No guest this week… which means absolutely nobody was keeping Justine and Renee in line.

With Ribbon Competition officially kicking off the season, the girls unpack the excitement, the nerves and the dawning realisation that competition season is no longer lurking on the horizon… it’s here. Renee shares her annual bout of chronic competition anxiety, while the pair chat through everything that comes with this time of year and why the Physie Train has officially left the station.

They also dive into Season 3 of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, discussing the phenomenal institution the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders have become and why Netflix has the world completely hooked.

It’s also the inaugural Poddy Book Club, with Justine and Renee reviewing The Titanic Story of Evelyn by none other than honorary Physie Hall of Famer, Lady Lisa Wilkinson. Expect a healthy dose of Titanic history, a full-blown fan-girl moment from Renee, and somehow… another rant about the baffling incompetence of the less fair sex.

As always, there’s a Poddy Pick, with Justine shining a spotlight on the fabulous Star Wigs at Paddy’s Markets and Westfield Parramatta (plus online) for all your Physie Fame hair needs.

So buckle up. Competition season has arrived, Interclubs are charging towards us at alarming speed, and frankly… we’re not emotionally prepared.

All aboard. Spew.

SPEAKER_03

Welcome to that Fuzzy Podcast. I'm your host, Renee Walker, joined by my co-host, Justin Rigby. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're back and it's just us this time.

SPEAKER_06

So love a little just you and me.

SPEAKER_03

Buckle up for some insanity.

SPEAKER_06

I know, and it's a Sunday and it's an AVO and we're having those cans. We're having some of those cans. Yep, love that for us. Yeah, it's really good. We're quite awesome.

SPEAKER_03

Nice way to finish off the weekend. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Thanks, gals. Thanks, Sandy Coast Girls. Yeah. Love that for us. They are curated some beer by women for women on the Senecoast. We're drinking the hazy. Hazy pale. Quite like the brand.

Drinking Those Cans

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah. Chukas. Chukas! Chuggers for chunkers. Um shall we start with our ribbon comp last weekend? Rubbin comp, yes.

SPEAKER_06

Oh my gosh, we are thick. Everyone's thick in it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Oh, we're in it. Yeah, we're we're a lot earlier that like I didn't do ribbon comp last year. Oh yeah, you didn't.

Ribbon Comp

SPEAKER_03

And then uh ribbon comp had only just we just our club had started doing it last year.

SPEAKER_06

I don't know if it's because we didn't have a lot of people. I don't know. But have you noticed they all call it something different? So I wear ribbon comp, then there's chocky comp and lolly comp and then showcase showcase.

SPEAKER_03

Mid year showcase to me sounds very dance school.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it is a bit more. Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_03

So everyone's doing everyone's enjoying it. Enjoying it.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, we're all we're all freaking out. How did you feel after it? Oh I had a massive come down the next day. It's a fizzy hanger is actually a thing. Yeah. Um, but other than that, look, I found if I maybe because I had I did the ribbon comp last year, so I remember it's it's um a lot more relaxed. Oh, laughing on the floor though.

SPEAKER_03

That was yeah, that was that was different.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, it's it's it's pressure.

SPEAKER_03

I just got to the point where I was like, oh my god, I'm so bad. Like I I can't hold it in.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I mean, but that's that's the benefit of it, right? Like you it's a point where you can just get every fuck up out. Yes. And look, let's be honest, I'm gonna fuck it up again.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, yeah. I mean, the problem for me um is that I haven't learned the work yet. Yeah, I mean, that will do it. I think I've got two key messages on a ribbon com. Yeah, oh my god, tell me. So, one, I don't think it's for everyone. What do you mean? Um I don't think that it would necessarily uh benefit every human that does it. Oh, okay, fair enough. Um, yeah, it's just that's just my hot take. That's not the Bible. I just feel like if you're a slow learner, like I am, because it's very early in the piece. There are people that have been doing like physique, you know, since I was three, like you know, the key marie's of the world, um, and you know, Montana. You like you can show them something and they pick it up.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, their match fit when it comes to choreography.

SPEAKER_03

And they know all the positions, um even if you know, like even there's a girl that's just started with us as a beginner this year and she's danced all the way through high school into her early 20s, but never done fizzy before. Fantastic. Yeah, can pick up steps. Yeah, but I think if you can just learn work like quite easily, then ribbon comp's gonna be like no doubt challenging. You're gonna make epic mistakes everywhere, but you know, like you're probably a little bit more ready for it. You're like, let's get going with this thing. Like, I've been practicing these moves for a while, but for those of us that don't have any dance experience, it was a little bit too soon. Yeah, look, it was too goddamn soon. You could have put me in an old folks home on Monday. I was I was I was like dead. Just bury me, shoot me like a horse that's gone down a big thing. Banger into glue. Oh, a hundred percent. I was just like, I'm useless, like so there's that. I just think for me, my confidence is a bigger issue for me than learning the work. Oh no, I'll learn the work. Yeah, yeah, yeah. My issue is my confidence. So you gotta look at it on like a cost um benefit ratio. The cost to me of the ribbon comp was higher than what I got out of it.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, okay. I hate hearing that.

SPEAKER_03

Um, yeah, it just is what it is. I'm not sad about it. I'm just like, I've learned it's not my time. I need to give it more time and I'll come in at interclubs. Oh, okay, so when I came into Interclub last year, I didn't have any of the feelings that I had. Okay, so it's around the confidence of the timing, the the level of confidence at that time of year is not high enough for the cost that got taken away by being out there. I need to keep percolating.

SPEAKER_06

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

And then I've got a little bit of confidence to give away it into club. I'm like, oh yeah. You know, I've been practicing for a while. Like I know the work, I've got a little bit of something to give away. Okay. I'm at the point of the year where I've got I absolutely have no confidence to give away. The till is empty.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So it then I'm in a deficit. I'm in the red on the confidence front, and then I couldn't go to class last week because I was just like, ooh, like cringe ick factor.

SPEAKER_05

You gave yourself the ick.

SPEAKER_03

I gave myself the fucking ick. That's how bad I was. Okay. Okay. Updating the folks when I got um, I think it was the end of the uh contemporary. I just looked at the judges and I said, never said I was good at it. Because I was so panicked.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_03

Mariah said, next time you want to yell out at the judges, can you wait for the music to finish books? And then we're sitting at the pub, everyone shaking their head at me, like, fucking Renee, fucking Renee, yelling out at the judges. But how's when they um they left at the end of the day? And I just happened to be there at the door. I opened the door for them as they were walking out, and um, I said, Miletus. I was like, I've gotta, I've gotta make a joke of the situation, and I I couldn't quite work out whether they clocked me or not. Yeah, and she goes, Oh, when you marched up to your cross, I said, Look, there's Mrs. Podcast.

