Thembi Duncan is an award-winning theatre practitioner, educator, and speaker with over 25 years of experience captivating audiences through storytelling, performance, and insightful discourse. Known for her warmth, authenticity, and commanding stage presence, she has served as a keynote speaker, panel moderator, workshop presenter, and event host for organizations in Washington, D.C., New York City, Western New York, and beyond.


Thembi thrives in spaces where arts, education, and technology converge to inspire action and change. She holds a B.A. in Theatre, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Maryland and an M.S. in Instructional Design and Educational Technology from SUNY Potsdam.

Dr. Charles M. Reigeluth

Dr. Charles M. Reigeluth is a distinguished educational researcher and consultant
focused on paradigm change in education. He has a B.A. in economics from
Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in instructional psychology from Brigham Young
University. He taught high-school science, was a professor at Syracuse
University, was a professor in the School of Education at Indiana University for
25 years and is currently a professor emeritus at Indiana University. He facilitated a paradigm change effort in a small school district in Indianapolis for
11 years. Two of his recent books are Vision and Action: Reinventing Schools
through Personalized Competency-Based Education (www.reigeluth.net/vision-
and-action); Reinventing Schools: It’s Time to Break the Mold. They chronicle and
offer guidance for a national transformation in K-12 education to the learner-
centered, competency-based paradigm. He offers presentations and consulting
on this topic.
