Life will always have problems—but what if instead of focusing on the problem, you started manifesting the solution?

In this episode, I'm sharing several real-life stories from my week, including a leaking AC, a garbage disposal full of broken glass, a rain-delayed baseball game, and a business filing that could have cost me hundreds more than necessary. Each challenge reminded me that when we slow down, pause, and trust, the next right step often becomes clear.

If you've been feeling overwhelmed or stuck, this episode will encourage you to shift your mindset from panic to peace and remember that every problem has a solution.

If life has felt a little heavy lately, full of unexpected hiccups and challenges, I want to encourage you today, better days are ahead. This past week was definitely one of those weeks. There were a lot of ups and downs, and it got me thinking about manifestation. Not just manifesting dreams, but manifesting solutions. Because here's the truth: life will always come with problems. Some we expect, many we don't. The question isn't whether challenges will come. The question is: when they do, what are we choosing to manifest? More stress or more solutions?

Welcome back to another episode of Manifesting Monday. I'm so happy you're here. Let's dive in. I truly believe we have more power than we realize. Our thoughts shape how we experience our reality. Problems are inevitable, but how we respond is completely up to us. Instead of asking, "Why is this happening to me?" I have been focusing on asking, "What is the solution?" Let me tell you about my week. Last Wednesday, I shared a story about our portable AC unit leaking in the bedroom. The drain plug in the back had come loose. The water had been quietly leaking behind the unit, soaking the carpet underneath in the corner and underneath our bed. The strange part, I never stepped into the water. It had all pooled behind the AC, so I didn't even realize it was happening until the s-smell became really bad. When I pulled up the carpet, the carpet pad underneath was completely soaked. We removed the damaged padding, dried everything thoroughly, and thankfully things are getting much better. When something like that happens, my brain immediately goes into problem-solving mode. I start thinking, "Do we buy a carpet cleaner? Do we rent one? Can we borrow one?" I reached out to three different people, and the third person had one we could borrow. Problem solved. One of the things we're really working on as a family is being wiser with our finances. Spending a hundred to two hundred on a carpet cleaner we may ra-rarely use didn't make sense when borrowing one was a better solution. And then the next day, another challenge came up. One of the kids was doing the dishes, which we have been encouraging more of this summer, the kids helping out more around the house. And somehow, one of my double shot glasses went down the garbage disposal before he even started doing the dishes. And, well, confession part, I love drinking out of those double shot glasses because it's, like, the perfect amount of milk to drink. But anyway, so it had gone down the disposal, and my son didn't know it, and he had turned on the disposal. Crunch, crunch, crunch. I was upstairs when it happened, but he came running upstairs and said, "Why did you put a shot glass in the garbage disposal?" I laughed and said, "I definitely did not do that on purpose." I told everyone not to touch anything because I have the smallest hands, and I'd take care of it. For the next forty-five minutes, I carefully pulled out what felt like a million tiny pieces of glass while wearing three layers of gloves, so I wouldn't cut myself. But that whole situation could have shown another way. I could have yelled, cussed, screamed at my kid for making that mistake, for causing us thousands in repairs, wasting my time cleaning it out, being pissed off all night and not gone to his baseball game and blamed him for the mess. But I didn't. I laughed. I took a deep breath. I gave clear instruction, "Don't touch anything, and I'll figure it out." His hands wouldn't have fit in the drain anyway, so I knew I had to take care of it. Eventually, I thought I had everything out. I turned on the disposal, and nope, it was not cleaned out yet. Of course, we had to leave for Ryan's baseball game. So while we were there, I started Googling possible solutions, many solutions online. Like, "Don't do it yourself. Call your plumber. Get someone else to fix it. Unplug it. Unscrew it. XYZ." But then I came across a solution that I was like, "Oh my gosh, duh." So it was get the shop vacuum and vacuum it all out. And of course, after getting all the large pieces out, uh, with tweezers or pliers they recommended. And so when we got home at nine PM that night after the game, I was vacuuming the garbage disposal. Then came the moment of truth. I took a deep breath and thought, "Either way, it's going to be okay." I flipped the switch