As Christians, how should we view challenges and our ability to overcome them? The victory is already yours. You're listening to Wholeheart Conversations, a podcast especially for women to receive biblical encouragement that fosters resilience through the practical application of God's word. I'm your host, Constance Lavonice. In earlier podcasts, I've talked about how we have a spiritual enemy. Jesus tells us that he, the enemy, also known as Satan and the devil, comes to steal, kill, and destroy. To steal our joy, peace, time through distractions, to kill, literally, to separate us eternally from God, but he doesn't have the power to do that. So he tries to get us to do it for him and to destroy relationships, self-confidence, anything that's good in your life, but Jesus. Jesus says, I came to give you life and to give you life more abundantly. When Jesus ascended to heaven, he left us his Holy Spirit, the person of Jesus Christ. The same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us. He equips us for every challenge. I want you to know that you are not alone. So if you're facing a challenge right now, know that you have the Holy Spirit within you. It will guide you, reveal truth to you, go before you and with you, and through his power will give you the victory. You're not inadequate, you don't have to fear, and as a matter of fact, you have the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, all the fruit of the Spirit within you. So when you're facing a challenge, know who you are and to whom you belong. You are the daughter of the Most High King. You belong to God the Father, the creator of heaven and earth and everything in it, which means you have bold and confident access to Him through the Holy Spirit that dwells within you. And be encouraged because He who is in you is greater than He who is in the world. So, my sisters, you already have the victory. Walk in it.
