We hold the power to create a life. We not only like, but love. Let's do this.
Speaker 2Hi everyone. Welcome back to another episode of Organized Chaos Stories with Shabana. I am so excited. I have my friend here, Heather from WhatsApp Whisper. We are doing a fun episode today. We're gonna be talking about, manifestation miracles and all the goodness that comes in this month of March. Heather, why don't you go ahead and introduce yourself to everyone who's listening.
SpeakerWelcome to our podcast. So excited to, have another conversation with you, Shabana. I'm super excited. I think we have lots of great things in common and. Look, we're even manifesting another conversation and that's what we're gonna get into today. So that's fun. And I think that we all just need to take moments where we pause and take a minute to breathe because, as you are and I am, we are both busy moms and all the other things in between and everybody has different schedules. So I think that taking these few minutes to just get together and have a conversation is wonderful because it allows us to sit down and relax And to hear the whispers right, and to understand. We are in the organized chaos at times, but we do need to hear a few whispers and take a couple breaks at the same time. So I'm happy that we are here together today.
Speaker 2Yes, absolutely. Agreed. One thing that I love that we have in common that kind of, I think draw us to each other is one, we're both in Kathy Heller's online community. We are both married, we're both here in the Pacific Northwest. We both have three children. And another thing is we both like organizing and decluttering. So. How did you get into decluttering and organizing?
SpeakerOh my gosh. I talked about this the other day. I just think I organized my color crayons at a young age, and I think they're actually maybe organized in a certain way already, but I'm like, oh, I put all the reds together and that, I think my brain just thinks in those little kind of pieces because I think. It makes more things efficient, right? Kind of go to the grocery store. If all the pickles weren't together and they were in five different aisles, we'd be so confused and wanna know what to do. Oh my God. Right. So it's like, I like that efficiency and I think about that all the time and like, oh, I don't need to worry about it. But it doesn't mean my house is always completely organized because you know what? There is the chaos, but I do know that it makes life so much easier when you have things where they're supposed to be, I don't know. It's fun and it's exciting because then you can put different pieces of the puzzle together too, and even to organize in an outfit or organizing time to meet up. Right..
Speaker 2Absolutely. How do you feel you've manifested your job that you have or. Any manifestation stories at all? Anything come, to mind when you hear the word manifestation?
SpeakerWell, it's funny because I've been thinking about some things. Do I want to do that or is it just an idea? And like, okay, maybe I, I'm like, maybe I do wanna do that, and how much time do I have to do that, right? Mm-hmm. Um, so I was like, maybe I wanna organize more closets. That sounds fun and exciting, right? So, yeah. I mean, I think just honestly putting it out into the universe and maybe even telling just a few friends and then it starts to happen. And I thought about there's a, a house that's kind of vacant right now in our neighborhood today. Mm-hmm. And I was like, I don't think I wanna be in a estate salesperson. That seems like a lot, right? Yeah, that is, I mean. I could do it, I'm sure, but that's a lot of time invested and I don't know what that, you know, what you get back for that. But I'm like, oh, going through people's things and their treasure seems really exciting to me at the same time. Yeah. Yeah. How about for you?
Speaker 2Um, I feel like. I love the word manifestation. I feel like it's something newer that, just, that concept, I feel like manifestation is such a, it's such a magical word and I feel like I don't even, I don't even know. I think it's something that I've learned within the last, I would say, 10 to 15 years of what does that even mean? Like how do you even define it? And then I read a book, by Abraham Hicks. I think it's something like Ask Believe and receive something on. They have the, those words in the title. Um, no, it's called it's Ask and it is given, and it's a book about manifestation and the realization that a lot of manifesting is about asking for what you want from God's source of the universe. Um, believing that it's possible that your desires are possible. And in this waiting of receiving the outcome that you're taking aligned action steps. I feel like a lot of times, people think that manifestation is like going and playing the lottery and you're just like at the slot machine waiting for like. Your numbers to come up. Seven. Seven. Seven. Okay. You won the jackpot, but really a lot of it is also making sure you're in alignment and that you're taking aligned action steps. I mean, I think it's, it's both. Sometimes you're just waiting at the. The thing does fall into your lap, but other times it's taking aligned actions, um, to like make the phone call or like reach out to your friends and make those appointments and go organize closets and make content. And then realizing that you're gonna start charging people to do this little side hustle of organizing or
SpeakerRight. It's also like about getting clear. I mean, I think that we've. All been manifesting probably our whole life. And then mm-hmm. Maybe more about paying attention to what you really want and being more clear in the direction you wanna head.
Speaker 2Yeah.
SpeakerRight. Like I'm sure we both manifested at husband and all that kind of stuff.
Speaker 2Yeah. It's like,
Speakerno. And I do believe that the less you think about things. That they actually come. So if you're just like, oh, I'm going out tonight. I'm gonna meet somebody. I'm gonna meet somebody over and over every night you go out. I just don't think it's gonna happen.
Speaker 2Yeah. Like it's
Speakersuffocates. You're forcing it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then you're like clingy and then you're needy and it just, I don't feel like it works that way. And I think it's the one night that you just totally let everything go and it shows up in your life.
Speaker 2Agreed.
SpeakerYeah, because, yeah. Yeah. 'cause lately I've been feeling like I'm just shoving everything that I want into a jar and it's all gonna burst and I just, I'm like, maybe it needs to blow away.
Speaker 2Mm-hmm.
SpeakerNot think about these things anymore. Yes. No. Deep down in a direction I wanna go. But doesn't mean one conversation like this or with someone else is gonna take me in a whole new direction. I didn't even know I wanted to be in.
