Episode 24 - How it all began... from small town Germany to Montreal.. Part 1
In this episode, I’m sharing the first part of my story — the part that quietly shaped everything that came after.
I grew up in a tiny town in Germany, learned independence early, and navigated childhood with divorced parents and a mother living with severe mental illness. That path led me into a career in shipping, out of Germany, and eventually to the USA, Chile and... eventually ... Canada.
This episode isn’t about fitness or nutrition. It’s about resilience, belonging, and how life slowly prepares you for the chapters you don’t see coming — including meeting the person who would later become my husband.
This is the beginning of my story, and the first of a no-idea-how-many-parts series.
