeing.

Jessica walks us through the foundations: What exactly is a biofield? What is a practitioner listening for? Why tuning forks? What might someone experience during a session? And how does Jessica understand the relationship between sound, stored emotional patterns, and the nervous system?

We also explore the broader role sound can play in our internal experience. Jessica brings more than a decade of experience in emotional and energetic wellness to the conversation, integrating sound-based practices with meditation, counseling, and biofield awareness.

Rather than requiring you to already understand or believe in energy work, this episode offers an opportunity to get curious about the practice itself and the framework through which practitioners understand it.

Because sound is something we don't only hear.

We experience it through the body.

In this episode, we explore:

• What Biofield Tuning is and where the practice comes from
• What practitioners mean by the human “biofield”
• How tuning forks are used during a session
• Sound, vibration, and resonance
