Haus Tour
Haus Tour is a new podcast hosted by John and Dakota where we dive into whatever’s on our minds, from drag and pop culture to real estate and everyday life. Some weeks it’s just the two of us, and other times we bring on guests we’re genuinely curious about. Our goal is to give our guests a space to share their story, their work, and what makes them unique in a fun, relaxed setting. It’s less of a formal interview and more like sitting down for a great chat with friends.

We originally sat down with a list of 5 minor things that annoy us... but once the microphones turned on, the floodgates completely opened. This week on Haus Tour, John and Dakota are airing out their biggest everyday pet peeves, petty grievances, and public frustrations.
From people in public with absolutely zero sense of urgency to the infuriating things realtors do, bad drivers on the road, and basic social etiquette violations—no one is safe. Are we just getting more dramatic, or has public behavior officially crossed the line? Grab a drink, lock your doors, and join the Haus for an unfiltered rant session!
Alright, kids, welcome back. That was really aggressive. Alright, kids. Welcome back to another episode of House Tour. My name is Dakota. And I'm John. I was gonna give the full government name, but then I realized I didn't want people who listen to this to know my full government name.
SPEAKER_00But I thought you were doing this so that you could get like advertisement for your business.
SPEAKER_01I was gonna use like both my middle names. Oh. So I'll just say this. It's Dakota NW Pitts.
SPEAKER_00Second one's for Sir William. No, not.
SPEAKER_01We'll talk about it off the pod. Westerly. I wish. They're both really okay, no offense to my grandfather whose name it is. Norman. Yes, it's Norman. That's actually my uncle who is unfortunately no longer with. I have a dead uncle too. Wow. Alright. Carrying on. Today we are going to talk about okay, so a little bit of background on us. John and I are a bit I would say pessimistic. But we get annoyed easily.
SPEAKER_00I don't see. I my mother did not raise a quitter, but she did raise a complainer.
SPEAKER_01T that.
SPEAKER_00Like I that. And the thing is, like, I could be complaining about something, and I'm having a great time. Like, I I just there's just something about complaining. It's fun.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Especially if you're complaining with your friends. You're like, ugh. Just like a shared trauma. So today we each came up with a list of five minor things that annoy the heck out of us. And we're gonna talk about them. So why don't you go first? What is your What's something that annoys you, John? People who No.
SPEAKER_00My first one is people who get behind you in the fast lane and flash their lights at you even though you're going the same speed as the car in front of you.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Absolutely the worst. That would be on my list.
SPEAKER_00I'm like, I'm do you think can I go fast? Like, I guess what they want me to do is like move out of the way so then they can flash their lights at the next person, blah blah blah. Sorry, that's just not how life works.
SPEAKER_01Like go around.
SPEAKER_00Go around. Like I I understand, like you wanna, but I also like I don't really understand the lore behind the fast lane because like you're supposed to only go a certain speed. So like these people shouldn't be going 140 anyway. If I'm going fucking 125, you really shouldn't be able to squeeze by at 140. I'm sorry, I don't think it's against the law. And and I I'm also like, I'm going as fast as I can.
SPEAKER_01Someone very close to me in my personal life is guilty of this. Ryan. Ryan loves to flash his lights at people. Really?
SPEAKER_00Loves it. It's always the ones who in person are like very meek.
SPEAKER_01Mikey meek.
SPEAKER_00That are Mikey meeks that are gonna be like all of a sudden have like this big Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_01He has some big I don't want to say road rage, but he has a lot of feelings while he's driving.
SPEAKER_00Do you know that I like sometimes I'll find that I'm like this is specific like because I understand when people flash their lights at me when there's one uh there's no one in front of me. Yeah. But sometimes I'm just in a mood where I'm like, nah, I'm gonna stay here. Like if if they're if they're like if they come right up behind me and they're I'll be petty and they're right on my ass and they're flashing, let me let me slow right down to 105 kilometers an hour and let me just sit here and make you go around.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I would do the same thing. Because fuck you. This is my world.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and also like I know it's annoying, but I don't care.
SPEAKER_01Just go around. And also, like, it's not that big of a deal.
