Diane Swecker

Diane Swecker is currently the Executive Director of the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (AARST), a position she assumed on January 3rd, 2023. 

Before joining AARST, she held the position of Director of the Utility Engineering and Surveying Institute (UESI) at the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). In this role, she oversaw the institute's operations, including business development, budgeting, financial management, and project coordination. 

She holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology. Swecker is described as an outdoors enthusiast and resides in Northern Virginia.

Daisy Rezende

Daisy Rezende is an environmental health professional, entrepreneur, and advocate with a passion for advancing conversations on radon, vapor intrusion, and indoor air quality. She is the co-owner of Smart Home Inspects and Smart Home Radon, offering radon testing, mold assessments, lead inspections, and IAQ services in Maryland.

Daisy serves as the President of the Maryland Chapter of the Indoor Environments Association (IEA) and sits on the Radon Mitigation Standards Consortium. As producer of The Indoor Environment Project, she curates content, coordinates guests, and manages production to deliver engaging, science-driven episodes.

Dedicated to education, advocacy, and healthier homes, she is committed to elevating industry standards and public awareness through every episode.

Myca Bruno

Myca Bruno, Managing Director of Indoor Air Quality at BBG Assessment, has 18+ years of experience with environmental consulting projects across the country, which includes radon, asbestos, and lead-based paint, as well as environmental site assessments, and has expertise in federal and state environmental regulatory requirements related to multi-family/ commercial due diligence. 


Myca serves as the President of the North Carolina Chapter of Indoor Environments Association (IEA), as well as Vice Chair of the Chapter Council. In addition, she is a member of the ANSI/AARST Radon Measurement Standards Consortium and the IEA Government Affairs Committee.

Chad Robinson

Chad Robinson is the founder of Building Performance Co. and a nationally certified radon mitigation and measurement specialist. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering and years of experience in construction design, Chad has installed thousands of mitigation systems and is also a Certified HERS Rater. He serves as the Lead Radon Mitigation Trainer at Kansas State University’s Regional Radon Training Center. Chad is a past VP and board member of the Indoor Environments Association, a member of the NRPP Certification Council, and serves on several national radon standards committees.

Joshua Kerber

Joshua Kerber is an Environmental Research Scientist with the Minnesota Department of Health. With over two decades in radon and indoor air quality, and a background in atmospheric science and home construction, Josh has led key initiatives including radon testing in schools, the Minnesota Radon Awareness Act, and the state’s licensing program. He supports contractors, builders, and code officials with guidance and outreach. Nationally, he serves on several standards committees and chairs the CRCPD’s E-25 Committee on Radon. He also contributed to the IAEA’s international guidance on radon mitigation.
