Catholijn Jonker
Catholijn Jonker is full professor of Interactive Intelligence at TU Delft. She studied computer science and earned her PhD at Utrecht University. After academic roles in Switzerland and Amsterdam, she became professor of AI/Cognitive Science at Radboud University. She chaired the Young Academy of the KNAW and held memberships in various prestigious academies. From 2013–2016, she led the Dutch Network of Women Professors. A EurAI Fellow and board member, her research focuses on value-sensitive AI, cognitive modeling, negotiation, teamwork, and intelligent agents. At TU Delft, she leads an interdisciplinary team working on human-technology synergy. She received the 1.5M€ VICI grant for her “Pocket Negotiator” project on AI-supported negotiation.