SPEAKER_00I also drive a lot, so like it's the small pleasures when you're driving. And and sometimes, oh, have I ever told you this story? I can't remember what I did, but this woman was really mad at me for something. I think I cut I think I like merged in front of her or whatever. I don't know what I was doing, but then she got so mad that she like drove around me and then went in front of me and slammed her brakes on to try and start an accident.
SPEAKER_01Break check, yeah.
SPEAKER_00So I was like, what the fuck? Lights go on behind me. She gets pulled over.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00And as I'm going by, I was like, I would have just given her a little honk. Well, no, because the cop was there.
SPEAKER_01I still would have given her a little honk. Uh yeah.
SPEAKER_00No, that was great. Uh so yeah, I don't try me because I always have time.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Especially if you're just gonna be a- Unless I don't have time, and then and I'm also if I'm one thing, I'm a hypocrite. Because if I'm late for something and somebody's in front of me, like get out of my way.
SPEAKER_01You're flashing your lights at them. I never flash my lights. You never flash your lights.
SPEAKER_00I don't like it.
SPEAKER_01I don't like it either.
SPEAKER_00It's just like But I do love a honk. Like, I don't honk in that situation. Mark gets mad because I if I'm sitting at a light, and I I don't mind if I don't mind if you honk at me at a light because I'm looking at my phone, obviously. Well, so give me a little beep, that's fine. Mark Mark hates the beep. I'm like, beep. He's like, they're gonna- I'm like, no, you don't have to be. It's it's a millennial thing. We're all checking our phones thing.
SPEAKER_01I don't even think it's just millennials. I think in today's day and age, everyone is on their phone at the at the stoplight. I think that's true. Not me, of course, because I don't break the law. Me neither. But I assume other people I assume other people do that. Yeah, I've I've seen it. I've seen it happen. Okay, so my first one actually goes kind of well with this. People with no urgency in public.
SPEAKER_00Oh, straight people walking.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. That's why, like or just at the grocery store or like anything. Like, I've got a job to do. I'm here to get something done.
SPEAKER_00There should be a different line for people that have time. Like, and it's like when I was at Pride this weekend, it's just different when you're around mostly queer people because people move faster. Yeah. Also, I think I'm adding this to my list, but no, I think it's too controversial. You can delete it if it's controversial. People at Pride who are out full schlong. No, no. I I I personally think like Pride is for expression, blah blah. I don't need to see anybody's penis.
SPEAKER_01It's not wholesome. It's not fulsome.
SPEAKER_00No, exactly. And it's like, I don't know. I just think like wear a jock strap.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Or yeah.
SPEAKER_00And I I'm not the person to be like, there's kids here, but like during the day, four o'clock, like someone wants to bring their kids down down to pride.
SPEAKER_01There's a big, big schlong popping around, like what's even worse, a little schlong out in public.
SPEAKER_00And I'm gonna be honest, they're never the ones I want to see. No, it's always it's never like perfect 10 walking down the street with a like absolutely heavy nine-inch earth. Like, no, that's not Wow. Okay, maybe cut that part out.
SPEAKER_01No, I will not be doing that. Um, yeah, no, I agree. You should not have your penis out, you should not be naked at Pride. There are events in which you can go, I'm sure, at Pride. Nude Beach. Nude Beach, or I'm sure there's parties and stuff at Pride that you can go and if that's your thing, if public nudity is your thing, find an appropriate location. I agree, pride is not that.
SPEAKER_00Okay, what's yours? What's your first one?
SPEAKER_01I literally already said it. People with no urgency. Oh, with no urgency, yeah. We just kind of off track.
SPEAKER_00I hate that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I just need you My father.
SPEAKER_00I'm just gonna say it. Like, we don't really go anywhere together anymore, but anytime he's walking. And he's he's 76, so like I get it, but I want I need people to know that he's always been this slow. Like, he when he when he was 46, he walked this slow. And like I I guess we're not technically in a rush, but like I don't want to walk at your speed.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_00Also, my husband, I'm gonna say my husband's a slow walker.
SPEAKER_01And yeah, but I feel like Mark's just never in a rush for anything.
SPEAKER_00He is never in a rush for anything.
SPEAKER_01That is Mark.