Speaker 2Yeah, that reminds me of the time I did manifest my husband and he literally showed up at my doorstep. Um, so, um, backstory is I had a bunch of like, relationships in high school and stuff like that. And then I was in a pretty serious relationship my senior year, my freshman year of, um. Like high school and college. And then I ended up going away to school, um, to like a Christian internship down in Texas. And then, um, the first year was like really strict rules. It was like no dating, no secular music, like all these things, but the second year you were allowed to date. And so it was during the first year and second year, I was like, God, like when I meet the person that I'm meant to marry. You need to tell me, like, this is the person you're gonna be with for the rest of your life. And I was like, like, like I had, like I put my request in kind of thing and I like let go of the outcome. Um, and then the start of our second year, I was on leadership. And you're allowed to date your second year. And my friend is like, Hey, I gotta go take my other friend to the airport. Do you wanna come with me? We can hang out, uh, for the day in Dallas, blah, blah, blah. So she comes to my door with her, her friend that needs to go to the airport. And this other guy, I had never met him before, and I was like, who is this person? Like, why is he hanging out with us? And then so we go to Dallas, we drop off the guy at the airport, then it's me. This person and my friend, and I'm sitting across the table from this guy and like, God's like, this is a person you're gonna be with for the rest of your life. And I'm like, no, he's from Washington State. That's so far away. Like, whatever. And so I don't pursue him. 'cause I had pursued so many relationships in the past and, um, it was like, it was everything I wanted. But I, but, and it all worked out. Obviously we've been married now for 18 years, but it was just like. Wild that like you can manifest things if you're like, like I wanted it and then I released it and then it happened and then I didn't want it. But then I ended up wanting it. Like,
Speakeryeah, we have a similar story. It's really more on my husband's side, but like, 'cause I used to go dancing, uh mm-hmm. Right at the clubs. I mean, I, every night pretty much for a few
Speaker 2years. Yeah.
SpeakerHe saw me one year and then he went back to school in Utah. Wrote me a letter, never sent it because I had, I didn't want anything to do with him the first time. Right. So on his way back, a year later, he burnt the letter and then happened to run into me again, and then I had, and then we hung out. So like, it's more his story because it was somebody he was thinking about and I had di give 2 cents about him, right? Mm-hmm. So it's really cool that it's like, okay, he kind, I guess he burnt the letter and let it go and Yeah. It's meant to be, is meant to be.
Speaker 2Mm-hmm. Right.
SpeakerSo fun stories, right? It's like, yeah. We can't, it's just like I can't keep forcing. Like I've been thinking, I'm like, oh, I'm forcing that. I gotta let that go. Whatever it is, even if it's so small. Yeah. And I told somebody one time, I'm like, yeah, but if I am, but it's like it's, I feel like it's easier to think about manifestation when you go, I think tonight I'm gonna go to such and such for dinner. Right. And I'm gonna make that happen and I'm gonna call somebody and they're gonna go with me. And, but the bigger dreams that we have, we make it sound so much harder than it is to create it.
Speaker 2Yeah.
SpeakerI, I mean, it's just kind of a fun way to look at it, but it's like, okay, well, oh, I guess I can't have that 'cause that's too big of a dream and that's too far fetched, but yet I can have the nice dinner with my friends, you know, or go to a, our creative vacation.
Speaker 2Why do you, why do you think that is? Is
Speakerit I, I, I don't know. It's just like, maybe it's like we put too much pressure on ourselves. What do you think? Like, oh, I can't have that. I think,
Speaker 2yeah, I think because of our limited thinking as humans, we attach too much meaning to the bigger thing. Um, and a lot like Abraham Hicks always says, it's like if you can manifest a button, you can manifest a castle. And so just to really let go of, um. Limiting beliefs and stuff like that, and like she's an amazing manifester along with a lot of other people that I'm sure we like both follow here and there throughout the ages and Kathy Heller and all like all,
Speakerwell, I think it, it really is getting clear on what you want, because you can be thinking about all the things that you wanna manifest, but really, do you really want that? Like, don't you want something else that's maybe, maybe you need to work on something, right? Or maybe you need closeness with friends, but you keep thinking you need to outsource all the things that you need to get and it doesn't really bring you wholeness. Yeah. So it's like that's why we get stuck on, I don't know, drinking drugs, you know, and getting addicted to things because we feel that's gonna fill our cup, but it's not really what you really, truly wanna manifest.
Speaker 2Yeah. How do you feel like you get, we can both answer this. How do you feel you get clear on what you want?
SpeakerI think that is either, sometimes just turning all the noise off, and I really do think it is listening to the whispers and maybe writing things down. And getting into the feeling that I want. 'cause I was kind of writing about this last night of just like picturing my day how I want it to feel and be and, and because you could walk into your same job every day or. Go to your walk into your house every night at the same hour and expect that you're gonna have the same feelings you did yesterday. So then you're just creating from yesterday's vibration. And I just think that we need to kind of release that and maybe just let, maybe today I'm gonna walk into my house and just think something different, right? Or go into work a different way. Sometimes I just walk a different way, even though I have to go in the same door just to feel like it's a little different. Mm.
Speaker 2I love that.
SpeakerYeah.
Speaker 2Um, I think for me, different tools that I use, 'cause I know both of us. Enjoy journaling a lot when we have, when we have the time and make the time to do it, um, is I love to future script, like it's already happened. So like I'll pull out of my journal and I'm like, I am. So thankful, and I'll pretend that the day has already happened, but I'll write it at like eight o'clock in the morning. Like today was such an amazing day. My kid like won his baseball game. I had such an amazing podcast with Heather and I connected with this person and work went really well. And then later in the day. At the end of the day, I'll read it. I'm like, oh my gosh, did this, did this happen? Like this really felt like this was my day. And it, it's wild like yeah, that is, it's so crazy. Like we can manifest our desires by writing it out ahead of time. Yeah. I did that the other day 'cause I was really stressed out because I had like a lot going on that day and um, there was a lot of unknowns, but I wanted it to go a certain way and like. 98% of the day happened the way I wrote it. And I know some people are like, well, that's just coincident. I'm like. I don't care if it's coincident or a magic trick, like it worked and I'm happy. Like it went so much better than like my anxiety, like making the day worse. You know?
