Homeopath in your pocket: Natural Health Solutions for Busy Mums
Homeopath in your pocket is the essential podcast for busy working mums who want to take control of their family's health with confidence—without spending hours researching or second-guessing every decision.
Hosted by Neela Prabhu, a licensed homeopath and mum of two girls with 26 years of combined healthcare experience, this show delivers straightforward, actionable guidance you can implement immediately.
After spending 20 years as a pharmacist, Neela transitioned to homeopathy six years ago because she saw firsthand how families were searching for natural, effective solutions that work alongside modern life. Each episode delivers practical insights into:
Managing common childhood ailments naturally, building your family's natural first aid toolkit, supporting your own health through life's demanding phases, understanding when to use homeopathy and when to seek other care, and creating sustainable health routines that actually fit into real life.
Listeners can expect answers to questions like:
How do I handle my child's recurring ear infections naturally? What should I keep in my homeopathic first aid kit? How can I support my family's immune system during cold and flu season? And welcome to the home of health in your pocket. Welcome to Mum. Discover how to support a family's health with confidence. I'm your heart. As a mum of two, I totally understand. You can use today to support your family's wealth. And I'll treat it. I have to recover quickly. It's winter. If you're suffering with flu. So we like we're talking about influenza or flu. As we call it in Utah. Influenza is a very common for our illness. It's more common in the winter months. Oh, you can have flu more than once. Even if you add it before I temperature quite an eight importate and not softly, I'll try it. And lots of up. And that's a pretty long time. So today I'll be explaining the difference between having cold and having fluid. I'm talking about white and button creatures and not ideal. I'll also be carrying an approach treatment and flute. So let's get started. So the difference between a cold and a flute. And people can often get confused between the two. I have a mobile fever or no fever at all. I have a sort of fruit that you have a honey or a hot throat or anything that you have a sore throat, a head and a loss of smell, and loss of taste as well. Things tend to taste a bit like wet sore dust. And it generally lasts from about three to seven days. But with a cold, you can still continue daily activities. You might feel a bit rough, but you can get on with things. If you're suffering from flu, you can't do those daily activities. I mean, I don't know if it's a bit more than a little bit.
