SPEAKER_06

We're live from the cave. Episode 17.

SPEAKER_02

Seventeen. Gene show me a soda.

SPEAKER_06

Bro, we're getting up there, dog. Quick.

SPEAKER_02

Seventeen. That feels like we've put in some work.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, we've put in kind of quite a bit of work.

SPEAKER_02

I mean sweat equity.

SPEAKER_06

I I don't think sweating yet.

SPEAKER_02

Well, look, there might not be any real equity. But we can always tell people we got sweat equity.

SPEAKER_06

That's right.

SPEAKER_02

Into this.

SPEAKER_06

I'd rather have a lot of sweat than a percentage.

SPEAKER_02

Oh.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, yeah, you get a percentage of zero.

SPEAKER_02

We're doing it for the love of the game. That's right. We do it for the love of the game, not for the money.

SPEAKER_06

At least for now.

SPEAKER_02

For now. We're gonna get there one day. You're gonna look up, we're gonna be somebody. Barstool or our email is we're not experts1 at gmail.com if you want to get active.

SPEAKER_06

Man, Dave, you really have an opportunity to get in on something great.

SPEAKER_02

I'm gonna change Barstool's life.

SPEAKER_06

For the worst. Ah, you remember when he sold it and then bought it back for a dollar? It's a G move. If he said if he signs us, it will only be worth a dollar.

SPEAKER_05

We'd lose billions. He'd be like, it'd be like who like Conor McGregor. Who the fuck is that going?

SPEAKER_02

He's gonna be like, Well, how much do you guys need to quit your jobs currently? He's like, I'll give you half of that.

SPEAKER_05

I need 20 million. And now look at us. We done signed a $10 billion deal.

SPEAKER_02

It'd be like Brandon Aubrey. No, he has like 20 mil guaranteed.

unknown

Man.

SPEAKER_02

Let's get straight into the news then.

SPEAKER_06

There's a lot that's been going on, man. What's your favorite movie?

SPEAKER_02

We're gonna start from the smallest to the biggest.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

It's the Brandon Aubrey news.

SPEAKER_06

Look, I feel like it's a great move. I I don't know if this is the smallest move. I feel like this is a bigger move, man. They're changing the game for kickers. These used to be two million dollar players.

SPEAKER_02

He got a check.

SPEAKER_06

Honestly, it feels like the it it really does feel like the Cowboys got a good deal. As crazy as that sounds.

SPEAKER_02

I would have paid Brandon Aubrey a check.

SPEAKER_06

I'd have paid, I'd have paid him 10 for sure.

SPEAKER_02

He's definitely a difference maker.

SPEAKER_06

I mean he scores a lot of points for a team that can't get in the end zone.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, Dak put up some.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, I was about to say they did pretty well last year. But I mean he still scored a lot of points.

SPEAKER_06

I think we were talking about this when they were initially saying that like he was demanding $10 million a year. Like the value of having someone with the leg that he has, it's it really like kickers like him, they don't get enough credit. Yeah, no, it's or you guys gotta get to the 47-yard line and you can trot him out there and feel good about it.

SPEAKER_02

It's a solid move, especially if in the near future they change it to like the UFL rule where after behind what is it, 60 yards is four points.

SPEAKER_06

Then he's gonna opt out. Like now the price is 20 million dollars.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, so shout out for he's at least in the he's in the bronze club of the bag collection agency, especially for a kicker.

SPEAKER_06

He's in the gold club for a kicker.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's fair. That's fair. Shout out to him for getting the bag. I'm a big fan of a man that gets a bag.

SPEAKER_06

Someone said something to me today, and it was the craziest thing. Yeah, I laughed so hard they said, bruh, how can you not pay Micah Parsons, but you can pay Brandon Aubrey? I said, bro, is there about a $40 million a year gap between that?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I don't know. I probably would have paid Micah.

SPEAKER_06

Well, I would have paid Micah too. I wouldn't pay Micah $47 million coming off an ACL. Just me. That's one of those things that's concerning.

SPEAKER_02

What about Will Anderson? Would you pay Will Anderson $50 million a year? Because that's what he got paid. I feel like we feel pretty differently about this. Oh, I love it. I know you love it. I I love it, one, because I called him the best defensive player in Food. You feel validated. I not even I not even that I necessarily believe that, but he's definitely paid like he's the best player on the defensive side of the ball in the NFL.

SPEAKER_06

And I think we talked about this a little bit when it first happened. You go around the league and you just say, all right, let's just look at the highest paid in every one of their positions. And outside of maybe two or three, I think we went over, that I looked at that I thought about that may actually be the best at their position.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, he's just resetting the market.

SPEAKER_06

And I think that's the thing that I hate about it is it's just like for me, if I'm on like the owner's side of the table, like granted, I get it. He's younger, he's had two great years, he's trending up, he's a great player. Not saying he's not worth it with the cap. Cap went up and everything like that. My thing is is I just can't go to the negotiating table and pay somebody a significant amount more than the best at their position to do that same thing just because it's time for them to get paid.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but if it was time for Miles Gareth to get paid, he would he would get a similar type bag, if not more.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, that's that's fine, but I would be like, look, how about we just pay you what he's paid because he's the best?

SPEAKER_02

No, because you got to reset the market.

SPEAKER_06

I do like it for Will Anderson because, well, I mean, it's essentially a five-year deal, but you know, it's only a three-year extension, so he's gonna be due to get a bigger bag again.

SPEAKER_02

Shout out to that.

SPEAKER_06

I like that for him doing a three-year extension.

SPEAKER_02

Well, you don't like it for defensive ends, but we're gonna love it when it comes to running backs.

SPEAKER_06

No, I mean, it's a I mean, it's big for edge rushers. I mean, you pay an edge rusher that kind of money because of like the premium on the position.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. But I mean, I'm just saying that since the cap went up, like, you know, players like the the running back market's the one that's gonna be the big reset. Because when Do you think they go up? Oh, Jameer and Bijan are gonna get they're gonna get paid.

SPEAKER_06

But that's gonna be more so like I don't think it's gonna reset it from a standpoint because one way you're gonna be able to look at it and you're gonna say, yeah, you pay this type of talent for a Bijan or a Jameer Gibbs or whatnot, and obviously they're worth it. Yeah, but at the same time, you look at Jameer Gibbs' case is a little bit different because I feel like if you take Jameer Gibbs off that and replace it with any other good running back, he's still gonna produce their team's still gonna be good. How many of these are like standalone that don't have the rest of the roster around them that's just as good? Like the Eagles are just as good without Saquon as they are with them.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but we're not gonna be able to do that. I mean they won a Super Bowl with Saquon, but I'm fucking nuts.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But I'm saying I think the running back's a premium position, though. Like it should be.

SPEAKER_06

It should be, but it's not.

SPEAKER_02

I know.

