Hello beautiful souls, and welcome back.

Today’s episode is something I’ve been stewing on for a while. I’ve touched on it in Mindset Minutes, but I haven’t gone all-in — and it’s time.

Here’s the statement:

Most women are not “too emotional.”
 They’re dysregulated from years of being told their wiring is wrong.

And manifestation culture — even though I love parts of it — doesn’t always help.

“Just think positive.”
 “Act as if.”
 “Detach.”

These can be tools. But when your body is in fight-or-flight and you’re trying to spiritually outperform your nervous system?

It won’t work.

I’ve tried.

What changed my emotional world wasn’t suppressing reactions.
 It was understanding my design.

Astrology and Human Design didn’t make me mystical.

They made me regulated.

We’ve been sold this idea that emotional intensity equals instability.

If you feel deeply, you’re dramatic.
 If you need time, you’re avoidant.
 If you react fast, you’re immature.

So we shame ourselves.
 We override ourselves.
 We try to evolve past our wiring.

But you cannot heal what you’re actively rejecting.

And you cannot regulate a body you’re trying to dominate.

When I didn’t understand my chart, every trigger felt like a flaw.

Now? It feels like data.

And that shift changes everything.

Let’s start with astrology.

Not horoscope astrology.
 Not “today will be lucky.”

I’m talking about psychological pattern mapping.

I’m a Cancer Sun. Emotional depth is baseline.

I also have an Aries Moon in the 12th house.

That means fast emotional activation — sometimes unconscious.

Translation?

I feel quickly.
 I process privately.
 And if I’m not aware, I react before I realize I’m reacting.

That’s not instability.

That’s wiring.

I have Scorpio in my 7th house.

Of course relationships activate intensity.
 Of course trust runs deep.
 Of course surface-level connection feels empty.

For years I thought I was “too much.”

But astrology didn’t excuse my behavior.

It gave me language.

And language reduces shame.

The brain goes into defense when it perceives threat.

Self-rejection is a threat.

Self-understanding is safety.

And safety creates regulation.

Now let’s talk Human Design.

I’m a Manifesting Generator.

I move fast. I pivot fast. I get excited fast.

And for most of my life, I thought something was wrong with me.

Why do I get obsessed with something and then pivot?

Why do I change direction?

But I’m designed to respond — not force.

And for years, I forced.

I initiated from fear.
 I pushed from scarcity.
 I said yes from obligation.

Then I burned out.
 Then I shamed myself.
 Then I tried to mindset my way out of exhaustion.

That cycle isn’t lack of discipline.

It’s chronic dysregulation.

Your body does not care about your vision board.

It cares about safety.

If you’re constantly initiating when you’re meant to respond —
 or forcing clarity when you’re meant to wait —

your nervous system revolts.

Not because you’re weak.

Because you’re misaligned.

And misalignment feels like threat.

Here’s something that might challenge you:

Not every emotion requires a solution.

Clarity doesn’t live at emotional extremes.

It lives in neutrality.

But we live in a culture that worships urgency.

Urgency is not intuition.

Urgency is usually adrenaline.

And adrenaline is not wisdom.

When I learned to pause — not suppress, but pause — my emotional life stabilized.

Not because I became less emotional.

Because I became less reactive.

And less reactive is regulation.

Now here’s the part that might sting.

Some “be delusional” advice in manifestation spaces is just spiritualized dissociation.

If your body is panicking —
 if your chest is tight —
 if your stomach is clenched —

Repeating affirmations without regulation isn’t alignment.

It’s override.

And override leads to collapse.

Astrology and Human Design gave me permission to stop overriding.

To say:

“Oh. This is my Moon.”
 “Oh. This is a pattern.”
 “Oh. I’m trying to force.”

And instead of attacking myself —

I adjusted.

That adjustment is power.

You are not emotional.
You are not broken.
You are not behind.

You’re likely operating without a manual.

Astrology is the map.
 Human Design is the mechanics.
 Nervous system work is embodiment.

When you decode yourself, you reduce internal war.

And internal peace is the most magnetic state you can live from.

Not forced positivity.
 Not suppression.

Safety.

And safety allows you to receive.

So instead of trying to fix yourself this week — explore yourself.

Here are your journal prompts:

  1. What emotion do I judge most harshly in myself — and what do I believe it says about me?
  2. Where did I learn that this emotion was “too much”?
  3. When I get triggered, what story do I immediately tell myself?
  4. What part of my design might explain this pattern? (Start with your Moon sign.)
  5. What would change if I viewed my reactions as data instead of defects?

And the mic-drop question:

What if there is nothing wrong with me — only something I haven’t understood yet?

Answer these slowly.
Answer them honestly.
Answer them without trying to evolve past your humanity.

The goal isn’t to become less emotional.

It’s to become emotionally literate.

Decode first.
 Regulate second.
 Manifest from stability.

That order changes everything.
