Alyse Munoz, EdD, LCSW

Alyse Munoz is a therapist and performance psychology practitioner centered on one core idea: pressure changes everything. How we think, react, perform, and see ourselves. Her work lives at the intersection of mental health, nervous system science, and human performance, helping people stop fighting the hard parts of life and start understanding them.

Rather than chasing polished success or productivity myths, Alyse challenges the rules of performance culture — the belief that we must always optimize, win, or hold it together. She’s known for translating psychology into real-world language and reframing stress, fear, and discomfort as part of growth, not failure.

On Under Pressure, she explores what happens inside the mind and body when the stakes feel high — and how to stay steady, adaptive, and human within it.
