Chad Robinson is the founder of Building Performance Co. and a nationally certified radon mitigation and measurement specialist. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering and years of experience in construction design, Chad has installed thousands of mitigation systems and is also a Certified HERS Rater. He serves as the Lead Radon Mitigation Trainer at Kansas State University’s Regional Radon Training Center. Chad is a past VP and board member of the Indoor Environments Association, a member of the NRPP Certification Council, and serves on several national radon standards committees.

Jane Malone, who joined IEA as National Policy Director in 2015, leads efforts to advance policy change at the federal, state and local levels, support IEA chapters’ government affairs work, strengthen related codes, standards, and regulations, prompt Congressional and federal agency action, and build the evidence base for effective risk reduction. She has been involved with healthy homes policy advocacy for more than two decades, advising Congress, federal agencies, advocates, and jurisdictions. Previously, she led efforts responding to ineffective public education and homelessness. 

Joshua Kerber is an Environmental Research Scientist with the Minnesota Department of Health. With over two decades in radon and indoor air quality, and a background in atmospheric science and home construction, Josh has led key initiatives including radon testing in schools, the Minnesota Radon Awareness Act, and the state’s licensing program. He supports contractors, builders, and code officials with guidance and outreach. Nationally, he serves on several standards committees and chairs the CRCPD’s E-25 Committee on Radon. He also contributed to the IAEA’s international guidance on radon mitigation. 

Kyle is the CEO and co-founder of Protect Environmental, established in 2005, with projects completed in all 50 states and two U.S. territories. He brings extensive expertise in radon and vapor intrusion, having developed proprietary systems for measurement, mitigation, and long-term site stewardship across all building types. Kyle has been a leading force in shaping national radon policy and standards, currently serving on the EPA Radon Leadership Committee and the EPA Vapor Intrusion Science Advisory Committee. He chairs the ANSI/AARST Standards Management Council, which oversees development of national standards for radon and chemical vapor intrusion. A longtime leader in the Indoor Environments Association (IEA), Kyle is the immediate past president and continues to be deeply involved in its mission. In 2022, he was appointed by Governor Andy Beshear to the Kentucky Board of Radon Safety and elected to serve as its chair.

Zan Jones is the Vice President of Sales for Radonova, one of the world’s leading radon measurement laboratories. With decades of experience in environmental health and business development, she plays a key role in advancing radon awareness and supporting professionals across the industry. Zan is a well-known speaker, advocate, and collaborator who works closely with industry leaders, nonprofits, and policymakers to improve indoor air quality and public safety through accurate radon measurement and education.