SpeakerMaybe you're also training your brain to see like the better things instead of like all the like, this is stressful or I don't have time for this, et cetera. This is chaotic.
Speaker 2Yeah, exactly. Um, so I feel like that's a really good way for me to get clear. Another exercise that I love is all write down. Um, what, what I would love, like, I would love for all my kids to pass all their classes. I would love for the house to be clean and organized more. I would love this. I would love to have more energy and um, that's always a fun exercise to do. I always just, and also like. Well, I just realized that here in the Pacific North Northwest, it rains 212 days out of the year. Um, so we're almost to nicer weather. Um, when, when that happens, I'm very excited to go, um, just walk outside more and get more fresh air and get just back out into nature. I mean, yes, I can walk in the rain, but. I'm
Speakernot as motivating. I mean, the, the daylight is nicer, so that's great. And it, and this week's cold, but it hasn't, it's not always cold when it's raining. So that's more motivating for sure.
Speaker 2Yes, for sure. Um, have there been any. Miracles that you have manifested,
Speakeroh gosh, that, that question I might have to think about for a few minutes and then that come up, right?
Speaker 2Mm-hmm.
SpeakerUh, yeah. I mean, just getting to meet so many wonderful people just because I started listening to a podcast and then I took a course, and then I just was like, wow, I didn't know all this was possible. And then the, uh, last week I was feeling very, um. And lack, I would say, let's just make that easy. Like, yeah, I don't have this and I don't have that. And I was like. Put on the brakes, Heather, wait a minute. 'cause I was comparing myself to someone else, of course, is what we like to do. I'm like, oh wait, I do have that. I can create that. I can make these moments happen. I was like, I don't have any new friends. Was I kidding? You know?
Speaker 2Yeah.
SpeakerSo I was like, I don't have this situation. Sure. But that's not a situation I would wanna manifest. Right. So it's like sometimes you think you gotta dream what somebody else is dreaming and then you get stuck that it's not really what you wanna do. Because then like then you're just not gonna come from a full cup, right? You're just gonna be like, this is what I have to do, what I have to create. 'cause that's what someone else is doing. And I just feel like that feels tiring.
Speaker 2Yeah. Well it's, it's exhausting that there's that phrase like, comparison is the thief of all joy. And when we compare, then our joy gets drained, then it's exhausting because we're, running on those like empty gas tanks, which reminds me I need to put gas in my car. But, um, yeah, like all the things, I
Speakermean, do, how do you think. You can manifest, I think that you had to have need to have a clear conscience, right. Or a clear mindset and a clear day to Yes. Writing your things in the morning really helps uhhuh 'cause you're fresh. But then the, I need to fill my gas tank comes up in the middle of the day and I'm like, I've been trying to set those type of thoughts mm-hmm. For when it's the right time. Like on my way home. Now I can think about what I need to make for dinner or need to do instead of thinking about it all day at work. Because then it it just fills up space. Yeah. Like instead the jar, then I just can't think about anything else 'cause it's so full. 'cause I'm thinking about my to-do list.
Speaker 2I know some people, if you have your quiet time or your god time or focus time or journal time, me time in the morning, and then you have those little things that pop up in your head, like, oh, grocery store, oh, doctor's appointment.
SpeakerYep.
Speaker 2They. Next to their journal, they have like a running to-do list, so when it pops up, they just write it down on a separate piece of paper. So that's what I try to do, like on my phone. When those little things pop up, I just jot it down so it's outta my brain. Like, oh, put the meatloaf in at four 30 and like, write it down. Like, that's how I get rid of those extra thoughts. That, so it's not like, you know, filtering in my head all day and making my brain wanna explode.
SpeakerYeah. Then I don't, then I think you can't manifest and then you can't create things because you really, it's, you're full of so many other things, whether it could be stress or maybe something you needed to say to someone or something that you need to do. Whatever it is, we just pile on net those thoughts and then don't move forward.
Speaker 2I think the best thing for that one is, let's say you feel like you have all that commotion in your head. Pen to paper is always the best, but like on your lunch break, you set your phone timer for five minutes and you do the Mel Robbins brain dump, and you literally just write everything, bullet points, write it all down, and then you circle three things if you can actually get it done before you go to bed that night and you feel like you're accomplished. That's my favorite. Offloading of my brain, so my head doesn't explode, is the Mel Robbins brain dump. She has a YouTube video on it. Um, and there's something else. I know for me, like I, I'm really good at letting the house just almost just explode into a disaster. Like today it was like, oh my gosh, today I need to go through every room of the house and fold all the blankets and pick up all the dishes. And sometimes it's just you have that one day where you have to basically reset the whole house.
SpeakerBut I had my kids do that last Sunday. I'm like, okay, every Sunday they can do a vacuum and do the garbages. Yeah. Those kind of things because it's like, I need you guys to take a few things off my list.
Speaker 2Yes.
SpeakerRight. So that I don't feel, I don't mind cleaning the tub and doing that kind of thing, but it's like. You know, and especially as they're getting older, they need to have these skills that they know how to do. I was making my oldest do laundry and teaching the middle one how to do it. I'm like, it's easy. You can do it. Mm-hmm. Don't mix colors.