SPEAKER_06

I'm a little bit cut because I am I'm like the little sidekick that everyone am I the Andy in this Hamish and Andy situation? Is everyone like, no, she went.

SPEAKER_02

I love that everyone knows that Andy's the same.

SPEAKER_06

If he thinks he's got main character energy. Oh no.

SPEAKER_03

Hamish definitely does fine. I'm the So that was key message number one, alright? Yeah, okay, that's fair. I don't know that Ruben comments are everyone. It's definitely not for me. Yeah, but uh key message number two is you don't have to perform to be doing fizzy. And I'll explain it because it sounds odd. It does. But I just think there's so many women and boys, no doubt, um, in other codes that are coming for the full day and contributing all day. Um, you know, the ladies that sit on the ticketing booth. Oh yeah. Like those of us that cleaned up the room before everyone got there and packed down. Like, I think, you know, it's unfair to just think you're only turning up to fizzy if you're on the floor. Oh, okay. Yeah. There has to be a space for people who aren't performing because not everyone does. Like a lot of the older ladies want to still be in the club. Yeah. And they're like, I'm not going out there, but I can be helpful. Yeah. To me, that is still turning up to fizzy. Yeah. And I think that's what I'll be doing at Ruben Comp next year. Yeah, you just know, you're not putting your foot down. I'm the sweeping crew. Mate, you did a bloody good job. I was watching you. I'm like, she's still sweeping. I'm I'm taking a hyper. Yeah. You're taking the hoover next year. Fuck the fucking broom. Jesus, that was. You're having your hyperfixation moment. I was watching you just laughing. So hardcore ADHD, but it was somewhere to put my nervous energy.

SPEAKER_06

I was worried, because everyone's like, should we go take it off? I'm like, no, no.

SPEAKER_03

She's in a happy place. And she's also gonna wear herself out so much so that when she gets to go on the floor, she's not gonna care because she's so tired from sleeping. You know what? I need a job. You've got to give me a job. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, it it does make sense because it is really it is quite relatively early, right? So you think about it this way. We started in February and you're kind of just learning things. And what? We are mid-June.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, we're and we've got to the end of July, you know. Yes. I need that extra time.

SPEAKER_06

So that's an extra month, right? That's that's actually a long period of time.

SPEAKER_03

It's a long period of time when you turn up to class.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, and I mean keep doing that. And I think as well, like I don't know if we I know we kept making jokes about it, but I don't know if we necessarily got the video later than I I think look, maybe it was a week.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it was like a couple of days if you take the weekend down. I'm not that anyone's counting seconds or anything.

SPEAKER_06

If you carry the one and divide it by pie and whatever.

SPEAKER_03

It felt it felt later. It felt yes. It feels later every year, and it's not. It's not, it's just so I'm getting more desperate for it every year.

SPEAKER_06

And I think that's what it is because the it's so much faster. Like we're obviously we're just talking BJP, but um the the works the work is fast, it's a bit more complicated, so you kind of needed that video to to really train and practice. So good on like the likes of Molly and Kirsty for for doing those videos. Oh god, and like Hannah, obviously from a senior position to learn it so early, like on your own. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's no one to bounce off. Yes, but now that we've got the video, I would have liked more like that's probably gave us maximum a month. Four weeks since we've got the video. So I like now that you say it, I I can understand.

SPEAKER_03

She feels a little bit raw, super green.

SPEAKER_06

Um, so yeah. She wasn't cooked yet. She wasn't no, well, like half baked. We're like, you know, like a sourdough when you bring it out, you cut it down in the middle and people show it and you're like, She's not right. She's not she's not right. So when you when you talk about it like that, I totally get it. Like maybe because I I I think it's because I did ribbon comp last year. And I remember feeling like this last year. And I was like, oh my god, I don't like it. Yeah, I I felt really kind of out of my depth. But I think this year I just was just laughing about it.

SPEAKER_03

Like I guess different for me too is that it's the first year I've done ribbon comp. So it's it's like being very eye-opening. I'm like, oh my god, I don't know if I like this. Yeah. And I think you know, you've got to have the self-awareness and like not the self-respect, but just like know yourself well enough to know maybe not every competition's for me. Yeah. And that's okay. I'll come and sweep the floor.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, guys, if you ever want um someone to come and sweep the floor, Renee's putting her hand up. I'm bringing a hoover. But do you know? I was talking to someone about this the other day. I can't remember who it was, and they said, Oh, I don't think I'll make it to any interclubs, but then I definitely don't want to do zone. And controversially, I will say until I'm black and blue in the face, don't do zone without doing interclub. I get less freaked out. I get more freaked out at an interclub and a club comp than I do it at Zone because people, you sit too close. Yeah, it's too close.

SPEAKER_03

Also, to me, you know, um, I've always spanked a lot harder on interclub. I mean, I'm not gonna go to nationals. Zone's just a good day out. It's like coming out to watch like the best of the best. And you get a little go on the floor too if you want to, love. And you get a little badge. Yeah, we get our little badges. But to me, Interclub, I've actually got a shot at the title. Yeah. So I'm like, ooh, I've got a dog in this race. Yeah, okay, let's go. Like, I would a hundred percent if I could pick, if I had to pick, I wouldn't, you know, compete at zone. I'd I'd bank in hard onto Interclub. But you will be competing at Zone because you've got the back. It's gonna be a vibe. No, it's gonna be bloody hilarious.

SPEAKER_06

It's gonna be such a vibe this year for us at Zone because we get to start later. Yeah. Because Internet we get to start later. It's just gonna be, you know, you, me and Elena just hanging out the back. Chilling out. Chilling out, and then we get to, you know, have a little snow burger birth.

SPEAKER_03

Might take a little hip flop. Surely. Surely we can. Not enough time for the pub. Nah, it's not. That's what we've that's what we've had to sacrifice in a better time slot.

SPEAKER_06

Nicole, we love you, but Nicole, you decided to come to ladies and now we've got to sit and watch the unders. Yeah. We're talking about the city. Because we're supporting we've got the unders. We got it, we got a representative in every single one.

