Hello! My name is Jess Goetz. I have lived in Cambridge for 15 years, and I have been a Cambridge public school parent for the last decade. I am a big fan of civic engagement, long walks, my kids and husband, and any kind of cake. 

I have long followed the work of the School Committee; I even ran for School Committee in 2025. It is my belief that more public engagement with and attention to the School Committee will benefit our school district and our city. And so I created this podcast to give people an easy, quick, and maybe even entertaining way to follow the work of the Cambridge School Committee.
