The GA Wellness Podcast With Georgia Ann
The GA Wellness Podcast
Hosted by Georgia Ann
The GA Wellness Podcast is the go-to space for women who are juggling a full life and craving real, sustainable wellness that actually fits into the chaos, not on top of it.
Hosted by Georgia Ann, wellness coach, former group fitness instructor and creator of the HNSF Method. This warm, down-to-earth show is for the woman who can lead a meeting, soothe a meltdown and throw dinner together in 20 minutes, but hasn’t had five quiet minutes to herself all day. We lovingly call that woman a Busy Bella and if that sounds familiar, this podcast was made with her in mind.
Each week, Georgia brings heartfelt stories, gentle guidance and science-backed strategies grounded in the four pillars of the GA Wellness philosophy: Hydration, Nutrition, Self-care and Fitness. These episodes go beyond quick fixes and offer tools to help women regulate their nervous systems, rebuild their energy and reconnect with their bodies.
There’s no hustle culture here, just real talk, relatable support and small shifts that lead to lasting change. With journal prompts, mini challenges, advice from experts and encouragement from a growing community, listeners are invited to move step by step from Busy Bella to Balanced Bella.
Whether tuning in on a lunch break, commuting to work, during school pickup, during soccer practice or in the quiet moments before bed, women will feel seen, supported and reminded that they are not alone and they are not behind.
This isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing what
truly supports you in the season you are in.

The HNSF Life Balance: Bringing It Together
Over the last five episodes, we have explored the four pillars of the HNSF Method. Today we bring them together and look at what happens when hydration, nutrition, self-care and fitness begin to support each other in your real, everyday life.
This episode weaves through my own story of burnout, rebuilding and learning how these four pillars shape how you feel, how you show up and what becomes possible. When your internal world is supported, your external world begins to shift too. This is where wellness becomes less about doing more and more about living with clarity, steadiness and intention.

The GA Wellness Podcast – Small Steps, Lasting Change
Georgia Ann:
Opening
What if thriving didn't mean completely starting over or overhauling your entire life, but simply weaving wellness into the everyday moments you already have? What if hydration, nutrition, self-care and fitness weren't four more things on your focus list, but quiet guiding threads that move with you throughout your day?
Here's the truth, when your internal world is aligned, your external world starts to shift too. Wellness isn't some far off luxury it's actually the launch pad for the life you actually want to live.
Podcast Intro
Welcome to the GA Wellness podcast, Small Steps, Lasting Change. I'm your host, Georgia Ann, health coach, solo mum and a woman who's lived through the chaos, the curveballs and the craving for something steadier. After 20 years in the fitness industry and my own journey through grief, motherhood and starting over, I've learned that real wellness isn't about doing more. It's about doing what matters. Each week, we cut through the noise and get real with simple, doable tools to help you feel stronger, calmer and more like you. This isn't about perfection. It's about steady soul led progress because you deserve wellness that fits into your full life, not just one version of it. Let's dive in.
Welcome Back and Today’s Focus
Welcome back to the GA Wellness Podcast, lovely. I'm Georgia Ann and today we're bringing it all together.
Over the past five episodes, we've explored the four pillars of the HNSF method, Hydration, Nutrition, Self-care and Fitness. We've gone deep into what each one really means, how it supports your nervous system and how it fits into the real, beautiful, full world that you're currently living.
Here's the next layer of the conversation. Wellness doesn't live in silos, these pillars are not meant to be checked off one at a time and then forgotten. They're actually meant to flow together to become a rhythm, a lifestyle, a gentle return to yourself.
Today we're talking about integration. How the HNSF method can help you create balance not just in your body, but in your relationships, your work, your sense of purpose and how you show up every day because when you feel good on the inside, it radiates outwards.
So let's dig into what living the HNSF life really looks like and how you can bring it to life in your own way. Starting right now. You ready? Let's go.
Quick Check-In on Last Week’s Movement
Last week we spoke about fitness, not about some chore on your power list, but as a way to reconnect with your energy, your power and your joy.
I want to ask, how did your 20 minutes a day go? Did you sneak in a walk between calls, dance it out in the kitchen, maybe stretch before bed? Or even did you break it up during the time?
Did anything surprise you in terms of what you felt you were able to fit in? If it didn't go quite as planned, that's okay as well.