SPEAKER_00See, yes, fair, but like I I do feel like Yeah, maybe I'm just used to it. I feel like he probably has urgency for like things that need urgency.
SPEAKER_01But I feel like he's like a peruser.
SPEAKER_00Oh, he's a peruser for sure. If you need urgency, yeah, but he definitely like we shop in different ways.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00We we honest but honestly, I think that because we're so different in so many ways, I think that's kind of why it works because I said this to him yesterday, like I'm so anal about everything, and he's so not that like I don't think I could be with someone who's as anal as me, and I don't think he would survive with someone as laxodasical as him. So it's like I think we just work for that purpose. But he definitely it does take him forever to do everything.
SPEAKER_01How long is his drag makeup routine?
SPEAKER_00Two hours. But that like so he's gotten a lot better with that.
SPEAKER_01Um There's no Kamora more.
SPEAKER_00No, not Kamara Moore. Um Naomi Smalls is four hours.
SPEAKER_01Who am I thinking? Kamura. Oh, you're thinking of Kamara Hall. Kamara Hall.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Um and like Violet takes less time, but Violet barely wears any makeup anymore. Like Violet wears quick eyeliner and some lip and calls it.
SPEAKER_01An eyeliner.
SPEAKER_00And she'd be like 20-minute face, and I'm like, I know.
SPEAKER_01Gag. Good thing she's not here.
SPEAKER_00No, but I say this to her, she don't care. And this is I'm probably gonna get cancelled for this. People on bicycles. Sorry, I I I don't I don't like it.
SPEAKER_01I didn't expect that. Explain. Go on. I just hate it. I hate it so much. I hate it. Like just their presence annoys you. Type thing. Yes. Yes. Really? Get a car. Yes. Get a car. Get a car. Does not care about the environment. Doesn't care about being active. Get a car. Wow. People on bicycles. Not even just like on the road in bicycles, just in general.
SPEAKER_00No, it's that. It's on the road. Okay. And it's it's when they think that they're part of traffic. Yes. Okay. If I Because you're not driving fast enough. No. It's a one-lane road. You're too far out. How am I getting by you?
SPEAKER_01If I'm behind a red light and there's a bicycle in the lane in front of me, get out of the way.
SPEAKER_00Also, the people who do it properly, like, they they have little flashers and they like they're they're fine. It's the ones for me who it's like, you're wearing black. It's 10 p.m. You're driving on the side, like you're cutting in front of my car. I can't see you. You're not wearing a helmet. Ugh, I just I just don't like bicycles.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's fair. Alright. I was not expecting that, but I agree. I do agree. I don't have anything personally against people who ride bicycles like you, obviously, do, but that's fair. Alright, my next one. This is real estate specific. Realtors who sell how to be a realtor instead of actually selling houses. That's kind of like a lifestyle coach type action. A lot of realtors get into real estate, can't sell real estate. So they end up trying to sell how to be a realtor or how to sell real estate to other realtors.
SPEAKER_00But you can't. You've shown us that you can't sell how real estate.
SPEAKER_01Because then I'm like, well, what are you actively selling right now? And they're not selling anything. I know that, like, and but it's just like a lot of chat GPT garbage that they're selling as like a Oh my god, that needs to be on here.
SPEAKER_00That's my next one.
SPEAKER_01ChatGPT garbage. You told me you had eight and we're supposed to have five, so I don't know if adding anything is Yeah.
SPEAKER_00No, I have nine.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Alright, we got a long episode ahead of this.
SPEAKER_00This is I don't mean this offensive, because you know I do like you. Realtors as a whole, I I I I I find kind of a lot of realtors very irritating.
SPEAKER_01Oh. I agree completely. As as I've said to you before. Yeah, yeah. I'm not sure.
SPEAKER_00I just I find that it's just very like a lot of realtors, it's like I find are very disingenuous with like you're you're pretending you're you're pretending we have a relationship we don't have. Yes. Like it's fine. Like if we're friends, then we're friends. But if you're just my realtor, like that's okay. Yeah. But like don't try to push a relationship we don't have. And like, I don't know.
