In this special Soul Drop episode of The Empowered Soul Podcast, I offer a short prayer for rain, peace, and healing for our planet.

After hearing news of a fire near Custer, South Dakota and reflecting on the memories and emotions that wildfires can carry for so many communities, I felt called to pause and offer a moment of prayer for the Earth.

My heart goes out to everyone affected. Our family deeply empathizes with this experience, as we too lived through the devastation of a wildfire in our previous community in California. Moments like these remind us how connected we all are to one another and to the land itself.

This gentle prayer honors the waters, winds, plants, animals, and the cloud and thunder beings who bring balance to the land. It also holds space for peace among the human family during times of conflict and suffering.

May this prayer bring grounding, compassion, and remembrance that we are all part of the same living Earth and that we are all one and interconnected.

With love & gratitude,

Welcome to the Empowered Soul Podcast, a cozy audio nest of soulful musings and heart-made creations. If you're a mystical soul craving connection and inspiration, you've found your flock. Hi, I am MC Mama Bird, a mama artist, soul regression therapist and trainee, a longtime yoga and meditation guide, sharing stories, conversations, and everyday magic for your soul and your family. Now take a deep breath and stretch your wings wide to enjoy the ride. Last night I learned about the fire near Custer State Park, and hearing the news stirred some really deep memories in my heart of the fires many of us have lived and witnessed and survived. It reminded me how closely our lives are connected with the land, the forests, the waters, and the delicate balance of nature. At the same time, many parts of the world are experiencing deep conflict and suffering. So today I simply felt called to pause and offer a prayer. A prayer for rain, moisture, precipitation, snow where it is needed, for the protections of the waters and the land, and for peace among the human family. It is also the March Equinox. It is an opening of a portal of equal day and night. You can almost imagine it as the opening and the parting of the seas, for example, as a vortex portal, gateway that allows for the communication between our higher self and our soul, incarnate self, guides and guidance, listening to our intuition, allowing for the benevolent forces of peace to permeate our thoughts, feelings, and actions and our connections with one another. So let us take a breath together, breathing in, and exhaling. Let's enter this moment of gratitude and prayer together with a prayer for rain, for peace, and the healing of the earth, honoring the elements and all beings. Manu, Great Spirit, Creator, God, O loving universe, the creator of life, the source of the breath that moves through all living beings, the life force that moves through all, the great spirit that moves through everything. You may call it Prana, Chi, the Field. We pause for a moment to remember that we are part of the great family of earth. We begin by giving thanks. We start with the waters of this world, rivers, lakes, underground springs, and the trickles of water underneath our feet, the clouds that travel across the sky as messengers and carriers of life. Thank you for carrying life to every being and for connecting us all through big landscapes, to the winds that move across the land, that carry the seeds, bring change, whisper through the grasses and the trees. We thank you. You also carry the song of bird, this bird song that lifts us from our troubled minds. We also thank the soil beneath our feet, the patient earth that holds the roots of forests, mycelium, and feed every plant, creature, and human family. We give our gratitude to these plants and trees and the green nations who breathe life into the earth. They stand quietly through the seasons, giving us medicine and food, teaching us resilience and generosity. From the core of our hearts, thank you. And to the animal nations, the winged ones, the four-leggeds, the swimmers of rivers and oceans, and the little crawling ones who tend it to the soil. We honor your presence in this grand web of life, all the roles you play, so that this web of life can coexist. No being is an island. We need one another. You remind us of the deep interdependence between all lives, and to the cloud nation, to the thunder beings, to the gathering of the rains. You bring the storms, you respond to the sound and the song of frogs. You bring the connection between heaven and earth. And the earth is so grateful for the jolts of electricity and prana that you bring down to the earth through your vitality. You enliven the earth. It is the love making between the thunder beings, the cloud nation, and Pachamama. You renew the land. We ask with humility for your help. We need you now on earth. The earth is thirsty. The trees need more moisture. And where the grasses are dry and the forests are vulnerable to fire, we ask for gentle rains to come. Snow. May the waters return to the land and balance and may the forest be protected. May the soil drink deeply and be restored. And we also remember in this little cozy moment of time, the places of conflict in the human family. From the east to the west and the north to the south, for all the lands where there is fear and war and suffering, we pray for peace. Peace, peace, peace. Om shanti, shanti, shanti, shalom, pas, pache, salam, wolakhota. May wisdom guide the hearts of leaders. May compassion rise among the nations. May the human family remember that we are one with each other and the earth. We are interconnected, interdependent. And when we realize that level of consciousness, we know we cannot hurt one another. Hurting one another is hurting ourselves. May we climb in the ladder of wisdom towards that deep inner knowing and deep intersharing. When we reach that level of consciousness, the universe is evil proof. No being would dare hurt another because we are one and the same. Creator, help us begin this healing within ourselves. We want outer peace. We begin with inner peace. May we walk gently upon the land. May we speak words that bring understanding, truth, compassion, empathy that keep our hearts soft and open. May we remember that every small act of kindness contains a huge ripple effect outwards into the bigger world. May rain fall where it is needed. May peace grow where it has been forgotten. May our relationships blossom with peace, where we have forgotten that we need one another and thrive in community. That we are a reflection of each other. May the egos be nurtured like a hurt inner child. May we parent our own inner child so that we can live in peace once again with one another. May all the earth and all her families, from nature, humans, and spirit beings be surrounded by protection, balance, and renewal with gratitude for this breath of life that moves through all things and the sacred web that holds us all together. Amen. Aho Mitakoyasan. And so it is listening to the Empowered Soul Podcast. If this episode touched your heart, I'd love for you to follow the show and share it with someone you love.
