Dan Slattery is a relentless entrepreneur with a life story that defies the conventional path. Leaving school at 15 to begin a trade in sheet metal work, he later returned to night school, completed Year 12, and pursued a degree in Marine Science — a journey that led him to buy and operate a commercial fishing trawler.

Over the years, Dan has founded multiple businesses across tech, hospitality, and coffee — including one that failed spectacularly and another that thrives today: AIRJO Coffee Roasters, a 100% DTC specialty coffee brand. Along the way, he also earned a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence — before ChatGPT became a household name.