SPEAKER_01I agree. I completely agree. Yeah. I mean it is like a and a lot of that comes back to realtors who are trying to sell real how to be a realtor. Because a lot of the real estate gurus that you see are like, you know, you gotta be making your 20 phone calls to your your database a day, and you gotta be texting everyone you know and things like that. And it's like I I would block your number.
SPEAKER_00If I'm being honest, like if you called me one time and said, Hey, it's Jakoda, just checking in. Like, I'd be like, first of all, how did you get this number? Second of all, don't call me. That's not what I use my phone for. Yeah. And like also, like, maybe, maybe if you're trying to sell houses for baby boomers, sure. Correct. But though they're done buying houses, they're selling them now, maybe. Yeah. Maybe, maybe they're not. But like people our age, don't cold call me. Don't come to my door. No. Oh my god, door knocking? Do not door knock.
SPEAKER_01I I don't because I hate when people come to my door. Why am I gonna do that to someone else?
SPEAKER_00Also, like, what are the chances I guess maybe it works because but like what are the chances you're gonna knock on someone's door and they're like, yes, I'm selling the house and I need a realtor.
SPEAKER_01Well, here's the thing Door knocking is more of a long game. You're supposed to door knock like once a month for like two years to get one lead. Which I mean, all the power to you if that's your thing, but it's not my thing.
SPEAKER_00You just sponsor drag shows and like get this from. We're still at one. We need to get to two.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. 2026, I have not gotten a referral yet.
SPEAKER_00Hey, I've been referring. People just aren't using you.
SPEAKER_01That's because no one's buying or selling right now, unfortunately.
SPEAKER_00That's not what your um your market report said. What did it say? Your market report said that it's a it's becoming I thought it was becoming a great time to be a buyer now.
SPEAKER_01It is a great time to be a buyer. It's a perfect time to be a buyer because But that's see that's what I hate.
SPEAKER_00Don't most people have to buy and sell?
SPEAKER_01So, like not a my age, not our age.
SPEAKER_00Oh, that's true.
SPEAKER_01A lot of my clients are first-time hobbies. First time, that's true. I would say probably 75% of my buyers are first-time homebuyers.
SPEAKER_00So if you already have real estate, it doesn't matter. But if you're buying for the first time, then you want a buyer's market.
SPEAKER_01Well, this is gonna turn into a real estate episode. But here's the thing you buy and sell in the same real estate market, usually. Meaning if you bought a house for 50k less than market value two years ago, then your house you're gonna sell your house for 50k less as well. So you're not gaining or losing anything really in that situation. So it it doesn't really it's not a good or a bad time to buy and sell. Right, right, right.
SPEAKER_00But only if you're a first-time right.
SPEAKER_01If you're a first-time buyer, prices are lower than the other.
SPEAKER_00Or if you're buying additional real estate, which like who is at this point?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no one's buying cottages, things like that.
SPEAKER_00Um AI posters. That's my next thing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. They're very popular right now, especially amongst the drag community.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and so the drag community is pushing back.
SPEAKER_01Good.
SPEAKER_00Uh because it looks like shit.
SPEAKER_01Um and there's And also the obvious mistakes that I see in Sunday.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and Canva, Canva Premium is $180. Like, and I do online posts on Canva, and like are they reinventing the wheel? No. But like Are they effective? Are they effective? Like it's just like some some queer bars downtown are doing them, and that's all AI, and it's just like people are not happy. And it looks bad, and I hate it. Uh your turn.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00Um I do have more than you, but it's fine.
SPEAKER_01You do. People with no social awareness when they're in public.
SPEAKER_00That's kind of similar to people with no urgency.
SPEAKER_01Different. Um if someone is walking in the grocery store and they're on their phone speaker. Or someone's playing music on speaker as they're walking.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god. My husband does this too, where like we'll be watching something on the TV, or like he'll have he'll have the TV on, and then he'll be on his phone playing a TikTok at full volume. And I'm like, I just the way his brain works, that like he can that's fine. I just I want to kill somebody or myself. Like over stimulated. I want one sound, yeah, and he doesn't get it. Yeah because he's different than me.
SPEAKER_01But like being in public, especially I find it's really bad in Kitchener Waterloo. Like, if I'm in the grocery store, people run into me regularly. Like, people are just so unown-like, they're in their own world. Just have a little bit of confidence.