and had the water running at the same time, and it worked perfectly. Everything was clear. Thank God. Again, instead of immediately assuming we needed to call someone and spend anywhere from a hundred to five hundred or more, I paused, I gave clear direction, I put on gloves, I got dirty, pulled a bunch of glass out, and reached, and thankfully it worked, and we did not need to call a handyman to take apart the disposal and fix this simply but sharp mistake. Then came the baseball hiccup. Ryan's last game started on Wednesday, but an inning into the game, it started thunder, lightning, and of course, raining. And so the umpire called the game, and it got scheduled for the following night. So for baseball, for Ryan's baseball team, my husband runs Game Changer, so that's the scoring system And, um, since the game got moved to Thursday night, h-he had prior pr-plans to take the youngest and, um, to borrow the horse and the trailer and take her to a covered arena so she could practice for the horse show this weekend. So then he was conflicted and frustrated, but he was just like, "Nope, I said I would take the youngest to practice horse stuff, so you can take Ryan to the game, and I guess we just won't have game changer for the last game." And then I went into, problem-solving mode because ultimately, like, he's such a good dad and his heart wanted to do both things. But realistically, like, it wouldn't have worked for him to do horse stuff and then flip and turn around and be on time for the game. But he was, like, really trying to make it work. And so then I was like, "Okay, there has to be a better way." So I moved my schedule around, so Thursday during the day, I was able to take her to the farm to practice. It wasn't a covered arena, but it was still more practice and time for her to spend before the weekend for the horse competition. And so Thursday night, David and I both went to Ryan's last game. Ryan was pitching, so that's always exciting and nerve-wracking when he pitches. But he did such a great job, and the team won, and David was able to do game changer. The weather was a lot cooler. There was no rain. And then really looking back, Thursday actually ended up being a better night all along. Then there was one more hiccup, and I was like, "What the heck is going on?" So last night, um, as you know, as a business owner of my decluttering and cleaning business that I have, um, and in the past it was also personal training and stuff. But anyway, as a business owner, I have to file an annual business report. So for the last, like, six months, I've been getting daily or weekly emails saying, "Hey, your business report," blah, blah, blah, "is due July 31st." And I'm like, "Oh my gosh, it's... I gotta do this." So I finally last night pulled up the email, clicked on the link, and I go all the way to the end to the checkout page expecting it to be free or at least inexpensive. And then suddenly it wanted me to submit a payment of $250. And I was like, "Yeah, no thank you." And I'm like, "Wait, what?" I literally thought that it was much cheaper if not free in the past. And so I, like, took a deep breath- Instead of paying it, I paused. I asked myself, "There has to be a better way." I closed my eyes. I thought harder. I was like, "Oh yeah, that's right. Didn't we do that one website?" And so I remembered that, um, I had to go log into the Washington Secretary of State website. And then so of course, after resetting passwords, digging through old usernames, verifying accounts, I finally got logged in, and it had like a little prompt in there that said, "Hey, uh, please submit your annual report. It's due July 31st." So I fill it out and stuff like that, and then doing it through that website was only $70. And I was like, "Yeah, I will pay $70. That makes more sense. This website seems more legit. It's not through a third party trying to make more money off of like this simple form that I have to do." So however, if I had rushed, panicked, or assumed the first option was my only option, I would have spent almost three times as much money. Again, the solution appeared when I slowed down. I have noticed a pattern. Every single one of these situations could have turned into anger, frustration, blame, stress. Instead, every single one became an opportunity to pause, To take a breath, to ask, "What is the next right step?" I really believe that's where manifestation lives. Not pretending problems don't exist, not thinking positive while ignoring reality. Manifestation is creating space for solutions. The solutions are all around us. Sometimes they're in a Google search, sometimes they're through a friend, sometimes they're in a conversation, sometimes they're hidden inside a memory of how we solved something before, but we have to get quiet enough to hear them. Last night, after finishing my business filing, I stayed up until about one, one thirty organizing business receipts, matching bank statements, and making