Under The Hood
Under The Hood is a podcast about what actually makes people tick.
Dan sits down with thinkers, builders, creatives, and everyday high performers to explore the beliefs, habits, decisions, and inner frameworks that shape their lives.
Some episodes are deep, honest solo reflections.
Others are long-form conversations that go beneath the surface to uncover how people think, act, and evolve.
Just real conversations, practical insight, and unfiltered lessons you can apply to your own life.
If you’re interested in personal growth, mental models, self-mastery, and understanding the human operating system → this podcast is for you.

Remember when you used to send it?
Back in your early 20s, life felt lighter. Less responsibility. Less to lose. Decisions were quick, risks felt fun, and you didn’t need a ten step plan just to do something you actually wanted to do.
In this solo episode, I’m talking about that version of you - the one who moved fast, backed himself, and didn’t let fear negotiate every decision. Because somewhere between “I’ve got time” and “I’ve got kids, bills, and a reputation,” a lot of us start playing it safe… and slowly forget what freedom felt like.
If you’ve been feeling like you’ve dulled down, overthought everything, or lost that edge you used to have - this is the reminder (and the nudge) you need.
Question for you while you listen: where did you stop sending it… and what would it look like to start again?
