Etienne Rose Olivier

Etienne Rose Olivier came to writing circuitously while earning a Radio, TV, Film degree. Her major's emphasis was film production, but when impacted classes delayed her graduation, she changed her emphasis to screenwriting. She is so glad that she did.

It didn't take long for Etty to learn that screenplays didn't satisfy her writing urges, so she turned to novels. She attempted a few before hitting her stride with her memoir THANK YOU FOR LEAVING ME: A DIVORCED FORTY-SOMETHING’S BIZARRE, SOMETIMES HILARIOUS, AND OFTEN SEXUAL TWO-YEAR JOURNEY IN SEARCH OF LOVE, for which she currently seeks representation.

She won second place for her short story UNDER THE STARS at the 2011 South Carolina Writers Conference. In the February 2014 Short Story Award for New Writers, Glimmer Train awarded this story an Honorable Mention.

Etty lives in Charleston, South Carolina with her miniature schnauzer, Angus.

Heidi Willis

When Heidi was four, her single mom couldn’t afford a great daycare so Heidi and her sister got dropped off at The Lollypop Ranch each day. During naptime, the daycare workers would play old B&W horror movies (Dracula, The Mummy, etc) on a projector while the children tried to sleep. These are her earliest and fondest memories of film. We’ll never know what possessed those daycare workers to show horror movies to children, but two outcomes were likely for Heidi: become a psychopath OR a fan of all things horror. Luckily for her friends and family, Heidi became the latter. This love of horror branched into a love of writing horror and suspense, too. Many of her feature and short length scripts have been finalists or won in various competitions such as the Screencraft Fellowship, the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition, among others.