Speaker 2Yeah. Yeah. Um.
SpeakerI just really believe we do have to get quiet and find that and center ourself because then you're just shoving, you're just thinking that you gotta do all this stuff and you can't really even hear what your thoughts are trying to say and what you wanna manifest or what you truly want. Yeah. If you're just living in the chaos.
Speaker 2Yeah, absolutely. I think, um, I'm trying to think, are there any, is there anything really big you've ever manifested in, let's say a house? Or, money or a gift or a trip
SpeakerUm, I did. Uh, okay. So. When we got our house, we uh, we can look online. This is about 16 years ago. So I actually found a house that was in, really, it's like a block over two blocks, Uhhuh from here. And I was like, oh, that house doesn't look great. And then our realtor found this house in the exact same neighborhood. So it was like I knew the neighborhood, maybe I wanted Uhhuh, so, and it was the first house we physically went and looked at. And that's the house we bought. 'cause it just checked off so many boxes.
Speaker 2That's awesome.
SpeakerYeah.
Speaker 2That's so funny. Um, so, um, like exact similar story. So we found a house that was literally like, I don't know, a couple blocks away from this house that we're in right now. This was, I don't know, 12 years ago, whatever. And it was a greenhouse and we looked at it and the inspection was good, minus there was like some water damage inside and I was like, Nope. Not doing it. Like, uh, it, yeah. And um, then the next house we looked at, which is the house we're in right now, we ended up getting.
SpeakerNice.
Speaker 2But it's the same thing. It was like the neighborhood, like right by it. So we knew the area, but we didn't get that house, but we got this house. Yeah, I
Speakerthink that house might have been a little bit bigger, but I think I like where our is, ours is on the street much better and the yard is great.
Speaker 2Uh,
Speakerthat one by apartment. So this is so much better.
Speaker 2Yes. Do you guys do anything, um, special, like food-wise for St. Patrick's Day or.
SpeakerNo, I like how you were talking about that right? Manifest, you were talking about St. Patrick's a minute ago. Mm-hmm. Um, I do not, yeah. Do you?
Speaker 2I I'm really good at not being consistent, so like when the kids were little, I remember one time. I got like a basket and it was green, like from the dollar store or whatever, and then I put green items in it. So it was like lucky charms, like the offend lucky charms and like green apples and like green marshmallows and like things like that from a leprechaun or whatever.
SpeakerWhen kids are little, they love that stuff.
Speaker 2Yeah.
SpeakerYeah.
Speaker 2So that was fun. And then. David really likes to cook dinner. He also has a bunch of food allergies, so I'm like, you can cook dinner 'cause I'm not managing this. So, um, he'll do, what's that? St. Patrick's dish, like corn, beef, corn, beef, chef,
Speakerand hash.
Speaker 2Yeah. Yeah. So we'll do, he'll do that with like potatoes and like, stuff like that. Um, so that will be good. But no, I mean, I, I am expecting the kids are expecting like gold coins, but always forget to get them in time and then they're always sold out. Maybe today I'll get them.
SpeakerMaybe. Yeah. Um, well, I'm doing less and less for, I don't decorate for a lot of holidays, but Christmas and Halloween. Mm-hmm. And I, we love Halloween, so that's fun. But yeah. I don't do anything decorate for Easter Easter Bunny definitely brings Easter baskets for Easter. Oh yeah. But it's always about spring stuff, right?
Speaker 2Yes.
SpeakerYeah. Oh my gosh. Yes. And see, and since we are talking about organizing too, I wanna get rid, I think I'm gonna do that the rest of the day today. So get rid of stuff, because I feel like all that clutter
Speaker 2mm-hmm.
SpeakerTakes away from I'm, it's the same thing as your mind is all the clutter in our house is just filling, taking up space for new invites.
Speaker 2Mm-hmm. That's what I was gonna say. That's what I remembered. Um, just let's, let's expand on that. So the whole mental c clutter, visual clutter, and then visual clutter and mental clutter. Like that's an, that's another reason I feel like we both like decluttering and organizing is because we see the correlation of our physical space and like how that falls up our brain. And then we can't like go work on our business plans or whatnot because. Like my physical clutter makes me I can't focus on anything 'cause there's so much stuff everywhere. I feel a lot of your podcast. Around November and December. You, you talked a lot about the correlation.
SpeakerYeah, I really do think, because even if you're in, even if I were setting up a dressing room or helping you go through your stuff mm-hmm. I can't, we can't talk about your shirts, your pants, your socks, your shoes, all at once. We're just gonna break down one item, right. And go through that or one closet at a time because it's like too overwhelming and too stimulating. People don't like that. And then their, your brain just shuts down. Mm-hmm. And then you feel overwhelmed. So anytime we're gonna be like talking about so much stuff, everybody's just gonna shut down and you're not gonna move forward anyway. Right.
Yeah.
SpeakerYeah. And if you wanna create a new image for yourself or you know, or a new goal for yourself, you have to maybe clear out the fridge. 'cause you wanna eat healthier, you gotta clear out your closet and get rid of the stuff you don't wanna wear. And of course there's gonna be tons of things I think about, probably you the same that I'm not sure I wanna get rid of yet. That's especially when it comes to kid stuff and with a full-time job and et cetera. It's like, okay, what do I wanna, what's my time worth and where, what it's valuable to use my time for? Am I always just gonna be organizing or am I gonna be creating my dreams?
Speaker 2Yeah.
SpeakerYeah. So I mean, I think parents get to that age, like, especially stay at home parents that, you know, it's like, what do you wanna start focusing on as the kids get older? Right. Because I could, yeah, I could, I could take care of them and do all that stuff with my eyes closed now. Right? So, but now it's about inviting new things in. But I gotta get finish getting rid of the toy, so maybe we'll figure that out. Mm-hmm.