SPEAKER_06

I feel like good running, like the elite of the elite running backs have a bigger impact on it with a good team. Like you look at B. John Robinson and you take him off that team, and I feel like they're the worst team in the league.

SPEAKER_02

They're three four-win teams.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

They got like they're projected like seven and a half wins. I think like three and a half of those.

SPEAKER_06

I'm not getting I'm not getting burned by the Falcons over again. Like, I've been so high on ever since Desmond Ritter's second year. I think every year I've been like, oh yeah, the Falcons. They're making they're winning that division because all they are are this.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they're the Jets of the South.

SPEAKER_06

Man, I wouldn't even say that because they're not horrible.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know.

SPEAKER_06

Like they're a good, they're a okay football.

SPEAKER_02

Before Kirk Cousins came in there and turned it around, they were pretty horrible.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Well, uh, that's not true. They were they were the eighth pick in the draft.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but I'm just saying at the end of the season, they won like four games in a row when Kirk Cousins.

SPEAKER_06

My boy took over.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Right, but that just goes to show like all they need is competent play from the QB position to not be the worst team in the league.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_06

I mean where it makes you feel like if they get good quarterback play.

SPEAKER_02

You gotta you got a guy.

SPEAKER_06

Right.

SPEAKER_02

You got a guy. But my point with that is You got a guy in Bijan, you got a guy in Drake London, you got a I don't know.

SPEAKER_06

But you can pay a running back when you have a good team around him.

SPEAKER_02

Right.

SPEAKER_06

And a quarterback. Like a good running back, like like we saw Ashton Genty last year to the point where everybody's like, oh yeah, Ashton Genty. Like we are we aren't acting like we weren't super high on Genty up until he played behind the worst offensive line in the NFL.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. He was a terrible. Fantasy football-wise, he was still the running back 12.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, still solid. Right. And everybody looks at it and it's just like, oh my god, he's not valuable. I gotta trade Ashton Genty plus something to go get a Jeremiah Love.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's crazy. Like I mean, I get Jeremiah Love's probably gonna be, I don't know if he's I would say better.

SPEAKER_06

Bro, I think Genty's prime for a top five year.

SPEAKER_02

I like Genty. Yeah, I'm not I don't argue with that. I think Jeremiah Love's that good, though.

SPEAKER_06

I think he is, I think he's do you look at Jeremiah Love like we're gonna be looking at him, like how we look at McKenzie. B. John or B. John Gibbs. You think he's that caliber?

SPEAKER_02

I do.

SPEAKER_06

I can see it. I don't know if I agree with it, but I can see it for sure.

SPEAKER_02

And it's not even that Ashton Genty's not on that level. He just hasn't had the time. I mean, he had one year. He had one year on the worst team in football. It's just not fair. Right, too. They had nothing. They had nothing in nothing good offensive.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, it was terrible. They had two brought Bowers.

SPEAKER_02

They had two players. Two players that were worth the fuck.

SPEAKER_06

They had three for some of us.

SPEAKER_02

Who?

SPEAKER_06

Because they did have Geno Smith. Geno Smith. You are, you'll never be able to not be the Gino Smith guy.

SPEAKER_02

That's true. We're on to we're on to greener pastures.

SPEAKER_05

Hey, what if Gino goes and lights it up in New York, dog?

SPEAKER_02

You'd be happy, me too. We'll both be happy. Well, hey, look, it's in our best interest. It's in our best interest that Geno Smith is good for both of us.

SPEAKER_06

Look, I feel good about Garrett Wilson at least. I don't think they're going to be good as far as winning, but like, you know, getting a Geno Smith a guy that is capable of at least throwing the ball is good for a bad team. Because he's at least going to be throwing the ball a lot, and a lot of those are going to have to go to Garrett Wilson.

SPEAKER_02

Like I said, if there's two guys that want Geno Smith to be good, it's you and I. It's you and I.

SPEAKER_06

Hey, well, I've got a little bit more, a little more riding on it than you. Because not only do I have the fantasy perspective, I mean in the midst two, one half of the way to being right about something crazy. Like I'll Gino back to the Jets. Now he's got to do is take them to the promised land.

SPEAKER_02

But you want that'd be the craziest story ever. And then I might die.

SPEAKER_05

The CIA is gonna come get me.

SPEAKER_02

That would be the craziest story of all time. How about this? How about this? The commanders drop some new unis. How'd you feel? Beautiful.

SPEAKER_06

The black jersey sick.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

The helmet with the spear is sick.

SPEAKER_02

Sick.

SPEAKER_06

I wish they would have put it on all of them.

SPEAKER_02

Bring back the red skin.

SPEAKER_06

I will say I don't love it with the W.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's not the same. I love the jerseys. I love the jerseys. The white jerseys are sick.

SPEAKER_06

No, I just I just love the jersey. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I think it's just a great, like, I'm not a big fan of traditional jersey. You know me. I'm not, that's not me. I'm an Oregon type guy. Let's get some shit out here. It looks fresh. But that jersey, that jersey's just classic.

SPEAKER_06

I wish they would go. Like, I'm like, I'm with you, bro. I wish they would go back to the Redskins.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's kind of ridiculous. Well, well, you know, like it was one of the sickest logos, maybe ever.

SPEAKER_06

Not only that, what's crazy is did you see, I think it was like maybe like a year ago, where like they started like petitioning to switch it back to the Redskins, like Indian tribes are or some shit like that.

SPEAKER_02

I hope that's true.

SPEAKER_06

No, that that is a true thing that happened. I don't make up fact.

SPEAKER_02

They should have done it.

SPEAKER_06

They should have done it. They should have. The problem is, is when they went away from that, it was just in a period of time where you know everything was offensive, dog.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Like, I mean, the Cleveland Indians, they're now the guardians.

SPEAKER_02

Trash. Stupid. Their logo, hard as fuck. Hard as fuck. What are the best logos in baseball?

SPEAKER_06

I thought that shit was dope. Personally, me, if I was an Indian, I would say having a football team named after me is probably pretty fucking lit.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, right. Look, let's not act like the Seminole tribe in Florida, like they don't just be running shit. Then people's got casinos, they be getting checks. They literally have an Indian on a horse run out in the middle of the field and spear the middle of the field. Don't nobody say anything about that.

SPEAKER_06

No, nothing.

SPEAKER_02

The Chiefs because the Seminole tribes, like, yeah, bruh, cool. We got a college named after us.

SPEAKER_06

And the Chiefs. Even the Chiefs.

SPEAKER_02

Dude, yeah, that shit. That shit's lame as hell. Man. Man.

SPEAKER_06

That's not offensive. I mean, it's it's not. But the Redskins. I mean, I I guess I get it why it would have been offensive in that matter. Like at that time period.

SPEAKER_02

It's still sick.

SPEAKER_06

Right.

SPEAKER_02

It's still sick. It's still a sick ass. It was still a sick ass logo. They had the fucking the best jerseys. They they yeah, I'm glad they went back to those.

