The love party. Silent Alarm. I think it's like a perfect album, and I used to listen to them so much when I was a teenager, and I've recently gone back into my block party phase. My favorite song on this is So Here We Are. I think that's generally like one of the most timeless songs ever. They're just so good. I think the lyrics in that song is I figured it out, I can see again, and he repeats that. And there's I don't know, there's a beauty in the simplicity of those lyrics, and like it doesn't feel specific, but then it also feels specific. I like when people write like that. Epic, epic record. SIBO Mato. I love them.

On my second record, I was listening to a lot of SIBO Mato. I kind of fell into a rabbit hole of watching all their live performances and those girls are crazy. They have so much fun, they're like jumping around. I love when women are crazy because they remind me of me.

Really amazing sounds is this one amazing video that they did, I think for Sugar Water by Michelle Gondry. That's like one of my all-time favorite music videos ever. There's like a really interesting concept where like it's a split screen and then one starts at the top and one starts at the end and they meet in the middle. So one's in complete reverse. It's just epic in the moment where they meet. It's just like, how did he do that? I always get like enamoured by people who can do things that I can't. So I love me a director, but I also love Steve Matter. They're just the coolest chic ever. This segues smoothly into um the selection of all my favorite directors. I love Chris Cunningham, I love Spike Jones, I love Michelle Gondry, I love all their music videos. Um Michelle Gontry obviously like I love that Bjork video that he did, and he's just an incredible director. And I love it. I love that it does that. Um I mean he's just badass.

I was just like clutching it like this, I'm like, oh my god. Because I was talking about it to my manager, like literally just before I got her, and now I've got all three. You know what? I'm gonna talk about Pixies. Classic, just a classic record. One of my favorite bands of all time. Like that's like my funeral song. Because I'm thinking that far ahead. Love him. That's all I gotta say. This is Red House Painter's incredible band. Um I actually never like properly delved into this record. And the thing about Buying Vinals is that I'm gonna listen to an album through and through for the first time. And I think I've like listened to a couple of these songs. I'm a big fan of Sunkill Moon, and they're such an incredible band, and so I want to delve into his other band. Such cool names. But yeah, I'm very excited to delve into this. Had to be done. It had to be done. The best real documentary ever to exist. I mean, I thought it was real when I watched it and I was really confused. I was like, are these guys just really dumb?

Let's uh talk a little bit about the history of the group. We became uh the originals, right? And uh we had to change our name, actually. Whereas there's another group in the East End called the Originals, and uh we had to rename ourselves uh the new originals. New originals, and then uh they became the regulars. They changed their name back to the regulars, and we thought, well, we could we could go back to the originals, but what's the point?

It's just so epic. Right of passage if you're a musician or just a human being, just the right of passage, to watch this. Like, honestly, like I'd love to be done, so I'm happy I've got that. Title V, Floral Green, obviously classic. And Shane, I love him. I wrote the majority of my new album Pylon with Shane Moran from Title Fire, almost as a ploy to get them back together. But he's just an incredible, incredible songwriter, incredible guitarist, and this album is epic. In between is a great song. They're just the fucking blueprint, aren't they? Kind of epic that I got to write with one of the guys. So cool! I'm so happy I get to keep all these what else? What else do I talk about? Okay. Like one of the best albums of all time, I think. All their albums are incredible, and their new one is literally up there with which is insane. Like, you still got it, bro. I've been privileged enough to work with Gino on my new record. He screams with me on the last song. We actually wrote two songs together. You know, eventually we'll put out because I love him so much. But yeah, all I really needed was to scream with Chino. You know? Dream Come True. The thing about Deft Tones is that their rips go so hard and their jumbeats go so hard, and then Chino's vocals and melodies just soar over it like freaking Frank Snatcher. It was something crazy. You know, like it's so melodic what he does, and often when he found like when we were walking in the studio together, he'd like come up with Britzia. Like, I was like, alright, so we're gonna scream and like do this shit, like yeah. And then he would like, well, like come up with the most beautiful melodies. And I'm like, this dude rocks. And we went to a horror night.

I love him so much, like he's like my main inspiration of how I move on stage, especially with like this new record, like he moves like a like a rapper, and then someone jumped in front of him and he did the cheat. He was like, whoa! And I'm like, oh god, but he doesn't notice because he's just so naturally cool. God, oh, to be that naturally cool. I wonder what that's like. You've got it. I bloody hope so. Can I talk about the slinky? You sure can. I saw the slinky, I needed to get it. I have two cats, they love the slinky down the stairs. I think that's just as important as spinal tap. So there you go.