This journey isn't about getting it right. It's more about noticing, paying attention and even realising what didn't feel good is actually a step closer to learning what your body and soul are actually asking for and that kind of awareness, that's actually real progress.
So, let's take a soft breath together before we dive in. Inhale and exhale.
Zooming Out
We're actually going to zoom out for a second.
Over the last five weeks, we've gently explored the four pillars of the HNSF method and how each one builds on top of the other. Each one is really a love note to your nervous system and now we're going to bring it all together.
Today we're talking about everything we've uncovered and we're going to stitch it into the life that actually supports you. A life that flows, not one that fights for balance at every turn.
Let's take a look back, reflect on how far we've come and explore how these pieces work together to create real, sustainable changes, not just in your wellness, but in your work, your relationships, your energy, your peace.
Recap of the Four Pillars
Okay, so let's walk this journey back for a moment because you have really come so far.
We kicked things off with hydration in episode two and at first glance, it must have felt like, yeah, yeah, Georgia, I get to drink more water but it is so much more than that.
Hydration is how we whisper to our bodies first thing in the morning, you're safe, you matter and I'm here. It's not just checking off your litres, it's about creating a sense of groundness because when you're well hydrated, your brain works better, your digestion flows smoother, your mood lifts and your whole system feels more supported.
It's like tending to the soil before planting anything. Without that foundation, nothing can really thrive.
Then episode three is when we talked about nutrition and no, we didn't talk about tracking macros or we didn't talk about really overhauling our food. We took a more loving, curious approach.
We looked at food as a conversation between you and your body and how every bite is feedback, every meal is information. You learned how your gut is basically a second brain, how your microbiome is like this tiny behind the scenes symphony, shaping everything from your immunity to your emotions.
Food became more than just fuel, it became a love language, a way to honour your needs one plate at a time.
By episode four, things got tender. We talked about self-care and no, we didn't just talk about spa days. We talked about the kind of care that meant coming to your deepest need. Emotional safety, nervous system regulation.
We unlearned some of the noise that tells us it's selfish to rest and instead, we began to reframe care as a skill, something you practise, something you deserve because when you start to care for your inner world, that's when the real healing begins.
Then came episode five, our movement moment, but again, we didn't go to the traditional route. We didn't talk about calories burnt or step counts or gym memberships, we talked about joy.
We reframe fitness as a way to come back to yourself, as a celebration, a remembering. A slow, steady reunion with your strength. Whether it's dancing, walking, lifting, stretching, whatever it looked like for you, movement became something sacred again, something that lifts, not drains.
So each of these episodes gave you a piece of the puzzle but the real beauty is how they feel fit together.
When you hydrate well, your system wakes up with ease. When you nourish intentionally, you support your mood, your hormones, your energy. When you care for your nervous system, everything flows more calmly and when you move with love, you generate momentum that touches everything else. Your work, relationships and your sense of purpose.
So that's where we're at today because when your internal world is in sync, your external world starts to reflect the same harmony so wellness isn't a luxury, it's your launch pad.
My Story and Why This Matters
This is how we're going to start to bring it all together and if you've been here from the beginning, lovely, you'll know this isn't just something I teach. This is my personal story. This is my life.
For a long time, I wasn't in alignment at all. Sure, I'd love fitness. I'd show up, smash the workouts, push through the burn, tick all the boxes and I mean, from the outside, it probably looked like I had it together, but inside, I was running on empty.
I'd go hours, sometimes whole days, barely drinking any water, then wonder why I felt foggy or flat or my body just couldn't keep up. I was showing up for the sweat, but I wasn't fuelling myself for the life I was living.
As for nutrition. I'd fallen for all the trends, the restrictive diets, the guilt, the good food versus bad food mentality. I didn't know that food was one of the clearest ways my body was trying to talk to me and I just wasn't listening.
Then self-care, or to be honest, like the absence of it, I used to think self-care was a luxury, like something you do if you had time left over, which I mean, I never did. I thought I was strong because I could push through the exhaustion, keep everything else and keep everyone else afloat and still somehow showed up with a smile. What I didn't realise is that my body was slowly waving the white flag.
Then I became a mum and if I'm being honest with you, that belief that everyone else comes first just got louder. I poured everything into my daughter, my family, my work and let myself scraping the bottle of the barrel.
Here's the thing I had to unlearn and it's a big one, when I'm constantly depleted, deregulated or disconnected, I can't show up as the version of me I want to be. Not for my family, not for my co-workers, not for myself.