SPEAKER_06

The Ravens dropped another uni.

SPEAKER_02

Yep, the Ravens dropped a uni. I like the helmet.

SPEAKER_06

I like the red eyes in there. It's probably like the both alternates.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, a lot of people think that they're the best jerseys that have dropped.

SPEAKER_06

That's nuts.

SPEAKER_02

I I don't know if I disagree, bro. The both of the alternates are sick. I just they're sick, bro. It's just look, my take on it is it's kind of hard to fuck up purple and black.

SPEAKER_06

Right. It's too hard.

SPEAKER_02

It's two great colors. They go great together.

SPEAKER_06

Facts.

SPEAKER_02

You know what I mean? Like it's kind of hard to fuck it up.

SPEAKER_06

And I like how they do, like, I like that they're doing the all black on like the like on a night game. Yeah. Like that's dope that they're doing that. Honestly, honestly, maybe this is a hot take. I see shit like this, and I'm like, damn, bro, that that alternate helmet so sick. Why couldn't we just made that the regular one? Yeah, for the I mean, outside of that, they didn't really change much.

SPEAKER_02

They didn't change a lot. And I think that's what I did. But they still look good.

SPEAKER_06

So when you look at the only team that did a rebrand, like new jersey, I feel like if you're gonna do that, we're the ones that did a rebrand. Let's change the logo a little bit. Even not even necessarily changing the logo. I would have been cool with it saying, like, okay, we're gonna introduce this new logo instead of making it an alternate jersey. How about we make that the new primary and then take the classic logo as the alternate?

SPEAKER_02

Right. Just change it up a little bit.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, freshen it up a little bit.

SPEAKER_02

I don't mind just the new jersey. I think there was I think there was five, yeah, trash. Those are definitely the worst.

SPEAKER_06

The Falcons were trash, those are definitely the worst. I kind of here we go, here we go.

SPEAKER_02

Before there was five, but here's the fifth, and it's the Rams. Oh my god. They changed literally nothing.

SPEAKER_06

So it's actually nothing.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I know. They changed the logo.

SPEAKER_06

What did they change the logo to?

SPEAKER_02

It's like all yellow.

SPEAKER_06

What did that what did they have before?

SPEAKER_02

Like little like I think it was like a white, like it was like a white interior with a yellow outline. But it's literally like a all yellow instead of that.

SPEAKER_06

That's so fucking stupid.

SPEAKER_02

So fucking stupid. It was so fucking dumb. That shit. It was the I saw a bunch of the memes that were the Spider-Man meme pointing to the Spider-Man. You know that meme?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's I saw that a whole bunch. I dude, I saw that they dropped, I was like, oh shit, the Rams dropped new uniforms, but these are gonna be fire.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, that's what I saw. When I saw so that was the thing that went through my head when I first saw it. I was like, they said new logo, and I was just like, what is it? And I was like sitting, bro, I'm sitting over here probably for like 20 minutes.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Trying to figure out, and I finally gave up.

SPEAKER_02

It brings me back to it brings me to my bigger point about the whole situation.

SPEAKER_06

And I so they literally just took they literally just took the white out of the LA and made it yellow.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's it. That's it. That's all it is. The jerseys didn't change a fucking bit.

SPEAKER_06

That's so fucking stupid.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Why would you get people excited about it?

SPEAKER_06

They've changed it like three times.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but I guess you could do that. Here's here's here's what bugs me. You want to hear what bugs me? This is my this is my big this is my big thing.

SPEAKER_06

They did so they could have done so much more with that.

SPEAKER_02

Go back to what St. Louis had.

SPEAKER_06

Like the gold versus the yellow?

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Them shit, the navy blue and the gold, them shits with the game. I don't know.

SPEAKER_06

I think I do kind of prefer the the ram.

SPEAKER_02

It was an actual ram as the logo.

SPEAKER_06

I would have liked for them to do which I mean the original change was fine, but like I'm cool with like uh No, for real.

SPEAKER_02

Look up a picture.

SPEAKER_06

Was it the all did they have an alternate logo?

SPEAKER_02

I don't think so. No, but just go look up the old Rams uniforms.

SPEAKER_06

No, I I remember them. I think I prefer the old Rams logo higher color, like the royal blue and the yellow over the navy and the gold. It was kind of dull for me. Dude, the dull was. But I do wish like the logo would go back more to that. Like modernize it a little bit, like make it an actual RAM.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Yeah, they could have done way more. I guess we can't put them. I guess we can't put the Falcons last on the list just because they at least did more.

SPEAKER_06

I mean they didn't change their logo.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, thank you.

SPEAKER_06

They did the same thing, except one of them only changed the logo, and one of them only changed the jersey.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

They were like, we're just gonna have a red jersey.

SPEAKER_02

At least you change, yeah, that's trash.

SPEAKER_06

And they changed the font a little bit.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and you can't even do red on red, no color rush. That's dirty. What the color rush?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, they're gonna go all black, the throwback uni, the throwback unis.

SPEAKER_02

Why is all black okay? But you can't go, I can't go all red.

SPEAKER_06

They don't let you do why can't they do all red? I mean Or they're you just saying that they didn't.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they didn't.

SPEAKER_06

That's not like one of their definitely all red logos.

SPEAKER_02

No, I'm just saying like unis, but yeah, like you remember when uh the Texans with the red helmet. Like chrome down. Yeah, that bitch was sick. That he was sick as hell. I uh, you know, what about let me see here?

SPEAKER_06

Player news. This is the craziest thing for me. I feel like this is about to take a pretty good chunk of time to I feel like we're about to go in on this.

SPEAKER_02

What? The Bengals trading the 10th pick for Dexter Lawrence.

SPEAKER_06

Insane.

SPEAKER_02

Like insane in a bad way.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I mean, look, I get it for Sensi trying to like, alright, we're just gonna do something. You gotta do a move like this if you're Cincy to get somebody that's proven to help gonna help your defense versus taking a chance on like a prospect. But uh the 10th overall pick for an interior defensive lineman's a lot.

SPEAKER_02

And he'll be 29. Look, my first in the upcoming season.

SPEAKER_06

My first thing that I thought of was when the they traded that to the Bengals. My my initial thought was, damn, why couldn't the Titans have traded Jeffrey Simmons for that?

SPEAKER_02

Would you have done that?

SPEAKER_06

If I I mean I would fucking try, like, don't get hold on. Don't hear what I'm not saying. Alright. I would trade Jeffrey Simmons for the 10th pick in the draft.

SPEAKER_02

Right. But not the 11th?

SPEAKER_06

I would probably trade it for the 11th. 15th? No, probably not.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

Really? Really? So there's a fine line. Like the 10th, like absolutely. Well, for me, it's like, okay, it's a defensive tackle. Especially one you're gonna have to turn around and also are paying a check to.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, they paid him a check. So they paid, well, they pay him five less million dollars a year than they could have paid to Hendrickson.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_02

Who got like 20 cents?