SPEAKER_00One thing I need to start doing again is going to the grocery store. I I order my groceries far too often.
SPEAKER_01That's crazy. I did that during COVID. I haven't done it since. Okay, your turn.
SPEAKER_00People who don't know what they want to order when it's time to order a drive-thru.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god, that is like a baby boomer thing, I think.
SPEAKER_00A hundred percent. But it's also like, do you have you ever heard of John Pennett?
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_00John Pennett is my favorite comedian. He's dead now, but he has a couple specials online and he's hilarious. And he has this whole thing like, get out of line. Like, if you don't know what you want, get out of the line. And I'm like, I'm going to Tim Hortons. I get one of three things. And worst case scenario, like, it bothers me when it's like the person's been like, and what do you want now? And the person still doesn't know, and they don't understand that it's a problem that the person's waiting, and we're in a drive, like, drives me nuts.
SPEAKER_01That's another like no social awareness. No social awareness. And no urgency. These are all the same. Are people the problem?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Oh well. 100%.
SPEAKER_01We've been knowing that.
SPEAKER_00But yes, I all of my all of my things that I hate start with people who.
SPEAKER_01Four out of five of mine.
SPEAKER_00Okay, go.
SPEAKER_01When someone texts me saying they have tea or something to tell me, and then I ask them what it is, and then I don't hear from them for hours.
SPEAKER_00You did this to me. You've done this to me on multiple occasions.
SPEAKER_01I don't mean to. I might do it, but one of my best friends does this to me all the time, and it is the most annoying thing. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. Just tell me. Just text me this. What did what was the example? What did I say that? What did I say to you? Oh, I know. This was months ago. And I'm not saying it on the podcast. We're not saying it on the podcast. Okay, yeah. I have done that before, but I didn't mean to. That was just like, I want to tell you in person.
SPEAKER_00You still did it.
SPEAKER_01And I still did it.
SPEAKER_00People who don't like dogs. That is the biggest red flag. Like, like, people are like, oh, I'm just not a dog person. Well, I'm not a you person then.
SPEAKER_01Like, I don't know.
SPEAKER_00I cannot be friends. Like, I and sometimes my friends get cute and they're like, oh, the dog, and then like, yep. Okay, be careful because I will always choose them over you. 100%. And if it comes down to like you don't like my dogs, you don't come in my house then. Because it's like they live here. You're visiting. This is their house.
SPEAKER_01Um and I've so that goes for any pets or any animals in general, I think.
SPEAKER_00And I feel like I know that like I could have had a golden retriever that loves everybody. I chose three chihuahuas who hate everyone and love me. And that's like that's fine. But it's my prerogative. And like I understand people don't like chihuahuas. Like, I don't I don't agree with it, but like, you don't like any dogs? There's no dogs that you like?
SPEAKER_01Some people just aren't dog people are aren't animal people.
SPEAKER_00You don't have a pet, like what what what's in your house? Like just nothing?
SPEAKER_01Right? Or people who are like, oh, my dog doesn't get on the couch or sleep in the back. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Get out of here. Like what? Sometimes I I I don't sit on the couch because the dogs are taking up the space.
SPEAKER_01Or my dogs are both obsessed with me, so the second I sit down on the couch, they're both on my lap, and they're not small dogs. So like dogs. And I don't care. I just I make room. I want my dogs.
SPEAKER_00We have one dog that sleeps with us, the other two sleep away.
SPEAKER_01Roderick is the one that sleeps with you. Roderick, yeah. I cannot wait for you to get another dog named Roderick.
SPEAKER_00I'm not getting a fourth dog. At this point, my dogs are gonna die at some point in the next six years, and when they do, um That's it. No more dogs. No, no, no. I think what we're gonna do though is like let them die off and then start again. Rather than like it I don't think we're gonna introduce like young dogs to like a ten-year-old chihuahua. Well, they're twelve now.
SPEAKER_01How old did you I just saw a cardinal out the window. A magical experience. Um how I also really like birds. I love birds. I have a bird feeder camera that I watch. Anyways. How old did chihuahuas live to?
SPEAKER_00Uh they can live up to twenty.
SPEAKER_01Oh wow.