Speaker 2It's so interesting, to me, when the kids were really younger, I would make sure I wouldn't declutter with them because they would say, no, I need to keep everything now. I'll want to declutter with them. And then they're like, no, get rid of everything. And I'm like, no, no, no, no. I want you to keep this because it's like special to me. And they're like, well, it's not special to me. And I'm like, ah. So it's like this push pull. Now things are more sentimental to me than to them. And so then I really have to see like, okay, which grandparent gave it to them and like what is really like trash or whatever to donate.
SpeakerYeah. I have a picture actually a couple of my kids with all their stuffed animals, so like That's good.
Speaker 2Oh yeah.
SpeakerOr if you're really don't really need it, maybe just take a picture because you remember your kid wearing that t-shirt and I have some of their old t-shirts when they were little, but I don't think I could care about their t-shirts at this age when they're teenagers.
Speaker 2Yeah.
SpeakerA couple will keep right if they love them so much, but I don't have a lot of my old clothes from that age.
Speaker 2Yeah. Yeah.
SpeakerI
Speaker 2think the only ones that we've kept is my middle son does a lot of sports, so he has all his jerseys and stuff like that. I don't know if eventually we're gonna turn it into a blanket, like I've seen, you know, where you can send in the shirts and they turn it into a, like a blanket. Yeah. But. Or if we would, I don't know, frame. I
Speakerlove that.
Speaker 2Yeah.
SpeakerSo that leads me to another thing, like how do you manifest what you really want when you come up with ideas? Like maybe this will be a blanket, maybe this should be this, maybe that should be that. And it's like, okay, hold on, Heather or Shabana, what do you really want? Mm-hmm. Right. It's, yeah. Well, I would pay somebody to make the blanket, right? Because I wanted to do it because I don't have time to do that. Or it'd be okay to do it. But
Speaker 2yeah,
Speakerlike then we add too much on our plate and really like, you gotta clear the plate.
Speaker 2Absolutely. Yeah, I definitely could not make a blanket. I would definitely hire that one out. But I also my fear is I would mail it in and then somehow it would get lost in the mail. So I'd I would wanna find someone locally here and be like, okay, I'm gonna come to your house and let's talk about this. Let me know you that kind of like, so I had more peace of mind about the project. Um,
Speakeryeah. So how do you let go of some of those projects? We don't need.
Speaker 2Um, that's a great
Speakerquestion because I have tie dye stuff and I have the cyanotype that I wanna do. I'll probably practice that this summer, but it's like, yeah. I did it for a little bit and I don't, I'm not a full-time crafter. I just like to dabble. I
Speaker 2love crafting. Me too.
SpeakerYeah. But it's like, so when do, I mean, of course you're always gonna come back, but when do you decide to let go of some of these projects that we all like to add on and think we can create?
Speaker 2Okay. Well, um. Guilty as charge or whatever they say. Um, we moved in this house, what, 10 years, 11 years, 12 years ago, something like that. I think 11 years. And I still have a closet full of craft stuff that I'm like, I'm gonna get to it one day and it's been 11 years. So I don't know the answer to that one. Um, I am. I, my thing is like, uh, scrapbooking and stuff Okay. Where I have like a bunch of stuff for that. And then also what is the other thing that I'm like, it was like, uh, like beads, like beading, making bracelets and like stuff like that. That sounds like fun. I'm like, someday, you know, I think. But I was just thinking the other day, I'm like, I'm really bored. Like I need a hobby. And scrolling on your phone is not a hobby apparently. Like not a good one. Um, but I also am getting more into like, um, social media of like, um, like marketing and stuff like that. So I just got this job where I am the, um, I run the Instagram page for a local business. Nice. And I'm having so much fun with it. I'm like, I wanna do this for like, a bunch of businesses and get paid. You know, you make your own hours and you just create content and then you make posts and you do the thing. Um, I'm like, how can I get paid more and do this more? And. I don't know. It's only my first month.
SpeakerWell talk about that in a sense of having fun and getting paid for it. So like, I mean, that's fun. We can think of all these crafts to do, but we're gonna come back to the ones that fill our cut more and to have fun, right? Mm-hmm. Not that we don't wanna try it.
Speaker 2Exactly. So. I'm just like, oh. 'cause that was like, that is okay since we're kind of totally like up and down with all of our topics.
SpeakerOh, I do think it kind of comes to manifestation because you're having fun creating, I think it's all gonna work itself
Speaker 2out. Yeah. So this is, that is definitely a manifestation story. So the beginning of February, like February 1st, Amazon Go stores closed and I had a Amazon Go package that I had to go return, but the stores had closed, so I had to go to another shipping return place. And so I walk in with my Amazon Go return and the guy that I have a friendship with, he's the manager at this shipping company and he is like, Hey, who does your social media? And I'm like, I do. Why do you ask? And he is like, oh, I'm looking for someone to run our Instagram page. And I said, well, what exactly are you looking for? And he's like, I want a couple posts a week. Um. I was like, oh, well, let's actually have a conversation. So I went in the next week we had a conversation, and then I made a proposal and then he hired me. So it's, and it's like a three month trial and so far so good. Um, but it's just like. That literally is like, I just manifested it and the, the kicker was a couple days before then I was talking to my friend Christine, and I was like, I wanna make more money. And then it like, kind of just like fell into my lap. So it's like you really can manifest whatever you want. It's getting clear. The, the intention was, I wanna make more money. And then walking into the store and then just being curious. A lot of it is curiosity. And just going for it and saying yes. And like obviously it, it could have not worked, but it did. And here we are and we'll see like how it progresses and stuff. And I'm having so much fun with it. Like, I'm like,
Speakerbut what else can this manifest later? If you continue to have fun, you could be like, here's another client for you.