SPEAKER_03

Sorry to unders, but that was usually our trip to the pub.

SPEAKER_06

Sorry, unders. We're like, oh, I'd sit the pub, we'll come back for seniors. But I'm loving that interclub season is is coming because we've we've slotted our name down at a few, um, not to compete, obviously, we're only competing in our own interclubs, but to go to other codes, interclubs. Yep. Can't wait. I can't, I can't wait to see because we haven't seen it.

SPEAKER_03

Imagine if we were slotting our names down to do their things.

SPEAKER_06

Well, I was wondering, I was wondering if Cups in Montana were gonna ask me when I'm like, hey, can you send me your apt to syllabus? No one's asked me why. They're like, oh yeah, sure. Yeah. I'm like I just want to see it. Yeah, I just want to see what you're doing. I just want to see it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Like, do you reckon I could do it? Yeah, I mean, we kind of saw the EP syllabus a little bit because we had a cracker. We did it. We sort of did it.

SPEAKER_06

We did it. We particip we were there. We went to a session. We got marked off the roll.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And um, you know, yeah, Apt is probably the one that we haven't seen anything of. I know, I'm I'm s I'm pumped. I still can't get over the idea that they do their fizzy on a stage. I know! I don't know. Nah. After last weekend's ribbon comp and like how ah that was for me, like looking at their Choccom on a stage. Choccomp. Chock com. I was like, holy shit, you would never get me to do fizzy if I had to do it on a stage. I legitimately would fear that I'd fall off the stage. Oh, imagine doing that fall, falling out of that balance on a stage.

SPEAKER_04

I still, I did I tell you, I told Julia. I was like, oh, by the way, we've got a video of you just laughing at me.

SPEAKER_06

Good, good. She just was like, be better.

SPEAKER_03

And I went, no. Yeah, I know, I know. I mean, I would have done so many. I mean, I went the wrong way. Oh, that was funny.

SPEAKER_06

And fuck that video is just kicking off in TikTok. It's actually just so isn't it? I never go on TikTok. Well, I went on there today. It's like because obviously I posted the one of me falling out, like, can we all just normalize, just stacking it? Like space planting it competitions. And I went, I just want to have a look what that other one's done. It's that like something like over a hundred thousand views.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my god, I love. Um, so when I put that video onto the account and I put the poll, who do you think got it? Who do you think got it right? And everyone started voting for me, and oh, how the cards tumbled over here with this one. She thought she thought it was such a fun idea until the poll came in and she was like, This is a shit game I don't want to play anymore.

SPEAKER_06

This this gives you some insight into how I am just playing just any board game. I'm like, I'm not winning. I was like, I don't want to play anymore.

SPEAKER_03

And when the poll swung back around, which I was fully on. I knew it was going to. I couldn't even work out why people thought I would have got it right. I rang you and I was like, oh hey, I just wanted to make the date by letting you know everyone knows you got it. You didn't get it wrong.

unknown

Shit.

SPEAKER_03

What a day.

SPEAKER_06

That was it was actually a funny. I thought it was a quite a fun day, but you know what?

SPEAKER_03

It's quite a funny season.

SPEAKER_06

It's gonna be a funny season, but do you know what I always find so random about um after fizzy comps? Because you know, like you're all done up. You got your hair done, you got your go. You've got your unwitch my hair piece is now called Kimmy. Kimmy, look at me. We're gonna call it Epine Ray, but we've called it Kimmy. Let's go I have like Kimmy on, I've got we've got the makeup, then we've got the tan. Week later, it's the tan for me. I'm like, it's just there's nothing around so dumb. I love a fake tan. I love, don't get me wrong, I love fake tan. Yeah, but I don't do the upkeep on a good old fake tan. I know I could. Championship tan. I could be doing that, I could be doing the gradual tan and keeping it on. I no, you haven't seen my legs. Oh right. It's like patch my feet, a patchy patch. You know what I call that?

SPEAKER_03

The tiger bun.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Tiger bun from bake and tights. All of these tiger. Yeah, that's what I look. Do you remember at Zone last year when I was like, oh my god, it was so embarrassing the next day. I was like, ooh.

SPEAKER_03

She slept in like a double coat, like cool. Yeah, triple coat and slept in it all night. And when we woke up in the morning, she texted me and she was like, Oh my god, guys, I've gone like I feel like this is a racial slur, how dark I am right now. Someone's gonna be offended.

SPEAKER_06

It was like it looked good, like it had it was a fizzy tan, but then so for that for that eight hours it looked like for all intents and purposes.

SPEAKER_03

Every photo of you taken on the day looked bloody great.

SPEAKER_06

I looked fine on the day. It's the next day.

SPEAKER_03

I went, oh I mean, you looked insane at home with no makeup on too. Idiot. But you can go real hard on a tan. Yeah, no. When you get out there on the floor, you'll never, you never know. I'm not doing that this year. There's absolutely no way. I'm not doing that. I I do think it can look quite aging going too dark.

SPEAKER_06

I'm just not doing I'm not that good at it. Like, as in I'm not that good at fizzy to warrant the the amazingly dark tan.

SPEAKER_03

Like, I'm just not. I've I've actually had a similar epiphany in the last week. I'm throwing my rat away. No, okay. Nicole and I have an intervention about this. It's too much hair.

SPEAKER_06

It's absolutely green. Did you see my horse's mane that was on my head?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but you you're you've got a little ponytail. You've got like thin hair. I've got quite a bit of hair here. And when I put that rat on top, it looks insane.

SPEAKER_06

No, because that why don't you wrap your hair like, aren't you what's that word? Platinum it? Don't you platin and bun it and then put your thing over it? No, I've got my ponytail. Oh I'd stick it all together. No, maybe that's why you feel but I don't think looking at your hair, I I didn't even know until early this year that you had a fake ponytail. Oh I don't know. See, Nicole and I haven't, we've already discussed, we're having an intervention with you about this. This is just because you're in your face it's just because you're in a headspace.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I'm I'm post-ribble and I'm sorry, that thing is staying.

SPEAKER_06

I'm I I will just bring it. I'll pack it with my ratty.

SPEAKER_03

But like in my thought process, I was like, if I was really good at fizzy a hundred percent, what are the other competitive edges that I can bring to the show? Like a really dark, nice tan that stands out, teeth whitening, ponytail. And I was just like, let's just go to ribbon comp and fucking know the work first before we dick around with fake ponytails, alright? I had when you were talking about the tan, I'm like, I literally had that thought this week. Like, get on top of the work and worry about the sheen ponytail another day. But we like it. It's fun. That's what we want to do. Yeah, it's just little girls in the in the makeup, in their mum's makeup. That's what I do.

unknown

Fuck.