SPEAKER_00I I don't think they're going to, but who knows? Okay, you're your turn. I still have four more.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so I'm on my last one, because the the assignment was five. So why don't you do two and then I'll do my last one and then you can do two.
SPEAKER_00Straight boys who don't want to kiss me is one.
SPEAKER_01I've personally never experienced that.
SPEAKER_00Um my other joke, I'll do it. Okay. Um I have fake friends, but that's more like Yes. Oh my god. Isn't that pretty? It's very pretty. It's the red cardinal. It's a red cardinal. You can't see it, but it's there. You can imagine. Um I hate people that I don't know, I just have people who prioritize the wrong things in friendships. Like people who Like a new man or that, or like people that people that get transactional with their friendship. Yeah. Where it's like they put their friendship in certain areas because it's gonna benefit them. And that pisses me the fuck off.
SPEAKER_02I don't give me an example.
SPEAKER_00Not like a real life example, but just like a an example would be like, okay, we're good friends, um, but you have this new friendship with this person, and there's a possibility that with this person, maybe they have a lot of money, or maybe they have power.
SPEAKER_01They could get me more clients.
SPEAKER_00Maybe, but it's like you start spending a lot of time there, and I see that it's because you're getting this from them or you're getting this, and it's just like, okay, you do you, but like don't lie to me. Like, don't pretend that we're something we're not. Yes. If you're wanna be that kind of person and have those kind of friends, like just do that. Just be yeah. That's that's my thing. I got it. Um Okay, now I have one left, so you can go.
SPEAKER_01People who blame the world for their problems, or people who can't take accountability for their own actions or drag queens, to be honest.
SPEAKER_00Really? Uh Drag artists. Like there's a like not all of them, but a lot of drag artists is like the world sucks. So therefore, like I don't know. I I just feel like it's a a lot of them are very woe as me.
SPEAKER_01Fair. There is a queen currently on TV and is quite well known who recently had a scandal. I'm not gonna say their name. Who recently had a scandal where they did not pay for one of the looks that Kennedy Everybody knows. Okay, but I was gonna like talk shit a little bit, so I didn't want to say the name. Okay, block it out. Okay. Kennedy Davenport's daughter. Is it? No, but she made a joke about that in the roast. Anyways. Um and sh Jasmine Kennedy, who I'm now just gonna She doesn't listen to the podcast, fine. Basically came online and her apology was, well, I just didn't have the money, so I and I felt overwhelmed.
SPEAKER_00Then don't order the garment.
SPEAKER_01For real. And I was like, that is not really a good reason.
SPEAKER_00No, the apology sucked. Um I do like that she paid it eventually, but it's like I do would she have paid it if not for the. This is the thing. I know. I agree, I agree, I agree. Um I think that that's a lot of like Yeah, like with a lot of drag performers, it's like and uh nobody that I work with now is like this for a reason. Maybe one or two, but um they're always very happy to get the booking fee, however busy the show is. So like I could be losing money on a show and they'll take the booking fee, which they're entitled to, which is 100% no issues. But then if the show if a show does well, all of a sudden all of a sudden we're we're wanting to look at like percentages of sales and this and like trying to get more money for me.
SPEAKER_01And I'm like I know you've taken the risk.
SPEAKER_00I've taken the risk, and like nine shows out of ten, I'll break even if that. So the one show that comes in where I make six hundred bucks, I'm gonna fucking keep that money, I'm gonna put it in my pocket, and you're gonna shut the fuck up.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Especially since you've agreed to a con. 100%.
SPEAKER_00So it's like that pisses me off. Right. But what was your thing overall?
SPEAKER_01People who blame the world or don't take accountability.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I could just have I could have people involved in the drag community just on here because there's so many good people, there's so many just rotted, fucking horrible people.
SPEAKER_01What's your last one?
SPEAKER_00Uh my last one is Oh people who have comments about things when you didn't ask and then act brand new when you call it out.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So like I have an example. And he doesn't listen to this, so I don't care. Um I I did it. What? Your husband. No, not my husband. No, no. Um yes. But like I do this to him too, so it's fine. Um, it's just that's called being married. Um I did a show last year, Anastasia, and um I had a solo in the show, and I went out for Halloween with my gay friends. Ryan was one of them, Mark, uh, Violet. Like, we all went out to Caramel's thing, as I said. As the the time when um Ryan was like, Oh god, I'm so hot in here. Um that's a callback. That's a callback to uh previous episode. Um so at one o'clock at Halloween, this guy who was also in the show thinks it's time to give me some feedback.
