LIFE Podcast with Dr. C
Is your personal infrastructure is broken? It may be time for an audit.
Welcome to the official home of The LIFE Podcast.
I am your host, Dr C™, an Organizational Change Doctor with over 25 years of experience diagnosing what makes complex systems fail—and how to make them thrive. I’ve learned that high-performing leaders often apply rigorous strategy to their businesses while letting their personal operating systems run on fumes.
This podcast is where we stop the "grind" and start the strategy.
Each week, we apply the principles of The LIFE Blueprint™ (Learn, Inspire, Flourish, Evolve) to all the dimensions of your well-being. From financial solvency and occupational boundaries to emotional intelligence and environmental design, we move beyond surface-level self-help to discuss systemic changes.
Whether it’s a solo deep-dive or a candid interview with an expert guest, our goal is simple: to help you move from chaos to clarity and design a life you don’t need a vacation from.

That emotional weight from day three, we have to look at the gatekeeper of our inner peace, our internal dialogue. Welcome back to the Life Podcast. I'm your host, Dr. C, and this is day four of our seven-day wellness pro tip series. Today we are flipping the script on self-criticism. I've seen firsthand how a harsh internal dialogue accelerates workplace burnout. High achievers are notorious for this by utilizing our core pillars of the life blueprint. Learn, inspire, flourish, and evolve. We dismantle the destructive habits that lead to burnout and build sustainable systems for high performance. Before we unpack how to stop being your own worst critic, if you are a high achiever tired of chronic burnout, subscribe to our YouTube channel at LifePodcast with Dr. C so you never miss our deep dive strategy episodes. Now, let's talk about the words you use with yourself. If your internal dialogue is harsher than anything you would ever say to a friend or a colleague, it's time to rewrite the script. We must close the gap between the grace, patience, and support we give to others and the critique and pressure we place on ourselves. To break this habit and stop this specific energy drain, you need a highly actionable system. Let's use a tangible strategy we practice called the notice and pivot protocol. When you make a mistake or run behind schedule today, I want you to pay close attention to your internal dialogue and apply these two steps. Step one, notice. Catch the harsh critique the moment it happens. Recognize that your inner critic is simply a reaction to stress, not a reflection of your actual executive capability. Step two, pivot. Stop the spiral and pivot to a fact-based statement. Try telling yourself, yes, this is a tough moment, but I have been through tougher and I can do this. Your action step today is to pay close attention to your internal dialogue and give yourself some radical grace. Let's rewrite the script. Type close the gap in the comments if you are committing to rewriting your script and building a daily practice of emotional harmony today. See you back here tomorrow for day five, the digital sunset ritual. Until next time, keep on learning, stay inspired, continue to flourish, and never stop evolving. I'm Dr. C, and this is the Life Podcast.