SPEAKER_06

You you and my two girls, you're all together. And guess what? Our our interclub, sorry to tell you, Doll, it's like four weeks. I know. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I know some oh, I was watching Championship 10 do their little giveaways, their ultimate pack to interclub clubs that are hosting. And she was like, oh, you know, it's only like some of them are only three weeks away.

SPEAKER_06

Well yeah, there's some of some of them.

SPEAKER_03

And I'm like, I'm still reeling f I'm still in my ribbon comp bloody dysphoria. Fucking Valium Valium plattered dysphoria over here after bloody ribboncom.

SPEAKER_02

Just about committed hairy carrying on the way out the door.

SPEAKER_00

We needed 100%. And then she says, Oh, you've got three weeks to the next one. And I was like, Oh my god.

SPEAKER_06

Well, you're just gonna have to buckle up this sport, I tell ya. Well, we're all very special people. Well, do you know the exciting part about um all the comps coming up? Because We haven't told the people, but we're gonna be starting launching a social series.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, where we go and just talk to you in the wild. Yes. Because it's too hard to get you to come to see us.

SPEAKER_06

Well, one. These humble bitches. Oh, they just won't. No fiz fizzy girls do not like we've said. No one's talking. You know, like when we first started this, we're like, can't believe this not a fizzy podcast.

SPEAKER_04

Turns out because no one likes speaking.

SPEAKER_03

I actually thought about doing a poll the other day. I'm gonna do it now.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. How many what?

SPEAKER_03

How many fizzy ladies self-identify as an introvert? Oh. I'm so curious. I reckon you and I are the outliers. Fucking 100%. Because we I'll talk to a post. Honesty.

You girls are scared of yapping

SPEAKER_03

I'll talk to an inanimate object if I'm if I'm left. Like me and Stevo. I'll talk to Steve-O. But some of these ladies are just struggling. I I it's such a um not an oxymoron. It's like you do something that requires so much confidence. Oh yeah. Like talking to someone I don't know, it's a walk in the park compared to what you do. But I feel like they feel like that about talking to someone they don't know.

SPEAKER_06

100%. So I think the thing that we're gonna be doing is gonna be so good because we've already got some cool, amazing ladies locked in who are going to chat to us and it's just gonna be a nice little social thing.

SPEAKER_03

We're gonna do it over cans. We're doing it over cans, people. Have a drink. We'll ask you 20 questions and you're all done. Yes! Your name's been marked off the podcast list. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Roll call. So trust me, put your hands up now for that, because then it won't be bugging you otherwise.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah. Get it out of the way.

America's Sweethearts: The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders - Season 3

SPEAKER_03

So, DCC. I want to talk about Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.

SPEAKER_06

The hard thing is, is because I binged this Ages ago. Well, when it first came out and Slowpo has just I usually I just love it so much.

SPEAKER_03

I really wanted to trickle it out. I just wanted to save the moment. I'll literally watch like season one and two on the reg. I've already done it.

SPEAKER_06

I watched season one, season two, then I've watched.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I need to go back to the start of the game. Because I need to go back. So hit me. Um I don't think there's gonna be any more five-year vets.

SPEAKER_06

You don't reckon? No. As if that nobody will be a fifth year?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I don't think anyone will be able to have the staying power in the environment that they've created with this show to get to five years. Yeah, probably not. Like if you look at what has happened to Reese, what she was in her third year. She was her third year. That's I reckon people be topping out at three years.

SPEAKER_05

It's a lot, it's it's a beast, it's changed. I felt so sorry for her.

SPEAKER_03

I felt really sorry for her as well.

SPEAKER_05

You could just tell, she was so overwhelmed.

SPEAKER_03

She's broken.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

She seems a bit broken. She does. And I just want to give her a hug. Yeah, and I mean, without getting into lifestyles, um, I think they're the sort of people that would like to have a family very young. Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, babies, though. They are.

SPEAKER_03

But she's like, she was saying, Oh, we I just graduated university. I met this guy, we got married, I started DCC.

SPEAKER_06

DCC, and this is my life.

SPEAKER_03

And I'm like, you've done nothing. Yeah. I pray they don't have a baby straight away. Oh, they will. Take some time. If you are traumatised by this DCC thing, wait till you have a fucking baby.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, I don't know. I reckon having a baby we were walking in the park after that thing. I don't know, that's intense.

SPEAKER_03

But so's becoming a parent for the biggest. I know, but do you have a bro? Do you have Kelly Finglass in your face? Oh fuck, she scares me. Mate, mate. But in like a kind of a like turns me on kind of a way. I don't swing for older ladies, but there's something about like someone really like getting stuck into me. It's like, oh yeah, I could get around that. Actually, do you know that is sick? It's sick in the head. That's why I do fizzy.

SPEAKER_06

That's actually just so funny to me because I hadn't noted and written down I don't like being criticised. You will not ever be able to do DCC. No, the pure reason for this is because there's no way you're calling anyone ma'am.

SPEAKER_00

Oh absolutely not.

SPEAKER_02

It's bruh or dead. No brah.

SPEAKER_06

I I was laughing when they had um Well, who's the Australian good? The Australian chick.

SPEAKER_03

Faith. Faith. Okay. She could talk under wet cards. I agree, but I fucking love it.

SPEAKER_06

I love Faith, right? So I'm picturing, I'm like, okay, put you in this scenario. And they'll be like, it's ma'am. And you'd be like, fuck no, it's not.

SPEAKER_03

I'm not calling anyone ma'am. So there's no way. You ma'am. What about when they told her off for saying ma'am too fast? Yes, ma'am, ma'am, ma'am. They're like, oh, well, let me finish speaking before you say yes, ma'am. And I'm like, draw. Well, take it back to the yes, ma'am part. Like. But also, yeah. Last game's a good game. We've got speeders. Aussies don't have time for Elaine about.

SPEAKER_06

I love faith. Speaking of long draw, I'm like, can we make this sentence quicker? Y'all. Y'all. Y'all.

SPEAKER_03

I don't know. I just I just think it's a lot of pressure, that whole situation. And it's and it's born from Netflix. Yeah, of course it is. It wasn't that beast pre-show.