SPEAKER_06

That's what I don't love about it is you're trading that asset, and that's what makes draft picks so appealing, is you're getting a blue trip prospect at a cost-controlled price.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_06

For a long time. You got five years of a the draft slot of that's gonna be what six, seven, eight million dollars?

SPEAKER_02

You could have you could have kept Trey Hendrickson, gave up five extra million dollars, and still had the tenth pick.

SPEAKER_06

Right. Which I get it. I mean, you could if you were the Bengals, you couldn't have re-signed Trey Hendrickson.

SPEAKER_02

Why? Just because the way they did him?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I think it makes him look fucking stupid because why didn't you why didn't you just trade him when you had the chance?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, when you had some chance.

SPEAKER_06

You let him when you let him go for nothing, you're like, we're gonna run this back one more time. Like when y'all realize when he was a good thing.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, like he was really gonna like he was gonna really make the difference last year.

SPEAKER_06

Right. Maybe if Joe Burrow would have been healthy all season, but like the moment we knew Joe Burrow was out for a significant amount of time the next the next day I'm waking up and I'm saying, All right, who's trading for Trey Hendrickson today?

SPEAKER_02

I I think it makes the Bengals better.

SPEAKER_06

Definitely makes their defense should be better.

SPEAKER_02

They they have went and got some pieces.

SPEAKER_06

Dude, you gave up a first round pick.

SPEAKER_02

I don't love it.

SPEAKER_06

Gave up, you traded the 10th pick. And then gave him what a three year sack?

SPEAKER_02

Huh?

SPEAKER_06

He had one sack last year. No, he had half a sack. Half a sack.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I uh Which I know that's not a defensive tackle thing.

SPEAKER_02

But I mean, he was also getting grilled for not being great against the run. He had a down year last year. Look, he's I don't love that he's old. Durr. I mean, he'll be 29 going into the season this year. I do think it makes an immediate impact, which to me it just feels like it's the Bengals going to Joe Burrow and being like, hey, we're trying. Look, we signed Brian Cook and Boyam off Jonathan Allen and now we traded for Dexter Lawrence.

SPEAKER_06

I'm expecting this defense to be significantly better.

SPEAKER_02

Their defensive line should be.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, that's like the key.

SPEAKER_02

Their secondary, I mean they probably still trash. Yeah, they have no corners. Do they have any corners? Cam Taylor Britt? Is he I I guess he probably still there.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. But did they get a Wouzier back? Did he go back?

SPEAKER_02

I don't know. If he did, though, it's not like that's another like it's nothing special. It's it's just, you know, like there's a lot of work to be done in the secondary at least.

SPEAKER_06

Right.

SPEAKER_02

The defensive if you have a good defensive line, like that's cool. The Titans had a good defensive line, and they fucking suck.

SPEAKER_06

They had a good defensive player online. Jeffrey Simmons was just that fucking nasty.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

He's the best defensive tackle in football.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe so.

SPEAKER_06

He's a fucking animal. I'm excited to see what Jeffrey Simmons does.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, now that he's a good thing.

SPEAKER_06

But like now that you've got some help up there and you've got a defensive minded coach, like I'm expecting Jeffrey Simmons to have like a defensive player of the year candidate type season.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, wait till they draft, wait till they draft my boy, David Bailey.

SPEAKER_06

Look, speaking of David Bailey.

SPEAKER_02

Wait till we draft Arville Reese.

SPEAKER_06

Speaking of David Bailey.

SPEAKER_02

Sonny Styles, J Bud's favorite.

SPEAKER_06

I'm gonna be hot.

SPEAKER_02

I'm just playing.

SPEAKER_06

I'm gonna be so hot when we're doing this, and that's the pick. I might fucking break your Mac. That's crazy.

SPEAKER_03

For Sonny Styles, I'm gonna be over here excited.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, I just don't love it, bro. You don't love it. My thing was is with it, like, and it boils down to I just want Jeremiah Love.

SPEAKER_02

Can we can we talk about Zay Flowers? Can we talk about this?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, how do you feel about this?

SPEAKER_02

So Zay Flowers. Yeah, go ahead. You want to do it? Yeah, go ahead.

SPEAKER_06

No, you got it, because I don't have my notebook.

SPEAKER_02

Zay Flowers went on a podcast, and he said that they were so injured because of the way John Harbaugh ran practices. He said that they were they were going hard all the way up to the end of the season. How do you feel about this?

SPEAKER_06

Well, they can only practice in pads like what is it like four times?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but apparently then not every team does this. Not every team practices in pads.

SPEAKER_06

They saved it for the end of the year.

SPEAKER_02

Do you do you think me personally, you want to know what I thought personally?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

When I heard this, I was like, bruh, Zay Flowers seems a little soft.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I don't like that at all. I mean, people get fucking hurt all the time. Like you see people, you see people tear their ACL non-contact.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, constantly.

SPEAKER_06

Like Malik Neighbors fucking tore his ACL jumping in the air.

SPEAKER_02

On his first pass from Jackson Dart.

SPEAKER_06

Man, crushing. Some of us can overcome that kind of life. Oh, man. But but like, bro, every fucking how many people have we seen you just get laid the fuck out and get hurt? Like, bro, it's football.

SPEAKER_02

It's football, dude.

SPEAKER_06

And not only that.

SPEAKER_02

Like, I'm not saying, like, I'm not even saying you should be in practice and trying to kill each other.

SPEAKER_06

And here's the thing, I don't want to fucking hear that as a Titans fan because there was like a two-year stretch. You remember when the Titans went back to back seasons with like the most players injured? Like played in a game in a season.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I just think it's kind of crazy to blame it on John Harbaugh.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, blame it on the coach.

SPEAKER_04

He blamed it all on John. He's like, dude, we're terrible. And I'm expecting Because we practiced hard. That's such a crazy thing to say.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, we've seen team, we've seen we see every team. But what is injury?

SPEAKER_02

Injury's gonna, you know, like if all your good players are injured, it's gonna result in you probably not being very good.

SPEAKER_06

Right.

SPEAKER_02

So he's just essentially, he's just essentially, yeah, right. Like he's just essentially saying that he went too hard. You I feel like I feel like if they were going too hard, like Lamar would have said something.

SPEAKER_06

Right.

SPEAKER_02

You know what I'm saying? Like when if you're like when your superstar of superstars isn't out here being like, yeah, you know, I don't like a football player saying that we're working too hard. Yeah, that's crazy.

SPEAKER_06

That's brutal sport.

SPEAKER_02

That's a crazy thing to say.

SPEAKER_06

Insane take. Like my as a coach, I'm hearing that and I don't like that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Because one, one, I hate, I hate when these when people have so much shit to say after somebody's gone.

SPEAKER_02

Man, he definitely wasn't saying it when John Harbaugh was there.