Speaker 2Yeah.
SpeakerRight. So you, so much fun. And I think you have to have fun. And then maybe sometimes some of those projects are not that fun.
Speaker 2Mm-hmm. And then you're like, bye. So
Speakerthat's why we don't go back to them. It's not, or I mean, I do think sometimes it's time as well. 'cause I think I mm-hmm. I was like, I have so many things I want to do.
Speaker 2Right.
SpeakerBut my, and at the same time, my cup is full, which I'm grateful for all the things that it's full with.
Speaker 2Yeah.
SpeakerUh, I just have to create intentional time for the things that I really want.
Speaker 2Exactly. And I, I have a journal. It's not, it's in my other, oh no. I'll have to show you. It does have a bad word on it though. Oh, here it is. It says. Brilliant ideas and um, and whenever I have a good idea, 'cause I'm like you, we all have lots of good ideas. I just write it down because I can't get to all my great ideas, but maybe one day my kids will be like, oh, mom had all these great ideas. Now I'm gonna monopolize on it.
SpeakerBut isn't it cool to go back like a year later to see what you actually did without maybe sometimes you don't even go back to look at it, but once or twice for you.
Speaker 2Yeah. At least you took the time to like write it down and get it outta your brain. Yeah,
Speakerbecause I did that and then I crossed off all the things that I did for the last year.
Speaker 2Mm-hmm.
SpeakerAnd that, and some of 'em are stretch goals and some of that had to do with time or where I wanna spend my time and my money. I was like, oh, I'd love to redecorate and do all my whole house. But I'm like, well, I don't wanna do that right now.
Speaker 2Yeah. Because
Speakerit's still destroying the couch.
Speaker 2Yep. Exactly. So
Speakeryes, I do want that, but I can hold out just a little bit longer.
Speaker 2Yeah, for sure.
SpeakerYeah.
Speaker 2How do you, um, so for you, do you try to focus on like one or two of your goals that you're trying to like manifest and create?
SpeakerI, I am because I do think we can get distracted, so I think the distraction holds you back a little bit more.
Speaker 2Yeah,
Speakerso, um, so I'm focusing on the podcast a lot and then, then I wanna focus on, uh, working with influencers. But, but really it's this, because I know there's a few other things I could work on
Speaker 2Uhhuh,
Speakerand then once you have, but it's like all those steps. 'cause then I can have a backlog of recordings, which I've done before.
Speaker 2Nice.
SpeakerAnd then I could focus on other things. So if I only have two days a week, then I'm focusing the time where I need it the most or where I really want, because that's the goal I want. Right. It doesn't mean I know exactly where their goal is gonna be and I've slowly been creating a dream journal that, oh, I love it. It'll ask people like questions to help you get clear on your dreams.
Speaker 2Mm-hmm.
SpeakerSo now I like that I'm putting that out there. I was like, maybe I should talk about this today. 'cause I wanna get it out there. I haven't looked at it in a, in a little while, but I think sometimes like scrapbooking, I can, I do a little bit of that too, but it's like mm-hmm. Every other month I add just a little bit in there and I spend 10 minutes and slowly it starts creating something. And it's
Speaker 2with the, um, dream Notebook Journal thing. Um, are you making it on Canva or are you just trying, you just
Speakerhave, for now it's just written down so I could just kind of take it anywhere with me and then I can honestly, you could take pictures of and add it to Canva or add it to
Speaker 2Wow
SpeakerYout and it could just type it all out for you, so. Oh,
Speaker 2perfect.
SpeakerRight. And then. And
Speaker 2then with your, um, influence stuff, are you working with influencers to, to promote all your, um, Deion gifts,
Speakerpromote product? Yeah.
Speaker 2Okay. How is that going or how? I think
Speakerit's good. I have a couple plans in tech and then I'm gonna, you know, work on. The next step. So it's like you date influencers, just like I'd be dating Shaa and getting to know her and then, hey, now we're on podcast together, Uhhuh. So it's really, I just honestly want more connections
Speaker 2Nice. With people.
SpeakerYep. And like I said before, a couple weeks ago, I was like, oh, I fill in luck. Like I don't have this. I was like, bs got it.
Speaker 2Yeah,
Speakeryou do have this, you're just not right. You're not opening the right doors. So, or that could just be stress of feeling like I'm in the chaos.
Speaker 2Yeah.
SpeakerYeah. And, uh, I mean, some days bleed into the next day, which is totally fine.
Speaker 2Yeah, for sure. So how do you, um, how do you, what do you offer to your influencers? Like how do you
SpeakerOh, I have a 10%. So anything they sell, they get 10% on. That's,
Speaker 2mm-hmm.
SpeakerSo you can sell whatever you want.
Speaker 2Yeah. Okay. I feel like I have, I feel like I signed up for it. I don't know where it is. I'm looking Yeah. To look in an email. So you just let them just promote your stuff and go from there.
SpeakerYeah. I, um, are, what's your human design? Are you a generator or, yes, generator. Yeah. And I think I'm must be attracted to a lot of generators and manifesting generators 'cause I'm the projector. Right. So yeah. And that's, and I think that generators like to have so many different little things going on and I probably just like a few, even though I feel like I should have a lot more.
Speaker 2Yeah.