SPEAKER_06

No, well, they had making the team, right? Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

But they don't, it was whole nother. Because all those girls were in that show, making the team. Yeah. And even they're like, this is nothing next level.

SPEAKER_06

But you know what? It's just I have this thing, right, when I've been watching Kelly and Judy. And it's more Kelly, let's be frank.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, Judy's Judy's actually fine. I don't mind Judy. Judy just says what needs to be said. I know. And I'm like She's getting on with it. She I like Judy. She's fine.

SPEAKER_06

But then it reminds me, right, you know, they I love when they do the flashbacks of like when Kelly was in a heyday doing the poms and stuff like that. It reminds me of when I really watch old and people have been tagging us in the old fizzy, which I've been talking about, like the Bettled and stuff. But if you look at the the technique, right, of how they would have been back in the day and then how the girls are now, and then she has the audacity, the audacity, mate, to be yelling at them and talking into her phone. I'm like, Doll, love to see you do a kickline. Yeah, did you girls ever do that even when you were 22? Yes. I'm like, no, I see just a lot of floppy legs and little poms going on.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's just a lot of poms. So I have smiley feet, like smiley, frizzy hair.

SPEAKER_06

So I'm like, Kelly, go in and do a kickline. Yeah. Go do 100%.

SPEAKER_03

Go do your jump splits. You know what it reminded me of was like when Scotty and I talk about old school NRL. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Like the old days. Like the sterlers and that, and they've got their um, you know, their jerseys on and they're like down to the elbow side. They look like this bloody jacket. They're baggy. Baggy. The the jerseys now are skin tight, so you can't grab them. It's like spraying it on late. So you can't grab them.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. And and everyone looks like a forward.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. And the whole game is so professionalized that you couldn't even have Stirler go and he'd get fucking mowed right now. Oh yeah. Yeah. These guys also in the earlier days had part-time jobs like these cheerleaders just to keep like the NRL didn't pay that well. No. You can't compare what was going on in the 70s with how professional things are. I know. In every sport, in every coat, I feel like everyone just needs some V. Like everyone just calm the hell down. You know what it is?

SPEAKER_06

Because it's money.

SPEAKER_03

I know, it's capital, it's the trap of capitalism. We're going deep and dark in everyone's like, I thought this is a bit of a how do we get on to financial structures in economic modelling? But it is, it's a gilded cage. Oh, 100%. And I just don't think you know, they kept saying like rubbishing girls turning up because oh, you know, it's all about the talk and just turning up for social media, and I'm like, but good on, getting paid. But also it's impossible to make the team. Oh, exactly. Like, it doesn't matter if you're into TikTok or social media, if you're no good, you're not getting in. Yeah, exactly because what is their roster 36? Yes. Is there Russia 36?

SPEAKER_06

Um what was I gonna say?

SPEAKER_03

Not to mention the bloody Dallas Cowboys don't play that well. Like the men. The men have zero performance, and the women are getting all this hate shit on socials.

SPEAKER_06

What's the um the owner's daughter's name?

SPEAKER_03

Charlotte. Don't rate her.

SPEAKER_06

Nah.

SPEAKER_03

I'm getting big wasp vibes off all of them except for the cheerleaders themselves.

SPEAKER_06

Did you see? Because I go, I'm like in thick in the TikTok um DCC hole. Yeah when they've talked about how Charlotte has now shown her true true colours. There's a scene where she goes, I think some they were like, Oh, how did she, how did this particular person get through? And Kelly's like, Oh, she got she got through through the live, you know, the live audience, you know how they got through. And she's like, Well, how did that happen?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, would not like to be in a room without cameras with her. The ice, ice queen eyes. She's got ice eyes, yeah, and I mean they're the colour of ice, but they also give me scary corporate vibes, like toxic, scary corporate vibes.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, she's scary. Do you know who I really like? Who's the um the lady who always um she was a veteran like back in the day with Kelly and Judy? And she's the one that comes and sees them when they get cut. She's like, oh, she's like the mama bear. I don't know her name.

SPEAKER_03

I don't know her name either, but she's lovely. She's really lovely. And whenever I see her come in, I'm like, oh you'd hate it. Like if you're like, she saw that lady, like it's like the grim reap the friendliest grim reaper ever.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, she's the TCC Grim Reaper.

SPEAKER_03

Like, oh no, not you. Not you.

SPEAKER_00

You're so nice, but I don't want you to come and get me.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, yeah. Um, the other thing, you know, like some of the chat online about like all these people watching on social media going, oh look at that line, what a mess. Oh, we have eight people in a fizzy team at Teams time. It is so goddamn hard. We do not have 36 people on the field moving at pace to hit a line every 10 meters.

SPEAKER_06

What is wrong with people? I I know, I know. And it's like, you don't do it. I know you don't dance. You people don't do it. 100% just an armchair expert. I honestly, I just got hot sweats when you said that about teams. It makes me it makes literally break out in hives.

SPEAKER_03

Hives, I know. I get that time of year. I get so we've got to do a Teams episode.

SPEAKER_06

Oh yeah. I'm like I'm vomiting in my mouth thinking about it.

SPEAKER_03

I I'm starting to get that about marching that that reaction as well.

SPEAKER_06

It's just the thing with Teams, it is the it's finding your fucking corner. And I'm like You're always in the front and just short. Which sucks. I'm always at the back. I would rather it. I'd rather put me in a position where it doesn't matter. Yeah. But it's you're always in the worst. This is why I like this is why I like competing as an individual. I love being a team. I like individual. Because you know what?

Teams Vs Individual

SPEAKER_06

If I can't find my corner, that's a me problem. Yes, I know.

SPEAKER_03

That's what I mean. That's a me problem. I've said that to Anna before. I was like, I don't know if I click with teams. This is like ribbon comp. That's what I mean when I say I don't think ribbon comp is for everyone. Just like Teams isn't for everyone. Oh, there's so many different parts of fizzy. You can pick and choose. You don't have to do it all. Yeah, you don't. Um, and you're not doing it this year.

SPEAKER_06

Well, you're not doing the novice and intermediate.

SPEAKER_03

You're gonna do the over 40 teams.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Still not happy about it.

SPEAKER_06

Just you guys did so well last year. Oh, just keep us in B grade. I keep saying it to everyone. I'm like, just keep us in B grade. No, we've already gone up. We've already gone up. They're like we're where we're supposed to be. And I'm like, no. No, please be funny. No, it um it freaks me out. But that's okay. I'm just putting it to the back of my head.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Just back there it goes. And I'll just let the team down.

