IntroThis is the Meditation Minis podcast with your host, Hypnotist Shell Hamilton.
SPEAKER_02Are you ready? Close your eyes or stare at a spot in front of you. And begin by taking a slow, purposeful breath in and let it out. Following that with two more purposeful breaths, breathing in deeper and deeper, and exhaling through your mouth. One more time. Maybe stretching your head to the left or to the right. Or perhaps you want to tense your fists up and release them, or move your shoulders or hips a bit. Just take a moment to move or stretch or tense or release any one to three parts of your body that you feel really needed the most right now. Breathing in and releasing on the exhales. Following that with another two or three breaths, to just allow yourself to begin to center, to begin to move into stillness if you haven't already. Maybe it's the shower or tub drain, maybe it's the sink drain. And as it runs down the drain, see it in its whirlpool way, going round and round and round as it goes down the drain. And as you do, imagine that you could take all of your stress, your frustration, your worries, your negative thoughts and concerns and put them in that drain. Just let them fall out of your body, out of your mind, and into that drain and watch them as they spin down and round and round and go down the drain with the water. It may seem a little strange, but your body and mind, especially your subconscious mind, really understands what this is about. So take another deep breath and imagine any stress, any fears, any anger, resentment that you have had today or this past week, and it's coming out of your body, out of your mind, and it's going round and round with that water and down the drain until it's gone completely. And do this another three or four times so that you can really ensure that the anxiety, the anger, the tension is really out of all of your body and mind. So you take a breath, imagine it all coming out and going into that drain, and then going round and round and down the drain. And out and out and round and round and down the drain. And out and out and round and round and down the drain. Imagine now that you are actually standing in your bathroom in front of the sink. Maybe it's the morning time, you're brushing your teeth, and you're watching the water go down the drain, and you feel ready for your day. Clear, calm, reset. And looking up at yourself in the mirror and say to yourself either out loud or silently in your mind, or just hear my voice in your mind. You are amazing. You are awesome. You are amazing. You are awesome. And everywhere you go, you bring awesome joy, amazing love. You are awesome. You are amazing. And everywhere you go today, you bring awesome joy, an amazing love. And see yourself there, your shoulders back, your chin held high. You are amazing. You are awesome. And it's true. Let it in. And of course, that's not to say that there aren't things that we can approve upon because that's part of life. We grow, we change. And at your core, you are awesome and you are amazing. And it's true. Out of all of the people who have ever been born, there is nobody who's ever been exactly like you. You are awesome. You are amazing. And you are unique in all of creation. And everyone else you run into today, they are unique in all of creation too. Isn't that amazing? Breathe in. Breathe out. And prepare yourself to open your eyes with a smile, with a sense of lightness. You are amazing. You are awesome. And you bring all of that amazing awesomeness to your day.
