James Kenning

James Kenning is an experienced bluewater sailor, photographer and writer, and owner of the Regina 43 ARKYLA, which he purchased through Berthon in 2018. A lifelong sailor and RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, James has taken ARKYLA from the Solent to the Mediterranean, through the Canaries and Cape Verde, across the Atlantic with ARC+ and into the Caribbean. His sailing photography and writing have earned numerous awards, including multiple Cruising Association and World Cruising Club honours, and his work has appeared in Yachting Monthly and Yachting World. His adventures aboard ARKYLA combine serious offshore sailing with photography, exploration and a refreshingly practical approach to preparing for life at sea.