SPEAKER_06

Right. Even as like the coach, even if you're Jesse Mentor, I don't like, I don't like we're hey, look, that's beyond us. Like, we're past that. This is a new era, new regime. Like, we're moving differently now. So why are we talking about that?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Right.

SPEAKER_06

Why is anything with John Harbaugh even the top?

SPEAKER_02

Why didn't you go to John Harbaugh and say this?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, he's a bitch. All right, bet. Sunday, when Sunday comes, Rashad Bateman's gonna be lined up in your spot.

SPEAKER_02

I promise you. I promise you this. JSN, he wants JSN money, Zay Flowers does.

SPEAKER_06

Nope.

SPEAKER_02

I promise you. JSN has never complained about practicing too hard. He's a dog. He's a dog.

SPEAKER_05

It's like any of these head down, he he shows up with his hard hat and his lunch pail.

SPEAKER_06

It's like any of these great players. Right. That's how you you don't fucking become great by not working that hard.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, you don't just wake up and say, The great players, the great players are like, yeah, we're still hitting.

SPEAKER_06

I'm showing up early.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

I'm staying late. I can't wait.

SPEAKER_02

I can't wait to get this work in.

SPEAKER_06

Man, they woke up 6 a.m.

SPEAKER_02

Zay Flowers is waking up dreading his day. He's like he's like me.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, he's like me.

SPEAKER_02

He's like, oh man, I gotta go to work today, bro. You sound like a fucking bitch, dog. He's got millions of reasons to work that fucking hard. Man, bro, you only gotta do you only gotta do this for a couple months after year. Ask, ask, ask the Marine.

SPEAKER_06

Man, I bet I bet a Marine would love to just go up and pack.

SPEAKER_02

Go ask the cashier at your local grocery store.

SPEAKER_06

Man, brother, I'm working that hard to grab water on the bench on Sundays, bro. I swear to God.

SPEAKER_04

Look, I swear to God, you over here complaining.

SPEAKER_02

It's just a crazy thing to complain about. Man, when you're getting paid in a earlier in the offseason, you're talking about you want JSN type money.

SPEAKER_06

Like, buddy, you're not even half of that. Man, bro, for and I I don't like paying the I don't like the JSN contract. Imagine, imagine what I would say. Here's what now look. It would have sounded better if he said I want Alec Pierce money. I would have been like, okay, I think Zay Flowers is better than Alec Pierce.

SPEAKER_02

It's more relatable.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I don't think Zay Flowers is better than Alec Pierce.

SPEAKER_06

What?

SPEAKER_02

No, absolutely not. I don't.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, you're gonna have to give me some evidence to what do you I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

The fact that probably Alec Pierce had more touchdowns last year than Zay Flowers has had his entire career.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, it's hard when you look, the Ravens offense isn't exactly designed for wide receivers to succeed.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, they're gonna be able to do that.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, but Mark Andrews can.

SPEAKER_06

Buddy, he's built for that. You get down the players when your drives are designed to get to look, we don't want a 60-yard bomb. We don't want 30. We want to get down to the nitty-gritty, two-yard Derrick.

SPEAKER_02

That's not even true, bro. Like Zay Flowers would catch bombs all the time. He just wouldn't get to the end zone.

SPEAKER_06

Right, because his quarterback ain't leading him far enough. Throwing it up in traffic.

SPEAKER_02

Too little.

SPEAKER_06

That's what I'm saying. I'm not saying that because I do like Lamar Jackson. That's not a quarterback thing. I agree. He's too fucking little to not be Tyree Kill fast.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, right. That's and and this is the thing, is Alec Pierce is what 6'3, and he's running a 4-3. He's as fast as Zay Flowers.

SPEAKER_06

I don't like Alec Pierce, though. He's not a route runner. You just you don't like Zay Flowers over him because I can I can get Zay Flowers over here. You don't like Alec Pierce.

SPEAKER_02

Say it. Say why you don't like him.

SPEAKER_05

Because he's a white wide receiver. Is that what you wanted me to say?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's why you don't like him. It's we don't like. There's a reason why. There's not a ton of them. You didn't like Julian Edelman. Edelnut. You didn't like Wes Welker.

SPEAKER_05

Look, they had the qualities that you like in a wide receiver. Quick but not fast.

SPEAKER_04

You don't, you don't like uh you don't like my boy Lad McConkey.

SPEAKER_06

Quick but not fast.

SPEAKER_04

Look, Alec Pierce is fast, but not fast.

SPEAKER_06

You got your exceptions to the rules, buddy. That's the reason. But that's part of it. Because when you look at their games, Alec Pierce isn't a 12-15 target guy. He's not a catch me a slant over the middle and make something shake. He's not a chain mover.

SPEAKER_02

Can we make a better trick pony? Can we make a bet right now?

SPEAKER_06

Depending on what it is.

SPEAKER_02

I bet you Alec Pierce has a better season than Zay Flowers.

SPEAKER_06

Yards, receptions.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, Zay Flowers will have more receptions. A lot more. I don't even know if it'll be a lot more. Let's not go crazy. I I I think I have I think I have Alec Pierce probably around the 60 range right now.

SPEAKER_06

That's that's 60, 70. That's disgusting.

SPEAKER_02

It's gonna be a very Mike Evans stat line.

SPEAKER_06

That's disgusting. A seven a $30 million. Think about what you just say.

SPEAKER_02

You would pay Mike Evans that. I'm not saying he's that. I'm just saying he's that type of receiver. So that's probably where it's.

SPEAKER_06

Mike Evans is miles of the receiver.

SPEAKER_02

I'm not saying he's Mike Evans. He could be. Hey, look, bro. Look, look, you don't know. He could be a yacht. A yacht? You don't know. You don't know. He could be a yacht. I know it's Zay Flowers.

SPEAKER_06

He might be a fucking jumbo.

SPEAKER_05

I'm taking Zay Flowers over Alexander.

SPEAKER_02

So we're gonna are we are we gonna make the bet? I bet he has more yards and touchdowns. And I'll give you the 30 receptions more that he'll probably have. Than little stupid bullshit ass bubble screens he's gonna catch.

SPEAKER_06

I would be willing to bet. Here, let's just make it simple. Let's just make it simple. Alec Pierce is the expaid receiver. I guarantee you he does not finish with a season comparable to what he's paid to have.

SPEAKER_02

That's not that's not what we're doing.

SPEAKER_06

Take his contract.

SPEAKER_02

No, no, no, no. That's not what we're doing. Because if Zay Flowers gets paid more than Alec Pierce does, you better come in here fucking.

SPEAKER_06

I'm gonna come with the same energy.

SPEAKER_02

Hot.

SPEAKER_06

If you are a receiver getting paid that kind of money, you have to perform the way you are paid to perform.

SPEAKER_02

The bet is is Alec Pierce gonna have a better season than Zay Flowers. Bro, he didn't last year.