This whole journey, the one I've been walking right alongside you, has been about letting go. Letting go of perfection, letting go of people pleasing, letting go of the belief that needing rest of nourishment somehow makes me weak and learning over and over again that I deserve to feel good, that I need to be well resourced and regulated in order to live full, joyful life that I'm here for.
That is what led me to create the HNSF method. Not from a textbook, but from lived experience, from trial and error, from burning out and building back, from asking what does it actually look like to be well when life is full? Of course it's backed by science as well.
Maslow’s Pyramid Through a Wellness Lens
As you've heard mention, the bones of the HNSF method are rooted in Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, which is the pyramid that we've been talking about.
When our most basic needs have met, we can reach for things like connection, purpose and joy and Maslow was absolutely right. We're going to revisit this together, but we're actually going to look at it through our wellness lens.
Our physiological needs, these are the basics. The non negotiables think water, food, sleep, rest and that's exactly where we started with the HNSF method with hydration and nutrition.
When we skip these, everything else feels harder. We're tired, foggy, snappy. We can't think clearly or show up how we want to because our body's literally running on empty and this is why these are our foundations.
Safety needs. Now this one's big. Not just physical safety, but the emotional safety as well and this is where self-care comes in. It's about boundaries, nervous system regulation, creating space where you feel safe to rest and just be.
When we don't feel safe, everything gets tight. When we do feel safe, everything starts to soften.
Love and belonging. Connection, friendship, intimacy, community. Those soul nourishing relationships that remind us that we're not alone and that's why we're building community within GA Wellness. Whether it's this podcast in your ears, the Facebook group or group coaching in the future, it matters because were never meant to do this solo. Healing, growth and joy, they all happen in connection.
Esteem, needs. So, this is where confidence lives, self respect, feeling proud of ourselves and here's where fitness has its moment. Not fitness for aesthetics or punishment, but movement that makes you feel alive and capable. When you move with joy, when you lift something heavy or dance in your lounge room, you remember your strength. You build trust with yourself.
Self-actualisation. This is where it starts to click into place. Purpose, creativity, alignment. This is the HNSF method in full swing. When all four pillars are working together and you're feeling energised, supported and deeply you're not surviving, you're thriving. You start making decisions from a place of clarity and confidence and you feel in flow.
Transcendence, so this is the very top of the pyramid. Maslow actually added this later on in life, it’s that feeling of being part of something bigger than just you, of giving back, making an impact, living out your values in your work, relationships and legacy. It's when your life starts to ripple. That sense of meaning, that's transcendence.
Here's the beautiful truth, lovely. When your internal world is aligned, when you're hydrated, nourished, cared for and moving with intention, your external world starts to shift. Things like money, career, relationships, creativity, they all start to rise with you because when you rise, everything else follows and that's where we're leaning into next.
How Internal Alignment Changes Your Life
Let's have a real chat about it and let's unpack how this inner alignment starts to quietly reshape not just how you feel, but how you live because once you're in sync on the inside, the outside, it starts clicking into place bit by bit. Not forcing, just flow.
So, let's start with money. When your nervous system is regulated, your brain's clearer, you're not stuck in that survival mode and every decision doesn’t feel heavy or urgent. Instead, you've got space to respond with intention, not impulse.
That might look like planning your budget instead of avoiding it. Saying no to the thing that drains you, saying yes to the thing that lights you up. It's also where you start valuing your time, asking for the pay rise, raising your prices if you run your own biz, not because you're being bold for bold's sake, but because you're resourced. You're not leaking energy. You've come home to yourself.
Then there's career. When your body's well-nourished and your mind's not stuck in overdrive, creativity wakes up. You show up to work, not just to tick the boxes, but to lead. You think bigger. You problem solve better. You collaborate without burning out. You've got energy to offer because you've been filling your own cup. Your job stops feeling like something that you're dragging yourself through and starts feeling like something that you're growing inside of. You shift from survival to starting to contribute.
Next is relationships. Okay, this one's deep. Here's what I've learned the hard way. You can only meet people as deeply as you've met yourself and when you're running on fumes, everything feels hard. You're short, you're overwhelmed. You're saying ‘yes’ when you mean ‘no’. You're carrying everyone else and losing yourself in the process.
