Have you ever had the experience where you were so certain you knew how something was? How you maybe thought you knew how something worked, then something changed. Something changed either inside you or in your environment, and all of a sudden the confidence that you thought you had is completely gone. And you're in a place of not knowing. This is exactly what happened to me at age 31, where I was supposedly in the prime of my life, and suddenly I found myself lying on my couch, unable to do anything, feeling like the best days were gone, and I was dying. My life force felt like it was being zapped out of me. What was I to do? I didn't know. A lot of the concrete things I understood about health and wellness, eating right, taking care of my body, all of a sudden didn't matter. But the one realization that helped turn my situation from a place of doom and gloom and no hope to a place of truly resurrecting myself into a new creation was understanding this one principle. So in this video, I want to lay out what I did that caused me to instantly shift who I was, how I was perceiving myself, that led to profound healing, which I want for you as well. So sometimes in our deepest, greatest suffering, we are able to realize certain things about our nature that we just couldn't possibly grok or perceive because we were already distracted by our everyday responsibilities or just living life. But it's only until we don't have something, we don't have our health, we don't have our wellness and our peace of mind, that we really start to ask the right questions to get put on a path of deeper understanding. And that's what happened to me. So as I stated, I thought I knew a lot about health and wellness, taking care of the body. But what I neglected to understand is that this body is more than just food being consumed and digested, more than just movement outside externally, or getting light from the sun or magnetism from and grounding from the earth. What I neglected is that I am an electromagnetic being. Yes, by maybe my outside, whether it's sunny or rainy, but more importantly, it's being determined by how I think and how I feel. That was not truly present to what here, the blessings that were here for him, and was in a sense anticipating the next moment with anxiety, with some fear of what's to come. Now you might be sitting there listening to this and saying, Yeah, that all sounds easy and great, but how are you gonna help me get out of pain? How are you gonna help me get out of chronic illness by just thinking positive? It's not just thinking positive, it's positioning your mind into purposefully positive states of being. What I found myself doing in the present moment was actually not being present, but was actually worrying and feeling a lot of anxiety about either what I didn't do or was I worthy for what I'm experiencing, or as I said, maybe feeling anxious about what's to come. That is a great recipe for you not truly being here, not truly embodying what this body has to give you. And so when I finally understood that I was not here in my body, I was outside my body, I was worrying about something I had no control over, and then I was projecting myself into a future, trying to control that. It was only when I reeled myself in through some of the teachings that helped me tremendously that I want to share with you. This actually, uh, as I was doing it, I wasn't aware, but now through my study and understanding, I understand there's many ways this has been presented, but I really like where this comes from the traditional Hawaiian Huna practice. And that is to bless the present. Oftentimes, what especially when we're sick and we're in pain, is we forget it's like our focus is looking at all that is bad. It can only focus on things getting worse and not seeing what is actually good here. And I refer to this sometimes the spirit of goodness. It's like you have to spend time with that every day, you have to cultivate that every day. You have to purposefully intend to think that and then to speak that and then to feel it in your heart to feel blessed, to say thank you. One of my teachers used to say, smile and feel blessed. What if you allowed yourself just in this moment to feel the blessings that are here for you? And then as you give space and breath and presence to that, you begin the process of magnifying that more into your electromagnetic field that you are. And here's the cool thing: as you do this more and more, you start to feel it more, you start to expand it more, and your body starts to get this message. So where it was in a state of worry and anxiety, expecting always the worst, now it's feeling blessed. Now it's remembering I'm okay in this moment. In fact, I'm not only just okay, I feel grateful to be here, to be alive, to be experiencing this wonderful uh opportunity of life that's here with me, even if I have pain or symptoms. This can be, I know, a challenge. And I'm not saying it's gonna happen all the time, but my suggestion as I did this for myself is anytime I found myself falling down into that crummy state of being where I was speaking negative words, where I was thinking negative thoughts, is to uplift myself, is to remember this. To remember to bless this moment, to feel the spirit of goodness in this moment. And if you can do that, instantly you can start to change the state of being of your body and how it's functioning. Now, no doctor is gonna say this to you, and of course, this isn't medical information, this is just my experience and how I've been able to heal myself and have truthfully helped coach many, many people on their healing journey just by starting to empower these simple behaviors of how they think, how they feel throughout their day. Developing these simple habits. Instead of always thinking about the worst, expect the best in your day. What would it be like to explore that possibility of expecting the best? I know at my 31-year-old self, I was always expecting the worst. I was expecting the worst to happen. You know, it's like driving a car, and uh, oh, we're not gonna get a parking space at this time of day, right? I was always speaking that kind of negative, pessimistic. Instead, let's see, let's be in a place of curiosity and wonder. And hey, maybe we'll expect the best. Maybe that parking spot will be right in the perfect place. Maybe when I get there to that appointment, the the best thing could possibly happen to me, right? This is how you start to change yourself. And I guarantee if you're suffering with some type of pain, physically, emotionally, maybe even spiritually, you've been suffering with some kind of chronic debilitating illness, I guaranteed you need to examine this part of your nature. And the more you can bless your moments with gratitude, you change. You change your state of being. And you don't have to trust me, just do a little bit of research here on YouTube or anywhere about the healing power of gratitude. I spent years reading testimonials of people that were terminally ill, that were on the deathbed. And one of the consistent things I saw time and time again was people were changing their minds, up leveling their minds with a state of gratitude. And so when you can do that by blessing this moment, okay, so maybe you're in pain. Focus on what is good, focus on what is good here now for you. Maybe it's like remembering, wow, I have all these people supporting me. Or wow, maybe I have this wonderful bed that I get to sleep on every night or every day, or this food I have. Blessing this present moment is so profound and will change you and eventually change how your body functions. And I've said this time and time again, it's very hard because when you're in pain, you're in a contracted state of being. The nervous system is contracted, the tissues are contracted, the function of the cells are not uh optimal. But once you change your state of being to more of that positive gratitude oriented towards this best nature that you are, also let me remind you once you do that, it is very, very hard for your body to sustain that contraction for long periods of time because you are raising the frequency, you are raising the energy inside you, and guess what? That changes tissue, that changes cells, and you'll see. Give it a try. I recommend uh letting me know in the comments. I know a lot of you tell me how uh you know difficult things are, but I would love to hear people that are trying this out. How is this changing you? Have you applied it in your day? I want to know in the comments. So keeping this mindset is key, and you might have to listen to this several times to integrate it, to digest it, to really grok this into your state of being.
