Joshiya Mitsunaga

Joshiya is the founder of Genba Studio, a creative tech company pioneering AI-powered learning solutions. Originally rooted in educational filmmaking, Joshiya shifted his entire business toward artificial intelligence when he saw video production listed as a profession likely to disappear due to AI. Within just a few years, Genba flipped its business model, from 90% video to over 70% AI-driven work.

At Genba Studio, Joshiya leads a multidisciplinary team that designs immersive learning experiences, faster, smarter, and more impactful. They use AI not to replace people, but to empower them. By applying the principles of hybrid intelligence, Genba ensures that human creativity, judgement, and ethical reflection remain central, even as automation accelerates.

Jos is known for his hands-on leadership style and his belief that innovation requires both speed and psychological safety. His mantra: automate what you can, and grow in the areas where AI can’t replace you.