SpeakerSo like that's like a tug and a pull on myself. So I'm like, oh maybe that's too much for me. 'cause I don't necessarily have the energy
Speaker 2uhhuh to see that
Speakeror stamina for that. I don't know quite how to look at that, but it's like, yes, I have it. It's like, oh, I'll get the energy and I'll borrow it from you, and we'll create something. But I don't feel like I need to be creating a ton of stuff at the same time. I like to maybe more organize it and to simplify it. That's how my brain works in a sense. Does that make sense? Like putting puzzles together and not being like adding more to my plate. Even though we naturally do,
Speaker 2yeah, I think it just comes down to you, um, a couple times a week saying, Hey, who wants to affiliate with me? You get 10% and then just making it in your stories and posts each week.
SpeakerYeah.
Speaker 2And then you get your friends to keep signing up to be an affiliate. And then you should put like a requirement must post four times a month to stay active or something.
SpeakerRight. Oh, for the people or for me?
Speaker 2Yeah.
SpeakerYeah, that's true. Because I feel like some I,
Speaker 2because I forgot,
SpeakerI mean, a lot of influencers talk about stuff and they talk about different things all day, and I was just wondering if they talked about one or two things for like mm-hmm. Two weeks.
Speaker 2Yep.
SpeakerThat it would be more. 'cause then I just feel like people are being pulled in different directions. It's like, what do you buy? And if one influencer is just talking about one product, then you're like, that's what I buy. I trust that influencer.
Speaker 2Mm-hmm.
SpeakerI mean, that's how I kind of look at it. 'cause I'm in sales.
Speaker 2Yep.
SpeakerYeah.
Speaker 2Like being, being consistent.
SpeakerYeah. What do you wanna manifest within the next, year?
Speaker 2I, about the next year, but I know for this month, um,
Speakersmart.
Speaker 2I, um, 15, $15,000 this month, and I have no idea how it can be through work. It can be. Through fun. It can be through whatever, but that is the intention that I'm putting out is 15,000 this month. Um, and we'll see what happens.
SpeakerYeah. Um,
Speaker 2and then there was like little stuff that I wrote down that I was, um, that I'm manifesting. And I hit it. I hit like, um, it was, I wanted to have a thousand downloads on my podcast, so that happened this month.
SpeakerRight.
Speaker 2And then in Jennifer Lisa's group, I am on level five and I'm gonna level to level six this month. Um, is the plan, but like
Speakera video game? It sounds
Speaker 2great. Yeah. It's basically, we call it unicorn land. Yeah. But if you're not in it, it doesn't really make sense. But I wanna, do that. It's like a point system thing. And then. My, the oldest wasn't passing two of his classes and he's a junior, and so it was kind of a big deal and I was like manifesting that he would pass his classes and he did this week. So I was so relieved that all my kids are passing all their classes. And then those are basically. The only thing right now is just the money for this month, but obviously you know, health and wealth and the smaller things. But that's like my main thing is that, so yeah, clients and things like that. So
Speakerhow do you find the organized in your everyday chaos? Because you have three kids and it's like you want and you have dreams and you have a job and all that stuff. How do you make sure you're finding time to really find Shabba's dreams and to be there for your kids? 'cause I really think that's important. 'cause sometimes I'm just like, oh man, okay, I can do this.
Speaker 2Yeah.
SpeakerLike my son wants to watch movies every night, but I'm like, I could be doing something for X, Y, Z and I'm just like, no, be present. Be here now because they're gonna be out of the house.
Speaker 2Yeah, for sure. I think a lot of manifestation is letting go of the outcome. And so that's something I struggle with, but that's something I'm trying to just be more like being more present and being there for the kids. So I'm thankful I can work part-time and I can create my schedule and it, it is a blessing. So for example, The middle child has a baseball game today at four o'clock. So I will be there, you know, and I make sure I'm home when my kids come home from school So I make sure, in my mind I'm there for them then. And then whenever, they're in school, I'm like, all right, I'm like doing this podcast because that's content for our podcast and stuff like that. Um, and then. I don't know. I just try to make it work and
SpeakerYeah. But what if we, what about if we take the word out? I'm, I struggle, right? Yeah. Because you just said, I struggle to manifest other things, but maybe we don't.
Speaker 2Yeah. Yeah.
SpeakerMaybe
Speaker 2it's just,
Speakermaybe it's our main intention is, right? Yeah.
Speaker 2I do like the phrase, everything is always working out for me.
SpeakerMm-hmm.
Speaker 2And when I'm in like the flow and energy. I feel like it does.
SpeakerI say that a lot to myself. Even when I feel stressed out for no reason. I'm like, what is going on? I must be hungry. So I say that
Speaker 2and go eat something. Yeah.
SpeakerYeah. It's like we forget. We also have those moods for other reasons, because maybe it's that time of the month or maybe you didn't feel a well balanced meal or at the right time, and then you're just like angry and you don't know why, and then you're mad because you're angry, but you gotta really like. Why am I angry or moody?
Speaker 2Yeah. And I, and I think the other thing is I let go of the outcome. Like if for, if for some reason, like I don't manifest the amount that I desire this month, like it's not the end of the world. Like it's okay. Like if it happens, awesome. If it doesn't happen. Like, I'm still valuable. I still matter. Like I am. I'm not attached to this number. My life is still good. I still have an amazing husband and kids and amazing relationships. Like it's, a lot of it is like gratitude, like,
Speakeryeah. And I also remind myself where I didn't show up for myself, so like, oh, well you didn't put any offers out. How are you gonna do that? You know? Yes. Magically, maybe you could win the lottery or someone gives you Yeah. You know, the return. Some money.
Speaker 2Yeah. Right.
SpeakerYes. That could definitely happen. But I'm just like, well, I'm not putting any offers out. I'm not making things happen or showing up for myself, so how's the universe gonna show it back to me?
