As a Urology physician, Alexandr Pinkhasov, MD, is dedicated to enriching lives through expert care. Dr. Pinkhasov’s professional interests include men’s health, genitourinary trauma and reconstruction, infertility, kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), kidney cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, hematuria, and elevated prostate-specific antigen (PSA).

As a Urogynecologist in the Obstetrics and Gynecology department, Chris Klingele, MD, is dedicated to enriching lives through expert care. Dr. Klingele has been with OMC since 2020 and specializes in diagnosing and treating patients with pelvic floor disorders including urinary incontinence (leakage of urine) and pelvic organ prolapse (dropping of pelvic organs). Dr. Klingele’s method of care includes evaluations, medications, physical therapy, and fluid management, as well as both surgical and non-surgical procedures for various conditions. Dr. Klingele values the friendly, family-oriented, stress-free environment OMC offers and is rewarded by the progress and improvement his patients make on their journey to better health. He wants his patients to feel comfortable and says, “I try to reassure women that pelvic health issues are very common. A lot of their friends and family members also have these problems, and we want women to feel comfortable talking about it.”

As a urologic surgeon, Elizabeth Olive, MD is dedicated to enriching lives through expert care. Dr. Olive's professional interests include comprehensive surgical and medical care for conditions of the urinary tract and male reproductive system. She performs a variety of diagnostics, minimally invasive treatments, and surgeries in clinic and in the operating room for conditions including enlarged prostate (BPH) and urination problems, urinary incontinence and overactive bladder, cancer (prostate, kidney, bladder, testicular), scrotal conditions, stones of the kidney and bladder, blood in the urine, male sexual and reproductive concerns, and others. Dr. Olive values creating a comfortable, empowering environment for patients to discuss topics that might feel sensitive or embarrassing. She emphasizes educating patients about their conditions and working together to make a plan. She is grateful to serve her hometown community through Urology at OMC.

Heidi J. Gaston, DO, is committed to providing full spectrum women's health care. She values developing relationships with her patients and creating a plan together to address their concerns. Her services include care for women during pregnancy - from prenatal visits to deliveries to postpartum care; and gynecologic care including preventative care like contraception and health maintenance visits, as well as addressing problems like abnormal uterine bleeding, postmenopausal bleeding and abnormal pap smears. "As an Ob/Gyn, I have the honor of helping women navigate their health journey as a partner through all stages of life. I love the continuity of care that our specialty and a community practice can provide for women," Dr. Gaston says.

As a Plastic Surgeon, Mahsa Moghaddam Smoot, MD, is dedicated to enriching lives through expert care. Born in Tehran, Iran, she moved to Rome, Italy, as a young child and later relocated with her family to the United States in 1991. She chose to pursue medicine because of her love of anatomy and physiology and her desire to help others in their time of need. Dr. Smoot returned to Minnesota in 2013 and practiced in the Twin Cities before joining the team at Olmsted Medical Center. She enjoys working with both children and adults and lives locally with her family. Dr. Smoot is fluent in English, Italian, and Farsi.
