The Man Identity is the podcast dedicated to calling up young men into purposeful manhood which is ultimately found in Jesus Christ and being the Man God created us to be. While much of our present world sets itself against them, our goal is not to merely point a finger at all the problems, but rather to build hope, clarity, and strength into young men today who are desperately searching for purpose.
Host, Pastor and Author, Steve Hinton, along with Co-Host Matthias Tinnin, Personal Trainer, Youtuber, and church volunteer, offer a clear voice of hope by facing tough issues head on, throwing down weekly challenges, and having some fun along the way.
Because solid manhood isn’t automatic, but a choice, we’re here to walk alongside you and encourage you to live out your authentic identity in being made in the image of God for a purpose larger than you’ve ever imagined possible before.

Dr. Rick Cherok completed a PhD in United States Religious History from the Kent State University. He has taught Restoration History, Christian History, and other areas of history at Cincinnati Christian University, Ozark Christian College, and Kentucky Christian University for over a quarter of a century and continues to teach at churches, conferences, and in online classes. In addition to contributing numerous essays and articles to a variety of publications, Dr. Cherok has published a book titled Debating for God: Alexander Campbell’s Challenge to Skepticism in Antebellum America. Dr. Cherok has served in editorial positions with the Stone-Campbell Journal, Discipliana, the College Press Publishing Company, and is currently the Managing Editor of the Christian Standard. As the founder and Executive Director of Celtic Christian Mission, an organization dedicated to evangelism in Ireland, Dr. Cherok has led hundreds of people on short-term mission trips to Ireland, and hundreds more on additional mission trips to other locations around the world. Dr. Cherok’s favorite pastimes include reading, writing, travel, and watching baseball.