When you're well fed, hydrated, rested and emotionally safe, everything shifts. You start speaking up. You start setting soft but strong boundaries. You love more deeply without disappearing. You stop proving and start being. You become magnetic, not because you've added more to your plate, but because you've finally taken the stuff off that never belonged to you in the first place.
Honestly, this is what I'm working on right now, in real time, as a mum, as a woman, as someone who's still peeling back the layers of that old belief that says everyone else should come first.
Now I'm modelling something new for my daughter. I'm showing her that self-care isn't selfish, it's sacred. That her needs matter and that taking up space isn't dangerous, it's powerful and I'm only able to teach that to her because I'm slowly learning it myself.
Finally, self fulfilment. This is where it all comes together. Self-fulfilment isn't some shiny finish line that you cross once you've done all the things. It's that quiet, steady sense of this on my life. It's waking up in a body you feel connected to. It's living in alignment with your values. It's feeling proud of the woman in the mirror, not because she's perfect, but because she's honest, she's real and she's home.
That's what transcendence feels like when you're no longer creating from lack of, but from overflow. When you're not just existing but contributing. When you're not chasing a life, you're living it.
That, my love, is what the HNSF method is really about. Not hustle, not pressure, not some unrealistic version of wellness perfection, but possibility. Tiny sustainable choices, moments of reconnection, bringing your internal world into alignment so the external world finally reflects the peace, the joy and the deep purpose you were always meant to experience. Babe, you're already on your way.
The Weekly Challenge: A Daily Wellness Check-In
Now that we've connected all the dots and had a heart to heart about how inner alignment shifts everything, I've got a little challenge for you. This one's different though. It's grounded and honestly, it's more about awareness than action.
Here's what I want you to think about for the next seven days. I want you to have a little wellness check in.
So if you've got a cute little notebook in your bag or a post-it near the kettle, or even a note on your phone, whatever works for you each day, just take a moment, maybe over your morning cuppa or while winding down at night, ask yourself,
How am I feeling today? What feels in flow, what feels a little off? Did I do one thing, big or small, that supported my alignment today?
That one thing could look like drinking an extra glass of water even though you really weren't in the mood. Eating a nourishing brekkie that actually gave you energy. Taking three deep breaths before replying to an email, saying no to the catch up you weren't ready for. Putting on your favourite song and dancing around the kitchen because your body needed to move.
Or maybe it's just that tiny flicker of awareness. Realising something just feels off and jotting it down.
Whatever comes up, write it down. No pressure, no judgement, just curiosity.
This is where transformation starts, not in a big dramatic moves, but these small, powerful check ins with yourself.
So you're learning to listen, you're learning to trust and best of all, you're learning that your wellbeing is something you build by each moment that you take.
Closing and Invitation
You spent the last five episodes learning how to reconnect with your body, nourish your mind and reclaim your power and this week, you got to witness all that in motion.
You're not just learning anymore, you're living it. You're starting to feel what's possible when you've got support, community and a framework like the HNSF method holding it together.
Remember, my love, you don't have to do everything, you just need to begin. Let the first little step show you what's next.
I honestly can't wait to hear what comes up for you. Truly.
Just a little reminder from me to you, when your internal world is aligned, your external world starts to shift. Wellness isn't some fancy, unreachable ideal. It's your launch pad, your home base, your anchor.
If something stirred in you today, if you've ever felt a whisper of I'm ready for more, I’d love, for you to join us into something a little bit deeper.
So group coaching is where it all clicks into place. It's where we take everything we've talked about hydration, nutrition, self-care and fitness and weave it into your life. Your rhythm, your season, your reality because you were never meant to figure this out on your own.
Inside a safe, supportive community, change doesn't feel so heavy. It feels doable, empowering, sometimes fun. Yes, we do have a lot of fun.
If your heart's leaning in, come join my email list. You'll get soulful freebies, behind the scenes support and the first to know when the next round of group coaching opens with early access before anyone else.
This is only beginning because next week we're diving into something big, habit formation. Why some habits stick like glue and others fall apart by Wednesday. How your brain is wired for routines and how to make that wiring work for you, not against you.
We'll unpack the science behind behaviour change and how you learn how to build habits that actually last. Habits that feel aligned, nourishing and kind to your nervous system and because when you're in harmony, the outside also starts to shift as well.
You've got this and I'm so glad you're here and this is where the real rewiring begins and I'm so pumped to walk that with you.
So until then, take care of that beautiful, sacred inner world of yours.
