From mental health and friendships to academic pressure, identity, social media, and everything in between, we’re here to explore the issues that matter most to today’s teenagers.
Episode are packed with honest conversations, relatable stories, sometimes special guests, and always the kind of insights you don’t always get in the classroom. Whether it’s tackling tough topics, celebrating small victories, or navigating the ups and downs of growing up, Between the Bells gives students a space to be heard and to hear from others who are navigating the same messy moments —and finding strength, humor, and growth along the way.

Mrs. Derrico has been a teacher for eight years, four of which have been at Seneca Valley IHS. In her current position, Mrs. Derrico teaches 9th grade US History and 10th grade AP World History: Modern. Her favorite part about teaching is serving her students and building a positive, friendly environment for learners. In her spare time, Mrs. Derrico loves to cook, bake, sing, walk, and cheer on the WVU Mountaineers.
