We’ve been many times, returning in August to explore the whole west coast, including trying out a new hotel in Westport town. When this episode airs we will have just been there.

Westport is a sort of canal town - waterway comes in from harbor (actually Carrowbeg River)

Great pub crawl town, lots of live music

Mt Everest (Nepalese cuisine)

Went there with my brother Tim (2019, before we moved to Italy), rented bikes, tooled around town, Westport House grounds, played Frisbee on lawn in park

Westport House, huge park, nature trails, bike paths from town through park to Westport Quay (“Key”)
