Leo joined Courtiers in 2016, having worked closely with the company for some years as a creative consultant and before that, a junior designer in the early 2000s.
With a clear understanding of the brand and over 20 years’ commercial experience in visual communication, Leo’s helped Courtiers develop over decades. Today he heads up the Marketing Team with a focus on delivering outstanding experiences for clients and colleagues alike.
Gary joined Courtiers in 1982 and is a main board director. His responsibility as Chief Investment Officer in the Courtiers Group Executive Committee is to monitor and respond to global markets by identifying investment opportunities and create, support and oversee a team of high achieving analysts and asset managers. Mathematical and tactical in his approach, Gary understands the importance of precision and the value in combining it with strategy to achieve our clients’ goals.
Gary is a CFA® Charterholder and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
After spending a decade in the city predominantly working in Emerging Markets Equities, Jake re-joined Courtiers in 2017, heading up the Asset Management Team, before moving to Asset Management Director as part of Courtiers Group Executive Committee. He adds his wealth of quantitative skills and experience to the business.
Jake is a CFA® Charterholder with a Certificate in Quantitative Finance and Certificate in ESG Investing.
James joined the Investment Team back in 2013 as a trainee analyst. Since then, James has completed the CFA programme, risen through the ranks and is now Head of Asset Management at Courtiers as well as a named manager of the Courtiers Multi-Asset Funds. As Fund Manager, he is responsible for overseeing the risk management within the funds, analysing various asset types and monitoring the exposure levels within the funds.
James is a CFA® Charterholder.
Kapil’s a Chartered Financial Planner and joined Courtiers in March 2019. In May 2023 he secured his Fellowship (FPFS) status, the highest designation awarded by the Personal Finance Society and a demonstration of commitment and continuing professional development in Financial Services. In September 2023, Kapil was promoted to Private Client Manager in the Witney office, and became Head of Private Clients in 2025.
Following the acquisition of Brunswick Investment Management in November 2023, Nigel joined the Courtiers Investment Team as a Fund Manager. Bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team, his responsibilities include the construction of the Courtiers fund portfolios.