SPEAKER_06

He didn't last year.

SPEAKER_02

He did.

SPEAKER_06

No, he didn't.

SPEAKER_02

He did.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. In where? In touchdowns only. That's literally it. It's pretty important. He didn't have more yards or receptions.

SPEAKER_02

How many yards did Alec Pierce have? 1,063?

SPEAKER_06

And Zay Flowers had 1,200. And double the catches.

SPEAKER_02

What did Alec Pierce have? 40?

SPEAKER_06

47 catches, like a barely a thousand yards. And what, eight touchdowns?

SPEAKER_02

He also lost his quarterback like week eight. But that's okay. That's fine, but obviously not.

SPEAKER_06

I'm just saying, bro. Alec Pierce is not who the fuck you think he is. So make the bet. Make the bet then. I will bet. We can bet Zay Flowers has a better season than Alec Pierce yet again. I will bet that.

SPEAKER_02

You want to bet it?

SPEAKER_06

Yes, for the people right now.

SPEAKER_02

20 bucks.

SPEAKER_06

20 bucks. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Fuck it. Let's do a hundred. Nah, do you want to do a hundred?

SPEAKER_06

Do whatever you pick. I'm going to win the bet. I got cold hard cash. Fuck it. Do it for the house. Like, that's how good I feel about it.

SPEAKER_02

My car for your car. Bro, I'm making the bet. 100 bucks. That's how good I feel about it.

SPEAKER_06

100 bucks, bro.

SPEAKER_02

Because Daniel Jones is going to be back week one.

SPEAKER_06

No, the fucking.

SPEAKER_04

You don't think so.

SPEAKER_05

But do you need a do you need a spread with this?

SPEAKER_02

I don't. I don't know. I don't think that you're taking into account that like I think that you're right that they paid him an obscene amount of money, but that's gonna come with an uptick in production.

SPEAKER_06

Is it? Absolutely. Why?

SPEAKER_02

Because it has to.

SPEAKER_06

I guess.

SPEAKER_02

You traded your other decent wide receiver. You have another guy that's already.

SPEAKER_06

I'd be willing to bet they got look, another hot take. I'll bet another hundred dollars that that Josh Downs sees more of an in uptick in production from Michael Pittman leaving than Alec Pierce does.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, he'll definitely see, I mean, percentage-wise, probably.

SPEAKER_06

I'll even go a step further.

SPEAKER_02

Say it. Say you think Josh Downs is gonna have a hot better.

SPEAKER_06

This is the hottest take.

SPEAKER_02

What? I'm gonna bet.

SPEAKER_06

I'm gonna bet you this is the hottest take of it. He's gonna have a season that's in line with A.D. Mitchell in New York.

SPEAKER_02

Who is?

SPEAKER_06

Alec Pierce.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, that's crazy.

SPEAKER_06

Guarantee it.

SPEAKER_02

You want to bet $100 on that?

SPEAKER_06

No. No, but I'm gonna go that far and I will stand on it.

SPEAKER_02

Put your money on it.

SPEAKER_06

No, I don't feel good about it. It's not a good bet.

SPEAKER_02

Put your money on it, bro.

SPEAKER_06

The odds on that would be like $100 to $200. Like I would bet $100 to your $200.

SPEAKER_02

We straight bet around here, bro. We're not pussies. Nah, buddy.

SPEAKER_06

You you have not used parallax except one. I had to beg you to do that.

SPEAKER_02

No, you didn't.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I did.

SPEAKER_02

That's crazy. That's crazy as fuck. That's crazy. You you're not betting it because you know it's not true, so you shouldn't say it.

SPEAKER_06

No, I'm not betting it because I don't feel strongly enough to bet on it. Because you know it's not true. If I had, if there, if there was like you have to bet on this one way or the other.

SPEAKER_02

Like, what do you think that look? Like, we obviously think that that Alec Pierce has two separate ceilings. Like, you obviously don't think if he has a ceiling season, that his ceiling season's what I think his ceiling is catches, 1200 yards, eight touchdowns. That's crazy.

SPEAKER_06

I don't see his ceiling. You how much better do you think he's gonna get? What is his ceiling to you?

SPEAKER_02

I if his ceiling probably like 13 and 12.

SPEAKER_06

That's a 30. I don't know. With maybe 65 catches, 60 catches, like a 60 catch guy is not coming out here and he has the highest A dot in the league.

SPEAKER_02

It's absolutely possible.

SPEAKER_06

He's not dropping 60. You showed me a 1300 yard, 12 catch guy, 12 touchdown guy in the history of the NFL.

SPEAKER_02

It might not have happened yet.

SPEAKER_06

You telling me this nigga's an anomaly?

SPEAKER_02

I I'm gonna go.

SPEAKER_05

Come on, bro. It's fucking Alec Piers.

SPEAKER_02

Wait, what? I gotta look up Mike Evans' numbers. He's never done that? No.

SPEAKER_06

Because Mike Evans is probably better than what you're giving him credit for.

SPEAKER_02

That's crazy. You're right. He had one season and which was 96 catches. The rest is 74, 71, 67, 70, 74, 77, 79.

SPEAKER_06

And which one of them is fucked 60 and 1300?

SPEAKER_02

He didn't do it.

SPEAKER_06

No, no, I can tell you.

SPEAKER_02

He didn't do it.

SPEAKER_05

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

He didn't do it.

SPEAKER_05

So you're telling me that he's gonna be a Mike Evans type of guy. And to do that, you have to do something that Mike Evans did not do.

SPEAKER_02

This is crazy. This is actually crazy. Mike Evans had 96 catches in 2016. It was his second highest yard total ever.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, he probably had what do you have? Probably about 1,400.

SPEAKER_04

1,321.

SPEAKER_06

So you're telling me.

SPEAKER_02

He had 96 catches.

SPEAKER_05

I'm gonna give you a chance.

SPEAKER_02

I'm not going back on it.

SPEAKER_06

That's so fucking stupid.

SPEAKER_02

I'm not going back on it. I'm not.

SPEAKER_06

I can't.

SPEAKER_02

I like Alec Pierce.

SPEAKER_06

We're losing, we're losing people. People are gonna listen to this and be like, yeah, I don't want to listen again because Raleigh's dumb as fuck. He sounds like Skip Bayless. I sound like a Skip Bayless ass sports tape.

SPEAKER_02

It's just cause I like it's because I like Alec Pierce.

SPEAKER_05

It's because he's white. Say it. It's because he's the same reasons that I hate Alec Pierce. It's the same reason you love him. You want to see a white receiver be that guy.

SPEAKER_03

That could be me out there.

SPEAKER_05

Little did you know that you had the worst ankles this woman has ever seen.

SPEAKER_01

It was never meant to be.

SPEAKER_05

He didn't have a chance.

SPEAKER_06

Never meant to be, uh anything, anyways, bro. You kind of got me out of character for a minute. I'm kind of hot.

