Host Sarah Swift, wife, mother of three teenagers, entrepreneur, and hairstylist for over three decades, wants to help overwhelmed and stressed moms end the feeling of always missing out. The feeling that they have to choose work or family, well-being or burnout, business roles or an authentic lifestyle of ease. Guiding with the personal experience of wisdom after decades of repeating these negative cycles and including a few traumatic life events, lead her to her own transformation with spiritual faith along the journey.

The decision to choose now as the time to experience joy and fulfillment by integrating, instead of waiting is very difficult, especially for many mothers serving in multiple roles as business owners and service providers. The cycle of depletion has a negative ripple affect on these mamas, their families, work experience and much more.

Sarah's ultimate soul's desire to become a mother was an unexpected challenge. She experienced health issues that included  her chemical sensitivities in the traditional salon environment, infertility and the heartache of multiple miscarriages. Finally when she became a mother she missed so much time with her three children who are now teenagers, especially after starting a new business during the recession while her husband was laid off.

This podcast includes resilience and strong faith with the belief that how we experience time is very important. We can't change what already happened, but we can choose differently now in each moment. Her mindset shift includes a holistic lifestyle of the many choices and approaches to physical and mental challenges available. The courage to try new things, even when it's not the social or industry norm. We are all here with uniqueness meant for our own soul's purpose guided by an inner-knowing.

If you can relate to the fear of missing out with your children and putting your needs last, you don't have to feel alone anymore. Sarah Swift

Welcome to the Integrative Mother Experience Podcast. I'm your host, Sarah Swift, wife, mother of three teenagers, entrepreneur, and hairstylist. For over three decades, I have worn many hats, including dance, sports, and dog mama. My ultimate soul's desire to become a mother was an unexpected challenge. Then as I experienced the heartache of multiple miscarriages, and finally when I had my now teenagers, I missed so much time with them while working long hours. I was desperately seeking balance and giving from an empty cup. This podcast includes resilience and strong faith as I found myself stressed, overwhelmed, and depleted along my life journey from multiple health issues to starting a business in a recession with a toddler and a baby while my husband was laid off. I will share the lessons I learned, even why I almost gave up my business over a decade later. Finally, after decades of repeating cycles of burnout. My mindset shifted leading to my decisions that paved the way to my current lifestyle of freedom and blessings. The unexpected events that happened next may surprise you, but I have a strong foundation now, and I have learned to trust my inner knowing, guiding me with courage to choose wisely rather than to react to things I can't control. Time is my number one asset. I can't change what already happened, but I can choose differently now. Can you relate to the fear of missing out with your children? You don't have to feel alone anymore. Join my community of like-hearted mothers, focused on overall wellness and giving from an overflowing cup. If your desire is to prioritize your time and experience joy and fulfillment, join me for a combination of stories and guest interviews starting in season one next year.
