Guided Meditation To Build Self-Trust And Calm Doubt
Welcome to practice. Take a moment to get really nice and comfortable here. You might choose to complete this meditation laying down or seated wherever you can be comfortable for the next few minutes. This meditation is here to guide you deeper into that space that exists within you that allows you to connect with feeling a deep sense of trust. Wherever you've chosen, allow your spine to be nice and long. And if it feels okay for you in this moment, you can close down your eyes. Otherwise, just finding a very soft gaze out in front. And then beginning to bring your awareness to your breathing. Allowing your breath to almost become like this anchor for your mind. Your mind simply watching the breath. Every breath in and every breath out. The breath in, allowing the body to begin to expand. The breath out, just allowing the body to begin to soften. Breathing in, the body expands. Breathing out, the body softens all the way back down. Allowing your awareness to move with your breath. To take your awareness out of the mind and into the body with each round of breath. Catching yourself if you wander off and just pulling your attention back with that thread of your breath. Perhaps allowing your breath to become a little more spacious. A little more free as it moves through your system. Now gently bring your awareness to your heart space. You might even like to place a hand there if that allows you to connect in with that space. Notice the rise and fall of your chest beneath your palm. Notice this feeling of warmth in your heart. The aliveness that radiates from this space. Connecting in with this beautiful space of your heart now. And from this space of connection, I'd love for you to bring to mind an area of your life where you've perhaps been hesitating. Maybe you've been doubting yourself, waiting for clarity, maybe asking others for reassurance. There's no need to judge or to try and fix it. Just noticing. Maybe it feels like a tightness in your chest, a flutter in your belly, or even a heaviness around your shoulders. Notice where this feeling lives in your body. And as you begin to notice, see if you can imagine your breath flowing to that space. Almost like your breath were creating an openness around it. What do I already know? What is my truth? Listen with no rush. Just allow whatever comes to the surface. Maybe a word or a feeling, or even just a knowing. Trust whatever arises. Your only job right now is to listen. To remember that your body, your heart, your intuition, they already know. As you continue to breathe here, imagine now a soft golden light traveling from wherever this sensation is living in your body and spreading from that center to every other crevice in your physical vessel. Expanding out into every limb, up to the crown of your head, all the way down to your toes. With each breath, this beautiful golden light grows stronger. It moves through your chest, your arms, belly, your legs, your whole being. This light is your self-trust. It's the energy of remembering that you already hold the wisdom you seek. That you don't need the perfect moment, the perfect plan. You only need to trust what's true for you right now. Repeating these mantras in your mind's eye now. I trust what I know. I trust what I feel. I trust what I desire. I trust myself. Breathing that in. Take a final deep breath in together. And a long breath out. When you're ready, holding this truth in your heart, you can begin to reopen your eyes as you move from this space of meditation and into the rest of your day.
