Tongalag Liu, known as Tea, is an entrepreneur whose work spans beauty, technology, and the exploration of modern love. Born into a Mongolian family in northern China, lived on three continents and is now based in the U.S. her cross-cultural background shapes how she understands love across values, generations, and modern dating realities.
Driven by both heartbreak and curiosity, Tea began studying love and relationships over 15 years ago. What started as an intellectual interest became a cross-disciplinary inquiry, drawing from psychology, attachment theory, mating dynamics, communication, modern matchmaking, and lived experience beyond any single framework.
Through navigating contemporary dating, Tea developed a grounded perspective on how people choose, connect, and commit today. She believes love becomes more possible when we move beyond assumptions and build emotional fluency. That belief is at the heart of The Dating Chit.