SPEAKER_03

I'm totally with you. November, I'm totally with you. I just think, you know, you can throw your own show and march out on the right, but you don't want to do that for all the little ladies.

SPEAKER_06

No, so that's why it's giving me hives.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Fizzy Book Club. Oh, yeah, so you read it. I finished it. Oh, I've just about finished it.

SPEAKER_06

And you know, because we all seem to be starting a campaign that we're gonna get Lisa, by the way, back into Fizzy. Did you see her um her dancing? Well, her no, she wasn't doing dance. Oh I I haven't seen her dance, but did you see

Lady Lisa Wilkinson

SPEAKER_06

her um doing a deadlift?

SPEAKER_03

Oh no.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, so she put on social, she did this awesome PB deadlift. And I was like, the fizzy floor's calling your name. Oh, 100%. And of course the fizzy community is getting around that post and we're all like liking it. And she wrote back and she's like, Yeah, maybe it is like as a joke. And I went, Oh well, I know a good podcast.

SPEAKER_07

If you want to come in and announce you come back.

SPEAKER_06

Oh wink.

SPEAKER_03

I don't know how I would control myself if Oh you wouldn't, you fangirl. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_06

I love her though.

SPEAKER_03

She's great.

SPEAKER_06

So awesome books.

SPEAKER_03

Um very impressive.

SPEAKER_06

Should we all watch it? Should we all read it? I need a new book.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, I think it's great.

SPEAKER_06

Evelyn.

SPEAKER_03

Evelyn, yeah. I mean, um, the Titanic story of Evelyn.

SPEAKER_06

Um can you give me an elevator pitch of Yeah?

SPEAKER_03

So she's a nurse from Adelaide.

The Titanic Story of Evelyn by Lisa Wilkinson

SPEAKER_06

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_03

And um she's just got like this worldview of wanting to get out there and travel the world, even though she's from this like tiny town in South Australia. And um she ends up going and getting on boats. She's a nurse she does a nurse's school. Um, gets on one of these boats and is the nurse on board. Anyway, she's on this ship called the Olympic, and the same uh captain of the Titanic is on this Olympic ship and he kind of He is the captain? Yeah, and he kind of crashes it. So they have to get off the Olympic and fix it, and so they put the like the crew are all out of work and they're like, Oh, actually, we got this Titanic ready to go if you want to come across. And he jumps across too and does it again. Shut mate up. It makes me laugh like it was making me laugh because I'm like after the Kylie Kylie Mino documentary and how like the my vitriol about male incompetence, I'm like, this is gonna turn this is gonna turn into some sort of feminist manifesto podcast because it legit I was just reading the book going, what what what is what is happening? So he crashed it. He crashed the original and then was put on there and went, Yeah, you know what, we'll just give him a yeah, and it was his last trip as a captain. He was retiring, and um they had so many warnings about ice and icebergs, and just blatantly ignored all of them. So many warnings.

SPEAKER_06

Say that in the movie?

SPEAKER_03

It's so much better than the movie. I I actually like if you're into Titanic because a lot of people are into the story of the Titanic, it's the worst maritime disaster in history, like it's never even gotten close to anything like that ever again. Like the level of devastation is mind-boggling. It the movie doesn't even touch the sides.

SPEAKER_06

How many how long did it take you to read it?

SPEAKER_03

Uh, probably like two, three weeks. Okay. It's pretty meaty. Yeah, okay. But it's easy reading too. Easy reading. It's not difficult to read, it's just long because she she's but she does follow this nurse's journey. Okay. Um, on the trip and through the crash and getting onto the rescue boats, and um, I haven't read what she goes on to do with the rest of her life, but I believe she lives to be like an old lady and got married and all that jazz.

SPEAKER_06

Can you do it as an audiobook? I don't know. I absolutely I wonder if Lisa narrates that.

SPEAKER_03

That'd be so she's got such a nice voice. I could I could listen to that.

SPEAKER_06

I could listen to her.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, she's got a nice voice.

SPEAKER_06

Maybe we'll do an audiobook. No one I can't enunciate anything.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, by the way, Scott's been pulling me up on all the words that I say wrong.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, I thought he was about to say me, and I'm like, Yeah, I know.

SPEAKER_03

So apparently I said Achillean, it's meant to be echelons.

SPEAKER_06

I don't even know what either of those words mean.

SPEAKER_03

Like the upper limits, yeah, echelons. And he's like, babe.

SPEAKER_06

I like how he listens.

SPEAKER_03

How do I break this to you? And I'm like, oh God,

100 notes from Scotty

SPEAKER_03

what have I said now? Every week he's like, you said something else.

SPEAKER_06

Well maybe he listens though, Carl. Oh yes. Oh, doesn't he? He listened to the first two, and he was like, Yeah, I get the gist.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, he just likes giving notes. That's why he listens.

SPEAKER_06

I suppose. So you two are the same, same person. Someone asked me, I think it might have been Anna. She's like, Oh, that could be a nice vocal warm-up for you. And I said, I think it's cute. You think I do vocal warm-ups? So this is why she can't enunciate any sort of preparation. There's absolutely no like this is gonna be a surprise to no one that there's never any prep.

SPEAKER_03

Unless we've got a guest. Oh, then we prep. And the history episode was a Well, you prepped, I didn't. I just you rolled in.

unknown

It was great for me.

SPEAKER_03

I didn't cover it. I I highly recommend reading that book actually. And we need a book, so just support a fizzy lady. Don't borrow it from the library. Still call her a fizzy lady. Wants a fizzy lady, always a fizzy lady.

SPEAKER_06

No, I love her. Oh, yeah, I need a new book, so I'm gonna Yeah, sweet. I'll go buy it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Hut, I love a good heart. Well, oh big dub, there you go. They do look I like a I like a um a real book. Oh I do have a Kindle, but I I want it as a um what do we call that? What do we call these things?

SPEAKER_03

The real paperback book. These things. Um, I love a Kindle because I love in winter reading just with one hand. Yeah, do no because it's so cold. And I'm like, I can only handle one hand out and I just swipe my thumb across.

SPEAKER_06

Coming back full circle to Fisicomps, this is when you know physicomps are in season because you know with the weather, it goes, oh no, we're gonna turn to ice now.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, yeah, it is, it is, it's gone real cold.

SPEAKER_06

It's got them real cold, and this is where they're like, Okay, and now go to your fake tan. Yep.