Speaker 2Mm-hmm. And that's where it's like you wanna like, I wanna manifest this $15,000, but what a lot, what. What did I do To get quiet, to clear my mind. To hear what aligned action steps that I needed to take.
SpeakerYeah.
Speaker 2To even create that amount of money.
SpeakerYeah. If you were to say more or something, or if anybody to say a certain amount of money they wanna manifest, uh, and they feel tightness in their body. Like, what, what do you do if you feel that feeling?
Speaker 2Well, you could choose another number that feels more like easy.
SpeakerYeah. I, yeah. I even feel like making the first dollar is like, yes, this is something I can do. And then keep going. Right?
Speaker 2Yeah. I like, um, like just nervous, um, system regulation. I said that wrong, but, um, just like shaking it out when we just shake our hands and stuff like that. Or just like the butterfly hug or just tapping and breathing, um, like box breath and stuff like that. Um, or just getting up and dancing and moving your body until there's a number that feels safe to go create,
Speakerright. I love that.
Speaker 2Yeah. What about you? Do you have any, um,
Speakeroh, I like to dance too. Or I'll just move around for a few minutes. I'm like, oh my gosh, there's so much stuffed energy and I like to stretch a lot, so I probably need to start adding yoga in my life.
Speaker 2There you go.
SpeakerMaybe I'm getting up at 5:00 AM
Speaker 2Uhhuh. Yeah,
Speakerbut it like, oh, I'll just. Not do yoga again, but, um, but I do make sure like I do the stretches and get it out of my body or take a little walk or
Speaker 2Yeah,
Speakermaybe, maybe sometimes I just listen to a really loud song or I turn everything off.
Speaker 2Yeah. It's one or the other. Yeah.
SpeakerYeah. So it's like, I want, I don't wanna hear anybody's thoughts or I listen to a song that's just loud, but with no words. Right. Because it's like, I don't wanna hear even those thoughts. I just wanna hear the sounds.
Speaker 2Yeah, that's true. I know some people will like, um, go take a bath or I a shower really helps me. Like refocus? Yeah. Just that, just wash away whatever. And then just,
or
Speakervacuuming, I get downloads of ideas that might not Yes.
Speaker 2Yes, that. And, um, if I go take a nap, but I'm not actually napping, I'm just like in that in between I get like the best downloads and then I'm like, oh, I could go like create this or do this kind of thing.
SpeakerI love that. I love naps. I take a nap every Thursday or Friday or sometimes on my lunch.
Speaker 2There you go. App day.
SpeakerYeah. And you guys can even write like. Or type, or sorry, use your voice notes in your phone if you have a download and just put it in there or put it in your notes and come back to it later. Just like you were talking about your book and just writing down all your ideas because they come and then they go, and then I'm like, oh my gosh, what was that amazing thought I just had?
Speaker 2Exactly. There's, there's so many things that we can manifest and it is getting clearer on what exactly we wanna manifest, and then. Getting clear on like what we choose to go manifest and, and really like following the fun.
SpeakerYeah.
Speaker 2Like it, it should, it should be fun. And if it's not fun. How long do we wanna like push through and do it? There's some things we just have to do, like the dishes are downstairs that I need to do. But
Speakeryou get to do
Speaker 2I get to do it is. It really is because then it's like
SpeakerI
Speaker 2have, if
Speakernobody was home, you wouldn't have any dishes to do.
Speaker 2Yeah. And that,
Speakeryeah. Be quiet.
Speaker 2Yeah.
SpeakerLike the other day at work, I was like, normally I sit in my car, but I was like, it was okay. So I was like, I'm just gonna walk in the mall because. I just need a different environment and I just sat somewhere else. Not that I haven't been in that mall for years, but it was just like, I need different downloads. I need different energy. And I was, and sometimes when you listen to those tiny whispers, you run into somebody.
Speaker 2Yes.
SpeakerRun into a thought. And I just like, those are really important. I think that we can definitely get stuck in our daily routine. Well, this is what I do for lunch every day. This is how I drive to work. Right. And there's nothing wrong with that, but it's just maybe, and I said maybe I should start looking at. Something different on the days I'm taking my youngest to school or the middle one.
Speaker 2Yeah.
SpeakerAnd now I can see all the cherry blossoms happening and all the tree buds starting. And then I just noticed some chickens on the side of the road that I never noticed all year. And I was like, they have a cage right there. So like, oh my gosh. Be aware of your surroundings.
Speaker 2Yes. Today? I, no, it was yesterday. I noticed the cherry blossoms. I was like, they're so pretty. Yeah.
SpeakerSo even though it's the same route, you gotta like notice something else.
Speaker 2It definitely helps.
SpeakerYeah.
Speaker 2All right. I don't know, is there anything else, um, you wanna touch upon?
SpeakerI don't think so. You, I feel like we,
Speaker 2yeah, no, I, I, um, but no, but I did get the earrings from
Speakeryou. Oh yeah. You did. Awesome. I should get a pair of those. Thank you. That was so nice.
Speaker 2They're super fun. No, this is great. Um, I'm glad we were able to talk about miracles and manifestation in the lovely month of March. I love all these M words.
SpeakerYeah. It's my son's birthday on Friday, so we'll be going to wings. Wings and wave. He wants to go to the water slide.
Speaker 2Oh, that sounds like fun.
SpeakerYeah. It's an airport. Well, it has old airplanes and then there's an airplane on top and then they slide down from the top of the airplane.
Speaker 2That's so cool.
SpeakerYeah. That'll be fun.
Speaker 2So fun.
SpeakerYeah.
Speaker 2All right. Sounds good. Thank you. Thanks.
SpeakerThanks for the invite. Have a good day.
