Hey everyone! My story started in the classroom as a special education teacher. That path led me to become a school district technology leader and even the Minnesota Cybersecurity State Coordinator for CISA, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, which is under the Department of Homeland Security. Crazy, right? It's taught me that every journey is different, and that's exactly how cybersecurity should be, approachable for everyone no matter their background. My name is Jen Lotzi, and I work for IT Audit Labs in St. Paul, Minnesota. My mission is to help all types of organizations create a culture of safety and security where it's everyone's job to protect themselves and their organization from criminals. Because let's be honest, these criminals want to turn a perfectly good day into a miserable few days, weeks, or even years. In addition, I just like helping others keep themselves and their friends and family safe from the very real threats in the digital world. Of course, my other passion, hunting for the best coffee shops, the communities they build, the coffee they make, and the vibes they share are everything I love. That's why I created Sip Cyber, the podcast that brings together a cute coffee shop and a decaffeinated cybersecurity tip so you can protect yourself and the people you care about the most. Let's get brewing!