SPEAKER_01

You shouldn't be.

SPEAKER_06

That's racist. My man said Alec Pierce is good.

SPEAKER_04

You're the one that does like you're the one that don't like him because he's white.

SPEAKER_06

I don't like it's not, I don't like him not because he's white.

SPEAKER_04

That's crazy.

SPEAKER_06

It's not because he's white.

SPEAKER_04

It is very much. No, it's because he's just you don't support, you don't support white recipients.

SPEAKER_06

I don't see color, brother. I am I'm literally biracial.

SPEAKER_04

That's okay. Your uncle ruck is just got a little prejudice. Your uncle ruck is. That's all.

SPEAKER_06

Same reason why look. Don't get it twisted. I like Cooper DeGine.

SPEAKER_02

No, you don't. At the end of the day, you were probably the guy. White cornerbacks shouldn't be a thing.

SPEAKER_06

No, bro. I loved it. No, because he it's no, because Cooper DeGene's actually good.

SPEAKER_05

I don't like the one that they trot out in Denver. Riley Buzz. Hey boy, beginning to, I'll never forget. No, bro. I'll never forget when Cooper DeGene bought them the relevancy, and everybody's like, oh yeah, there's one in Denver too. It's pretty good. Then he played the Beagles.

SPEAKER_04

He got torched. It's not fair because he had to play Jamar Chase the whole time. I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty sure.

SPEAKER_02

I'm pretty sure Pat Sertan was Pat Sartan out that game. It doesn't even matter because he did get torched.

SPEAKER_05

He got fucking torched. They were like, whoever he's on, that's who we're going for.

SPEAKER_04

Dude, there's a great story about why he wears long sleeves. Do you know why?

SPEAKER_05

They don't want him to find out he's white.

SPEAKER_04

No, it's it's him that does it. He's the reason that it happens. He's like they he always got judged because he was a white corner.

SPEAKER_03

And he should have been. He should be judged. He's terrible. He'd be out there getting fucking abused. I must.

SPEAKER_04

They do, bruh. They'll just target him over and over and over.

SPEAKER_06

There's just some positions that you just want. Look, there's the exception to the rule.

SPEAKER_02

Look, did you know? Did you know Reed Blinkenship and Cooper DeGene have a podcast called Exciting Whites?

SPEAKER_04

Oh my God, bro. I've never listened to it, but I bro. I hope it's I hope it's great.

SPEAKER_06

Man.

SPEAKER_04

I hope it's great.

SPEAKER_06

But you but you know, there's certain it's just certain things, bro. It's just like, look, that's the reason why you see all of look, just think, here's the thing. The best white wide receivers just ended up being tight ends. Because they just couldn't be built good enough to be wide receivers, just not fast enough. Can't jump high enough typically. Here's the thing. You got a wide receiver that once runs a 4-6, 4-7. Oh my god, it's terrible. Your tight end runs a 4-5, 4-6.

SPEAKER_02

Man. You're like, that guy's fast. He must be over the moon for Kenyon Sadiq.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, yeah. I like him. Uh bro. If the Chiefs get him, dear God. We're going on another run.

SPEAKER_02

Are you trading for him in fantasy?

SPEAKER_06

If he goes to the Chiefs, I'm going to try to.

SPEAKER_05

Except there's going to be somebody that beats me to it. He's going to trade the, he's going to undo everything he did good.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, man. You gotta be careful. You gotta be careful with those athletic freaks, man.

SPEAKER_02

If you watched, if you watch John Gruden's Corbett QB camp, he thinks Taylor Green's gonna be the sickest.

SPEAKER_03

He said, he said, I had a chance to coach Randall Cunningham. And I messed it all up. He said, I can cry right now.

SPEAKER_04

Hey, bruh. Hey, I I came away watching that clip of John Gruden talking to him. I said, damn, he might end up being sick.

SPEAKER_00

Man.

SPEAKER_02

He said his potential is the best quarterback in the league.

SPEAKER_06

I just don't see it. Is it actually gonna be uh Chris Ola?

SPEAKER_02

I was thinking, I was thinking to myself, I was like, man, I might need to get in early.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, he'll be in he'll be an undrafted free agent.

SPEAKER_03

I was like, I might need to get in early, man.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, you you got in early on some some other people, you know. You were early on the goat.

SPEAKER_02

Crash out king, maybe.

SPEAKER_06

You were early on Puka Nako.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's a good one to be early on, man.

SPEAKER_06

We got one last thing. Before we get into the draft, man, you know, this this isn't really any news, a noteworthy thing, except for people that are Titans fans. Nashville will host the Super Bowl in 2030.

SPEAKER_02

It's pretty exciting.

SPEAKER_06

How do you feel about Cam Ward going to winning his second Super Bowl back to back in Nashville?

SPEAKER_02

That would be awesome. I enjoy the fact that I won't be able to afford to go.

SPEAKER_06

But the good thing is we'll at least be able to go to like now we'll have to get down there early. We're gonna have to take some vacation for it, but we can go for Super Bowl festivities in Nashville.

SPEAKER_02

Dude, is it crazy that none of that really excites me? Like, I want to be able to go to the game.

SPEAKER_06

If the Titans are there, I'm gonna be there.

SPEAKER_02

Like, I want to go to the game.

SPEAKER_06

Even if I mean, bro, look.

SPEAKER_02

I know a way to get us in.

SPEAKER_06

Bro, look, all we gotta do. By this time, bro, surely to God, we can save up five grand in four years.

SPEAKER_02

It's gonna be way more than five grand.

SPEAKER_06

Nah, bro.

SPEAKER_02

It'll be way more than.

SPEAKER_06

You gotta think, bro.

SPEAKER_02

That's gonna be some bullshit.

SPEAKER_06

All we gotta do is leave down there that day, as long as we're cool with getting having to leave early as fuck to get down there. Like 6 a.m. to head to Nashville to get there. Like, we don't have to pay the expenses to get a hotel and all that shit. Yeah. So literally all we have to buy is the ticket.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but I would rather take my five grand to the casino.

SPEAKER_06

Well, look, here's the thing. Here's the save five grand against the wall up at the very top. We'll we'll save five grand the night before the Super Bowl. We'll ride up to the casino. We'll put five grand on black.

SPEAKER_02

Man.

SPEAKER_06

And we'll double it. And then at that point, we went to the Super Bowl for free.

SPEAKER_02

And if we lose it all, we'll just do a 10 grand get even or get even worse. And we'll be out 20 grand. And it'll be a bad day. No, look, to be honest with you, this is how we get in.

SPEAKER_05

I promise you that.

SPEAKER_02

This is how we get in. For real. We just we gotta get on radio row.

SPEAKER_06

Man, I was just about to actually go there.

SPEAKER_02

We we gotta get on radio row. That's our goal. We have a we have an attainable, we have an attainable goal.

