Host Ronnie "Cuz" Strickland is many things: Mossy Oak legend, conservation advocate, and creator of the iconic Hunting the Country TV series.

From the Camo Cave, Cuz welcomes legendary hunters and everyday heroes for real conversations about deer hunting, wildlife conservation, land stewardship, faith, family, and life lessons learned in the field.

A Natchez, Mississippi native with 40+ years in the outdoor industry, Cuz helped shape how America experiences hunting on and off screen. His storytelling captures what hunters feel in their bones: early mornings in the blind, missed shots, hard-earned lessons, and a deep love for those hidden, wild places.

Bubba Bruce

A veteran Mossy Oak camp regular and close friend of Ronnie “Cuz” Strickland, Bubba Bruce is a turkey hunting icon in his own right. It’s not often that a hunting personality becomes popular by simply being a good person, but that’s “Just Bubba” highlighting the joys and experiences Bubba brings to both his hunting life and his personal life.

Charlie O'Brien

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1960, O’Brien caught for eight MLB teams from 1985 to 2000 and developed a reputation as an elite defensive catcher who worked with multiple Cy Young Award winners. After baseball, he established Catch 22 Ranch in northeast Oklahoma, building it into one of the premier whitetail deer operations in the country and hosting guided hunts there. A lifelong hunter, he has appeared on multiple national hunting shows, including Deer Thugs, and launched Charlie O’ Products to create and market gear for hunters, extending his influence into the broader outdoor and hunting community.