SPEAKER_01Some feedback on your performance on my performance. You're drunk, obviously.
SPEAKER_00It's 1 a.m. I'm drunk. It's Halloween. The Albion Patio. It's Halloween. The Albion Patio is the time to impart this wisdom. Punched this. When I tell you, I went so a vibe killer. I oh my god. Like, he took the vibe, sat on it. Not in a good way, clam slammed it into the ground.
SPEAKER_01Clam's another callback.
SPEAKER_00And so I'm like, genuinely, fuck you. And his name was just Oh, he'll like anyone who knows anyone who knows the story will know who it is.
SPEAKER_01Okay, mouth the name to me.
SPEAKER_00He won't know him. I still want to know. That's a cursed name in this house. No, we're still friends, but like he was like, what? I just trying to help.
SPEAKER_01Like what's his last name?
SPEAKER_00I'm not telling you his last name. He's like, I just want to help. Like, I think that if you took I think if you took this feedback, your performance could be even better. Like, it's already so good. What a gentleman. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I was I was he had good intentions.
SPEAKER_00No, he did not.
SPEAKER_01He was gay?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, they all intentionally. Yeah, they always are.
SPEAKER_01Why is everyone with that name gay?
SPEAKER_00Oh, right. Oh, not that not who I'm talking about. But yes. Um, yeah, so that pisses me off. And then and then it's like just an another another one, like my uh when we were we were just auditioning for a show recently, and somebody in the callback room made a really like rude comment about someone else and was overheard and then tried to be like, oh no, like I didn't mean like I didn't say that. I mean own it, like own it, just own it, like just own it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And then like, oh, another thing. People that will not like have your back in a situation like that, like if you hear somebody say something about you, and people that'd be like, oh, I don't know if he meant it like that, like to try and just or who like instantly go to like defending them. Defending or pretending it didn't happen. Like, don't gaslight me and defend them like no no no. Especially That's a ruiner for me. Yeah. And especially if like they're people who would want like the same treatment back. They would want people to ride for them, and then it's like, oh no, I think you misinterpreted it, or like maybe they didn't mean like no. They meant it. They meant it. Um, so that too.
SPEAKER_01Also, I'm allowed to feel how I Yeah, exactly. You're you're as my friend, you're to support me here.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you're yeah, literally. That's just some and yes, I'm the older I get, like obviously, like you are getting older. And I am getting older. You try to like really like keep people close to you that are like good friends. Yep. And it just feels like sometimes people don't have your like they don't have time for your emotions and your whatever. Like it's it's too much. So that I don't like that.
SPEAKER_01So it's yeah. People are in their own own world. People are selfish. Yes. Generally, yeah. Especially young gay people. Who you tend to hang around with for some reason.
SPEAKER_00Straight people suck too. Oh my way more. Don't even get me started. I just don't hang out with straight people. Yeah. Like I do. Like my my um my softball team's pretty much all straight. And the girls are amazing. And the boys are fun, but they're there. They're there. Like, I prefer the girls, obviously. Um and then like I mostly just hang out with straight women because what use would I have for a straight man unless they're I could name a few, but unless, yeah, unless it's one of those reasons or they're with my their straight women friends. My my my my my girls, yeah. Um girls. My girls, yeah. So yeah.
SPEAKER_01Alright. Is that everything you had on your list? No, there's one that I'm not saying. No, unfortunately, you will have to say it. This is a safe space. Go ahead.
SPEAKER_00It's literally the opposite of a safe space. It's going on the internet.
SPEAKER_01The internet is the safest of space. Is it?
SPEAKER_00Okay, fine. My first one, close relationships.
SPEAKER_01Delete. Delete. Anyways, we appreciate you listening to this episode.
SPEAKER_00Thanks for stopping by the house tour. Come back soon. The tea's always on and the kettle's always hot. I don't know. That's crazy. Okay. Goodbye.