SPEAKER_03

In the freezing cold in the freezing cold, man. I put it off for so long for that ribbon comp. I got home on that Friday night after work and I was like, you should go and tan. And um, the bottle of red wine was like, nah, come over here, it takes water.

SPEAKER_06

Just do it together, combine the two. Can you imagine the result? That can only turn out well.

SPEAKER_03

Be real streaky.

SPEAKER_06

They can only turn out well. Streak freak. So, you know how we joke that we just talk into the abyss?

Spotted in the wild, take one

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. And there's like no one who knows this except for the people who know us.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, 100%.

SPEAKER_06

Um, I want to do a shout out for lovely Catherine from Inner West Apda. She stopped me a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if I already shared this on the podcast. I had just picture this. It was North Sydney, and I was really cold, and I was walkie with my resting bitch face because that is what I have. And I had like my earphones in, I was like juggling a coffee and stuff like that. And she came up and she waved in front of my face, and she's like, Oh but she's like, I just want to say, are you um you're from that fizzy podcast? I went, I am. She goes, it's Renee. And I went and this is why I had outs.

SPEAKER_00

Hi Andy and everywhere. This is why I'm the whole fucking anti-left.

SPEAKER_06

I forgot you said I was like, oh, sorry, no. I forgot you said that she thought you.

SPEAKER_03

It's hard on a podcast because you don't always know whose name belongs. I was like commiserations. I used to meant the other one. I used to listen to this podcast called um it's a Britney Spears podcast.

SPEAKER_06

Never listened to that yet.

SPEAKER_03

And it was these two hilarious chicks that would just talk about her Instagram and how insane it was. This was like pre-court case. Early days we know they were the ones that instigated it. And oh my god, this podcast. It's actually linked to our podcast as a recommended show. Like because I get a lot

Britney's Gram Podcast

SPEAKER_03

of inspo from it. But listening to these girls talk, I always thought that the other way around.

SPEAKER_06

You're just trying to make me feel better.

SPEAKER_03

And then when I found out it blew my head off, I was like, no, the little short ones, the one with the deep voice. I really couldn't wrap my head around it. I actually had um uh recog I got recognized.

SPEAKER_04

Of course you did you're an A from that busy podcast, and I'm the sidekick, but yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I don't know why I'm getting recognised. But I was at work on Friday tapping away, and um my workmates are like uh fan over here waiting for you, and I was like, What? And she was like, Oh hi, I'm Jess from Woi Woy, and I was like, Oh my god, the podcast! And my workmates are like, Oh, how big's your head now, mate. Huge. We love to give each other shit.

SPEAKER_04

We actually really like it though.

SPEAKER_06

So, like, if you do see us, let us know. We just think that we're talking.

SPEAKER_03

I just told everyone I'd talk to inanimate objects like Stevo. I'm not gonna knock you back for a hay.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, we just like we like we yeah, we genuinely love a chat. Yeah, yeah. So that was.

SPEAKER_03

Let's see how um Interclub goes though. Yeah, everyone's like, might have to set up a table or something.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, it's no way.

SPEAKER_03

There's gonna be a lot of talking. And everyone's like, no, we're good things. I do feel like there's gonna be a lot of chats. I know I'm up for it, but it's gonna be a big day.

SPEAKER_06

Well, I it's great for me because I'll just be like, oh no, she's over there.

SPEAKER_03

Oh no, I'm not Renee. Oh, okay, see ya. You're gonna be you're like the Reese. You're like the Reese from DCC. I am but not Reese. Who am I? Gorgeous.

SPEAKER_06

I'm gonna be the who's the one that gets like minimal air time.

SPEAKER_03

I'm gonna be the I only found out about Tori this year. I'm Tori. Who's Tori?

SPEAKER_06

Exactly.

SPEAKER_03

I'm Tori. Um, you know who I am? Who? Klein. Oh, you are shit. I was watching that. I was like, shut up, Klein Redet. I know. I love her that's like. I don't know. I think you know, with people who like tact like myself, you've got to get past the abrasive way that they communicate because they always have a good message at heart. 100%. And they've got an idea about the way things can be improved. We just don't nail like delivery.

SPEAKER_04

As Kelly called that.

SPEAKER_03

Kelly is our farm down, the timing. The timing, Klein. It's the timing. She also got the timing pretty wrong herself that she admitted in that last episode. The timing's bad all the time.

SPEAKER_06

The timing is just thing glass.

SPEAKER_03

What about when they said to Faith, oh, you've got bad posture? I'm like, oh man, she just made the team.

SPEAKER_06

What is wrong with the re Oh I was like feeling I know we like circle back to DCC, but when I was watching it, I would be gutted if I was watching like the fizzy equivalent, like being so excited that I made this team. And then watching it going like scraped, absolutely scraped in by the skin of my teeth. Yes. Like that was that that whole series was just about how she scraped in.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and she's good. She is she loves great. I love watching her. I love the ponytails.

SPEAKER_06

I love how she's they're like, put her in a ponytail. Yeah, she looks amazing. I reckon there's some bitter chicks out there going, why does she have to get to wear a ponytail?

SPEAKER_03

Why is she the only person in history that got to wear a ponytail?

SPEAKER_06

And I am here I am curling my hair to bloody Kingdom Come.

SPEAKER_03

You know, the other thing that I laughed about is that um she's like um the DCC Russell Crow because she's actually New Zealander and we're just all pretending. Classy. No, she's a Kiwi. I'm like, she's not an Aussie. She's a New Zealander. I know. Let them have some time in the sun. I know.

SPEAKER_06

Just for five seconds. They're very I feel like the Kiwis though are very um oh what's the word I'm looking for? They're just very co comfortable in who they are.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, and they don't actually care if we steal their people. Whatever. They actually don't give a fuck.

SPEAKER_06

They're just like, that's really sad for you, Australia.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you must be really insecure.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

They're so secure, they're like, oh, that's really embarrassing for you.

SPEAKER_01

I know you care about that stuff, you silly little sausages.

SPEAKER_03

Every time I go over there for family stuff, I'm like, I'm just gonna keep my mouth shut and just keep a low profile. How does that go for you? It's hard. Yeah. I have to go see the therapist whenever I get home from a trip because I've really just been keeping the Renee stuffed under a rug for a week.

SPEAKER_04

So good. It's so funny.

SPEAKER_03

Oh well, what's coming up next?

SPEAKER_06

Well, interglobs. This is it. Where like that train, that train has left the station and we are on the November.