SPEAKER_06

Look, it was this really is a potentially obtainable goal.

SPEAKER_02

100%. It is 100% an obtainable goal by 2030. We can find our way to the Super Bowl by the park.

SPEAKER_06

We just might have to get a little edgy, bro. We just might have to get controversial. We might have to say some shit to go viral.

SPEAKER_02

Even if it's you did, you already did. You said you hate white wide receivers. There we go. That's the clip. That's the clip. That's the clip. But all in all, man, cool for Nashville. It'll be hell traveling through there considering the roads and shit are already fucked. So hopefully they get checked out. Yeah, I uh I hope that I hope they can get that figured out.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I think it's just gonna be fucked.

SPEAKER_02

I hope that that gets figured out. I hope the Titans are good. I hope we have a real chance to go.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, bro, it's gonna be exciting. I'm excited for it.

SPEAKER_02

I think it's the perfect timeline, kinda.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, that gives you time to where you know, and it's funny because as far as the timeline saying, you're saying that because it's like if Cam's good, the Titans have a chance to be there.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

The downside of it comes is historically speaking, once you cut the big check to your quarterback, not there. Yeah, it's a little bit harder to get there.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. You know, Sam seems uh Cam said Sam. Cam seems uh Cam seems like an unselfish guy.

SPEAKER_06

Look, I look yeah, he's gonna get the bag. If he's good, they're gonna he's gonna want it all. I get it. And it's I get it, but like, bruh, it's so dumb, especially in Tennessee, bro. Here's the thing a $40 million contract in Tennessee is the same as a $65 million contract in New York or California.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but those two states, what about Vegas or Florida or Texas or Well, that's fine.

SPEAKER_06

We're talking about football here exactly. Yeah, but I'm saying that I'm saying they want to win where they're at. As long as anybody as long as the Titans are gonna be willing to give them the bag.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but if you're telling me I can't.

SPEAKER_06

Quarterbacks don't decide that.

SPEAKER_02

$25 more million dollars in a state that also doesn't have state taxes, I would.

SPEAKER_06

But when is that gonna Yeah, but that's not gonna happen.

SPEAKER_02

Hopefully not.

SPEAKER_06

Because the Titans will just be like, all right, well, we'll just give you $65 million instead.

SPEAKER_02

Man.

SPEAKER_06

The problem is, is if Cam Cam shouldn't take that, he should be a real one like me, and be like, look, bro, I'm not good enough to take us to a Super Bowl at $70, $65 million a year, what it's gonna be at that point when it's time for him to get paid. So I should probably take $40 so we can spend $30 million somewhere else if I actually want to win. But it's gonna end up boiling down to what do you want?

SPEAKER_02

He's gonna want the bag.

SPEAKER_06

They'd rather have the bag than the ring.

SPEAKER_02

I feel him.

SPEAKER_06

That's why Tom Brady's the goat. And Pat Mahomes is the second goat.

SPEAKER_02

And Tom Brady still has the highest career earnings ever.

SPEAKER_05

He played 25 years. He played about 90% of my life.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, Kirk Cousins, though, he has not played for 25 years.

SPEAKER_05

He has gotten it back.

SPEAKER_02

And he's the second. Shout out to Kirk. Buddy, I think that's all I got. You got anything?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, man. Just looking forward to the draft.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

We'll be back for the draft. We'll be live and ready to get to it for the draft.

SPEAKER_02

We be looking be looking out on our Facebook page. We might be doing a Facebook live for the draft.

SPEAKER_06

Well, we might just be, I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

We might release a pod too for the draft. But I kind of like the idea of going live on Facebook for the for the people.

SPEAKER_06

It's funny because I can't even get Raleigh to make a Facebook post.

SPEAKER_02

I've made a couple.

SPEAKER_06

He hasn't in weeks.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

He gave up on us.

SPEAKER_02

I didn't give up. The news has been dry. We were talking about Diana Rossini and Mike Vrabel fucking. For the story. Hey, how do you think she feels that AJ Brown's getting traded to the Pats and she was like the one who broke that story?

SPEAKER_06

Looks like looks like Mike Vrabel's fucking somebody else.

SPEAKER_02

She was the one who broke that story months ago.

SPEAKER_06

You aren't special, Diana. He said, I'll just find another reporter that's giving it up. I I will say real quick before we get up out of here. In hindsight, I feel bad for her.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, me too.

SPEAKER_06

You know, being a whore shouldn't cost you your job. Oh, jeez.

SPEAKER_02

That was the highest.

SPEAKER_06

Her marriage? Maybe. Understandably. So also we were right on that. Turns out.

SPEAKER_04

He was the one who hired the private investigator. I see.

SPEAKER_06

Being a whore should not cost you your job unless you're being a whore for your boss. I don't think. I don't think she was fucking Clay Travis.

SPEAKER_02

She worked with Athletic.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, that's Out Kick.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

My bad. Sorry, Clay. Apologies. We're not big enough.

SPEAKER_04

Apologies to Outkake.

SPEAKER_05

Oh no, I take that back too because I'm coming from a place that has no platform.

SPEAKER_04

Not yet.

SPEAKER_02

Wait till 2030.

SPEAKER_06

Clay Travis is one we admire.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, he's alright.

SPEAKER_06

I mean, look, he started Out Kick and grew it to what it is. I want to do the same with Weird.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I do respect that. I used to listen to Clay Travis and what was my boy.

SPEAKER_06

He used to come on a 1045 Design.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I used to listen to them a bunch. Him and PK.

SPEAKER_06

Wasn't a fan. I like Jonathan Hutton and Chad.

SPEAKER_02

Jonathan Hunt, yeah. Shout out to them. I think he works for Outkick too.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, they do. They have a show. They no longer really talk about the Titans much.

SPEAKER_02

Man, not big Titans.

SPEAKER_06

They said, fuck your they said, fuck your actual fan base. We won't. We'll never do that, okay? We're gonna continuously talk about everybody, and we'll always show love to the Titans. And here's the thing just saying, I'm willing to just be a Titans only podcast if we just get love in the Titans community. Or, or I'll be a fucking podcaster for any Team's fan base that shows us love and puts us where we need to be.

SPEAKER_02

Which is Super Bowl 2030.

SPEAKER_06

2030. We're not experts. It's coming live from Radio Row. We're sneaking it into existence.

SPEAKER_02

This was episode 17.

SPEAKER_06

We're going to name this one the foreshadowing.

SPEAKER_02

The foreshadowing. Maybe. It will foreshadow that into existence.

SPEAKER_06

As always, man, that's gonna call it for We're Not Experts episode 17.

SPEAKER_02

From the cave.

SPEAKER_06

Shout out to our sponsor, Parallax.

SPEAKER_02

SPEAKER_06

SPEAKER_06

SPEAKER_02

SPEAKER_06

SPEAKER_02

SPEAKER_06
