Food for the Soul: The GOTR Recipe for Confidence begins with “Mind: The Appetizer.” Hosts Claire Johnson and Lizzie Hawkins from Girls On The Run North State are joined by Christina Hudson, School Social Worker at Chico Country Day School, for a heartfelt conversation about how mental nourishment and positive self-talk help girls grow confident and resilient.
Together they explore “The Recipe of Me,” a Girls On The Run activity designed to help participants recognize what makes them unique, and discuss the importance of early guidance, self-esteem, and emotional support.