SPEAKER_03

Buckle up. I guess that's a good thing about ribbon comp is like you know you're on the train.

SPEAKER_06

Yep, it's kicking off. Like that's the kick off. Chugga, chugga, chugga, chugga, chugga. We're in. We can't get off. If you don't know you're in comp season, you wake up low one. Don't know where you've been, but two, you know you're in it when you go on the Biswap sell pages and they are through. They're like banging out new things every two seconds.

SPEAKER_03

With 40 comments underneath.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Nil, nil, nil, nil! It's like the 20th nil, and you're like, don't bother.

SPEAKER_06

Especially when it's like a Diamondy number. You're like, oh, I'll get that.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll I'll get that as number 37.

SPEAKER_06

And don't worry, Renee's got her Diamonty's, guys. Yeah, cups. Cups came back.

SPEAKER_03

Cups did me a little favour and sorted me out with the contacts. Can't wait for her to get back.

SPEAKER_06

She's got to get she's never coming back. Yeah, no, I wouldn't come back from Bali. Do you know all these all these apter ladies like, yes, stay over there?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, don't come back. Stay there, cups. Start aptering barley.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, there you go. You can be team Bali. Um, yep, so interclubs are well and truly on their way. We have got a very we're gonna have to coord coordinate calendars because we have said yes to a lot of things.

SPEAKER_03

I know. I'm already thinking about November. We need to book accommodation for November.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I'm we were talking about this the other day. I'm not doing a BJP Finals champion girl on the Monday and trying to get home. Oh no, no, it's new.

SPEAKER_03

Don't don't forget, I think um EP's the night before. It is the night before. We're gonna have to spend a week in dial yard.

SPEAKER_06

If any bloody association wants to put us up, I'll be very appreciative. Oh we'd love that.

SPEAKER_03

I know we drop this all the time, but like Or a hotel wants, you know, us to give them a little bit of um airtime, like, you know, the soft now, or you know, iHate, or like any brands want to put us up, we'll do something socials.

SPEAKER_06

Um I do have a potty pig. Oh, good. Don't hear my potty pig. My potty pick, I know we've we've kind of semi-mentioned it before, but because now I actually physically went to it, um, for my Kim A, Starwigs.

SPEAKER_03

Starwigs. Starwigs. Starwigs for people in New South Wales.

SPEAKER_06

Well, no, so here's the hack for you. Okay, so Starwigs, which majority of the fizzy community across all codes, right? We're all going to Starwigs. Yeah. There's one in Paddy's Markets, and they've also got a shop in Paramatta. Paramatta, Westfield Parramatta. What they do is this is all for your hair pieces. If you you want to wear a hair piece, they colour match for you. Um, they look at the length, they even cut it. Supposedly, there's like two or three styles that most fizzy people do. I got the heat resistance one. Yeah, cool. So you can wash it. Yeah, she said up to like I think it was like 180 degrees or whatever. But it's a lot softer. Yeah, right. But they have an online store. Yeah. So you do, you can shop online and they're very lovely that they even um take photos. If you take a photo, so either a if you already know what the colour is, or you know someone who has the colour and kept the tag. Oh, yep. Um, you can just um email them, or you can even look online and find that colour and you can book it. Otherwise, you can also take a photo of your hair in the position like the height that you want, um, in daylight and message them, and they do try to colour match it for you that way, and they will send it out. And they are bloody lovely and they're so efficient. Oh wow, or they're real, real responsive. They're really responsive, but in person. If you walk in, you go to them, I'm a fizzy girl, and they go, Yeah, I've got you.

SPEAKER_03

Oh they're so good.

SPEAKER_06

So I highly, highly recommend, and it was really it feels really nice quality too. Which one did you go to? The city. I went into Patty's, but I couldn't find it. Messaging everyone going, What the fuck is this thing? Like, oh, you'll find it. It's the one with all the weeks. I did. I was like, I haven't been to Patty's Markets. Yeah, no, I haven't been since I was a teenager. Yeah. Like walking around going, get the train from Gosford Station on Saturday and go to Patty's Markets for the day. I found and she was so lovely, she was like, Do you want me to cut it for you? Oh. And I mistakenly said no. So now I have to take it to my hairdresser and go shoes different, which she will laugh in my face, but that's okay.

SPEAKER_03

I wonder if um you cut some of your hair off and put it in an embol. That's so fucking creepy.

SPEAKER_06

They colour match it that way. Look, they probably could, but they also might call the police.

SPEAKER_00

They're like, this one doesn't have a name on it. We don't know who to call. To tell them they're all I'd do something like that. Here's my hair sample. I've got to put my name on it.

SPEAKER_02

I wonder if anyone's ever done that. Cut a little piece of hair off.

SPEAKER_04

Oh my god. No. So that's it. That's my that's my potty pick, guys. We're we're doing it. We're in. Strapping. Star wigs. Starwigs.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe I should go down there and see them. Go in. They're really lovely. They're really, really nice. Yeah, Scott. I'll come for a day. Scott thinks it's just I don't care. I don't care.

SPEAKER_03

Scott, I think what about you? I think Scott's on my earlier key message of maybe sort the work out first before you strive to sort of.

SPEAKER_06

We're about to do a run through. I'm gonna let you pick one. Which one do you want to work through? Uh one of the easier ones, please.

SPEAKER_03

Probably um all those arms in exercise.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, yeah, we'll do that.

SPEAKER_03

Because I yeah, I always put my arms out the wrong way.

SPEAKER_06

Alright, we're about well, we're gonna go and work on that right now.

SPEAKER_03

Oh god, back to it. Had a week off.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, you gotta come back. Gotta gotta get back into it. Not to stress you out, but we're on the countdown. Oh dear. Alright, everyone, well, please make sure you like, subscribe, review, share. Keep practicing. Keep practicing. Keep freaking it.

SPEAKER_03

We're in it too.

SPEAKER_06

Let's normalize falling over in fizzy.

SPEAKER_03

And just making lots of mistakes. Happens to everyone. Just get out there. It's just fizzy. Yeah, it's not a big deal. Nah. It's not a big deal, guys. Even though we made a podcast about it. This is a big deal. But that's not a big deal.

SPEAKER_04

Love yes. Love you.

SPEAKER_03

This episode was recorded on Dark and Jung Country. We pay respect to the traditional owners of the lands that we call home. We honour the Dark and Jun elders, past and present.

SPEAKER_06
