Resilence: Knowing You Are Loved By God
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What if the hardest part of spiritual growth is not learning more, but finally believing one simple truth: God loves you? We talk about how the enemy’s schemes are designed to hinder, defeat, or destroy, and why the turning point is remembering who we are in Christ. When we put on the full armor of God, we are not chasing victory, we’re standing in it. That shift in identity is where Christian resilience starts.
We also get honest about why receiving God’s love can feel complicated. If you can picture God loving everyone else but you, or if your view of Father God has been shaped by painful experiences with an earthly father or authority figures, you’re not alone. We anchor this conversation in biblical encouragement that doesn’t depend on mood or performance: you are God’s child, His masterpiece, saved by grace, and seen by a God who looks at the heart.
From there, we connect belief to daily life. Jesus says in John 10:10 that the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but He came to give abundant life. We share practical next steps for renewing your mind: open the Bible, ask God to speak through His Word, read Ephesians 1:3–7 for identity in Christ, and observe the character of God through the life and words of Jesus in the Gospels. If you want spirit, soul, and body resilience that lasts, this is a place to begin.

Schemes Defined And Victory Remembered
Constance LavoniceLast week we talked about the schemes of the devil. A scheme is a plan of action, a strategy to hinder, defeat, or destroy. We talked about the importance of knowing who we are in Christ, that we already have the victory over any scheme of the devil. Another important fact is to know that God loves you. You're listening to Whole Heart Conversations. This is a podcast for women that provides biblical encouragement to foster whole heart, spirit, soul, and body resilience. I'm your host, Constance Lavonice. We already have the victory in Christ because of who we are, our identity. The Bible exhorts us to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might to put on the full armor of God so that we will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. One way to stand firm and to have victory throughout your life is to know who you are in Christ, your identity. You are the daughter of the Most High, creator of heaven and earth. You have the power of Christ within you, and you can overcome all things through the power of the Holy Spirit that resides within you. God loves us, but some of us have difficulty believing that God can really love me. And if you're one of those persons who can imagine God loving everyone else, but you question if he really loves you, or if you have a hard time with the concept of Father God, Abba God loving you, or imagining him as a God who loves because of your past experiences with your own earthly father or men in authority in your life. If you are imagining or wondering if God can really love you, He can. And He does. The Bible tells us that you, we are His masterpiece, and you have been created for good works. God so loved the world that He gave His only Son to die for us, to die for you. God's love can never be taken away from you. God's grace has saved you. Not through our own works, not because of how wonderful we are. No, He doesn't look on the outside. God doesn't judge you from your past experience. God sees your heart. God sees you as his child. And he said that it was good. When he looked at his creation, he said it was good. God loves you. I just want to remind someone who's listening, all of us, that God loves us and to be resilient, to be able to go through the ups and downs of life, knowing who you are, your identity, and also knowing that God loves you will help you to flourish in life. Jesus said that the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but I have come to give you life and to give you life more abundantly. John 10 10. When you know the love of God, you begin to live life abundantly the way God designed for you to live, to reach your full potential. So if you're having trouble believing that God, a holy God, really loves you. He wants you to be renewed in your mind. How do you renew your mind? Open the Word of God. Open the Bible. Read the Bible and ask God to speak to you as you read his word. Look at Ephesians. I mentioned this last week. Look at Ephesians chapter one, verses three through seven, where God tells you who you are in Christ, your identity. And as you read the Bible, look at God's character. Seek to see his character and his ways. Look at the life of Jesus, Jesus, the physical manifestation of the invisible God. Observe his ways, listen to his words as you read the Gospels, the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The only way to know that you're loved by someone is to spend time with them, get to know them, observe their ways, what they say, what they do. And as you begin to read the Bible, you'll see the character of God. You'll see his love, compassion, and his mind for us as the people that he created, the woman that he created. God loves you. And when you know this in your heart, it will transform your life. Resilience is knowing that you are loved by God.
