Pastor Dee is a follower of Christ, a devoted wife of forty-three years, mother of three, and grandmother of four. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Studies through Liberty University Online, where she also earned a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Music Education (All-Levels) from West Texas A&M University. She is a certified Kodály music educator, professional flutist, and researcher of American folk songs. Pastor Dee serves as the founding pastor of The House of Prayer, a Spirit-led ministry rooted in grace, prayer, outreach, and creative discipleship. This ministry leads initiatives that bridge biblical scholarship with practical compassion. 

Bernie Tackitt is a beloved retired band director whose passion for music continues through his work repairing band instruments. A devoted servant of Christ, Bernie has ministered in jails, served the homeless, and preached in retirement centers—bringing hope and encouragement wherever he goes. He is the cherished husband of Pastor Dee Ann Loving-Tackitt, his partner in life and ministry for over 43 years. Together, they serve at The House of Prayer, a Spirit-led ministry devoted to grace, outreach, and discipleship. Bernie is deeply loved by his three children and four grandsons, who admire his wisdom, humility, and unwavering faith.