sure everything balanced. I also threw away receipts I no longer needed. It felt so good to get organized. I truly believe that when we organize our finances, we are sending a message, a signal like Wi-Fi, That we are being good stewards of what we have already been given and are saying, "Hey, GUS, God Universe Source, I'm ready for more financial abundance." When we are faithful with the small things, He will bring us more. Have we been faithful in the small things like organizing our business receipts, not buying a carpet cleaner when I can borrow one instead? Use the network you have. Ask for the support. Believe that the solutions are already all around you because they are As I looked through everything last night regarding our finances, I realized just how much we have manifested financially this year. It honestly stopped me in my tracks. I became overwhelmed with gratitude. During this season when I feel like I am not working enough or I'm not doing enough or I am somehow falling behind, Gus, God Universe, and Source has always provided through many different avenues of David's jobs, of tax returns, from family to friends, even strangers at time. So much gratitude and it all adds up. It's not always about the money. It is the random free coffee drink or when your friend covers lunch or hitting all the green lights when you're running late. So many blessings. Ever since David and I have been married, and honestly even a little before that, I have seen over and over and over again that we have been supported. There has always been a deep peace inside me that somehow everything is going to work out. Not because life is perfect, but because my faith is bigger than my fear. Here is a fun power thought I've been thinking what if maybe we actually speed up manifestation by slowing down? Think about it. The faster we panic, the harder it is to hear wisdom. The more overwhelmed we become, the harder it is to see the next step But when we pause, when we take one deep breath, when we open our hands and simply ask, "God, what am I supposed to do here?" It's amazing how often an idea comes, a memory, a phone call, a person, a simple next step. Maybe it's joining the gym. Maybe it's calling a friend. Maybe it's taking a walk. Maybe it's borrowing instead of buying. Maybe it's checking one more website before spending the money. The answer often comes in very small ways. But then we have to take the action, because manifestation isn't just receiving inspiration. It's receiving guidance and then taking aligned action. I truly believe we are at our most powerful when we become still, when we listen, when we trust, and then when we move forward with courage. So today, I want to leave you with three journal questions because we know life will always have challenges. One, what solutions are you choosing to manifest? Two, how can I trust Gus with this challenge? Three, when will I stop, be still, and hear what the right solution is for fill in the blank? And then take five minutes today and stop, listen, and write down actions to take. And if you want to take it a step further, write the action on your calendar because what gets scheduled gets done. Now remember, maybe the miracle isn't that the problem disappear. Maybe the miracle is becoming the kind of person who trusts they will always find the next solution. Here are three mantras. "I release the problem and welcome the solution." Two, "I trust that the right answer will come at the right time." Three, "I slow down, listen, and take aligned action." I hope you were able to see how all the stories all connected through one central idea. Every problem became an opportunity to pause, trust, and manifest a better solution instead of reacting with fear, frustration, or panic. None of the problems disappeared instantly, but each one was resolved because I stayed calm, stayed curious, and took the next right step. Now, here are the takeaways. One, every problem has a solution. You just have to slow down long enough to see it. Panic clouds your thinking. Peace creates space for wisdom. Two, your response has more power than your circumstance. You cannot always control what happens, but you can choose your attitude, your thoughts, and your next action. Three, faith and aligned action work together. Trust the guidance you receive, then take the next step. Often, the solution appears one step at a time, not all at once. Life will always have challenges, but you get to decide if you are going to manifest more stress or more solutions. Please remember, you've got this. We should talk soon. How about Wednesday for Weigh In Wednesday, where I will have a new wish for you? Pop quiz. Do you remember what last week's Weigh In Wednesday wish was? It was to drink more water. I've been doing better. I'm not at eighty ounces yet, but I'll get there. Till next time, know that I love you and I'm incredibly proud of you. You're amazing and the world needs you. Happy manifesting. Love you. Bye.
