We're Not Experts
We’re Not Experts is a podcast hosted by two guys who’ve somehow survived 15+ years of friendship and now think that qualifies them to talk into microphones. We’re average early 30’s dudes with very strong opinions and very average credentials—which is exactly the point.
We’re sports ethicists in the loosest sense of the term, breaking down the morals, madness, and mayhem of a wide variety of sports… but let’s be honest: football will absolutely hijack the conversation. We can talk about other sports. We just won’t stop talking about football.
Expect passionate debates, hot takes that cool off immediately, arguments that go nowhere, and the occasional moment of clarity that surprises everyone—including them. Stats may appear. Logic might leave the room. Confidence will always be high.
We’re not analysts. We’re not insiders. We’re definitely not experts.
We’re just two longtime friends talking sports the way most people do—too confidently, for too long, and with absolutely no credentials to back it up.
We’re Not Experts — and neither are you, so you’ll fit right in.

The Night Before Football
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
'Twas the night before football, and all through the league,
Everybody's got takes and nobody's agreed.
The NFL is officially on deck. We hit the final chaos before kickoff, make our last-minute takes, talk everything going on around the league, and get ready for football to finally be back. The wait is over.
Alright, this is episode 44-0.
SPEAKER_01We're not experts. Back again in the cave.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, back in the cave. This is the eve of the NFL. We are back. It's exhilarating. We're back. And we had week one of college football just happened. It was also pretty insane. Wouldn't you say? Did you did you partake in the college football slate of week one?
SPEAKER_01I did make me a little bit of bread on the college football slate.
SPEAKER_00I did too. Hit two lays.
SPEAKER_01LSU covering ten and a half was the lock of the week.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, poor Dabo Sweeney.
SPEAKER_01Pretty rough. Uh man. Western Michigan. That's really all I care to talk about about the college football week. None of the big games are going to be till next week. I mean, the Louisville Ole Miss game was probably the best game of the week.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. That game was great. The Boise State Oregon game was good. The Ohio-Nebraska game was good for a half. And then Nebraska came to play. Stopped committing penalties.
SPEAKER_02Shout out to them.
SPEAKER_00But yeah, the the Michigan, I think that's uh everybody knows the story by now, but the whole Western Michigan, Michigan thing.
SPEAKER_02That was a whole heaping pile of bullshit.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I agree. And they finally today, it's we're recording Tuesday, September 8th. It uh they filed today for a petition. And then I'm I believe the NCAA says that they have no jurisdiction to overrule the game.
SPEAKER_01I mean they should be able to. So I one thing that I was looking into is so apparently they have a private clock.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah, this special clock that nobody knows about. So if you if you if you didn't see what happened, Western Michigan was up 12-7. There's like what nine seconds left on the clock, I think it was. They're at the 47-yard line, I believe. And uh Michigan has to throw a Hail Mary. First one goes out of the back of the end zone. It's triple zeros literally everywhere. And then all of a sudden a phone call rings in to the referee. There's a super secret clock, apparently, that nobody knows about or has ever heard of that had one second left on it. Man. Or as some people have said, like milliseconds, which I didn't know that the college football or any football had the NBA shot clock.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I've never seen I've never even heard of that before.
SPEAKER_00Never have I once seen that. And yeah, so then they put a second back on the clock, they then got to replay the Hail Mary, and miraculously they catch the ball.
SPEAKER_01I think the craziest thing about that was is like, you know, have you have you ever seen like when they roll the replay, and like obviously you've got like your ESPN graphic for the time or whatever it is? And then they have what is it? Like sometimes you'll see a replay and it looks like an old clock. So that's actually the one that's in the stadium. Yeah. So if the stadium clock is showing me zero.
SPEAKER_00It wasn't just the stadium clock.
SPEAKER_01The clock on the TV showing zero. How do you have a camera that has a totally different time than anything else? Is kind of fishy to me. Do you know who's not a conspiracy theorist for the most part? I mean, I know we've got a couple that have been dropped in throughout.
SPEAKER_00Do you know who Josh Pate is? No. He's an analyst for college football. He I think if you haven't heard it, I he he gave like the best explanation for it. And I I don't know it word for word, but you know, he talks about the super secret clock that nobody knows about that had one second. It look, to me, it it feels like Western Michigan got robbed.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely. There's no way I can be convinced otherwise.
SPEAKER_00Now, with that being said, the play that they got to do over is a play that does not happen very often.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Like, and when I say doesn't happen very often, like, yeah, like Hail Marys happen all the time, but like the conversion rate on that is not high. I just, you know, like it's crazy if it was rigged that you would rig it in that way. Yeah. Right. Right. Like you would rig it with a Hail Mary retry.
SPEAKER_01There's just no way. Yeah, I mean, that's an incredible. I mean, the fact that they got another one, like, you know, it's impressive. Shout out to them. I think we can obviously all agree that they kind of got robbed.
SPEAKER_00They probably should have won the game. Western Michigan should have probably won the game. It sucks for those guys. And even worse than that, it's probably the most embarrassing thing of it all is the fact that Michigan rushed the field.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, dog, rushing the field. Beating Western Michigan's insane dog.
SPEAKER_00I listened, I listened to Tale of the Wand talk about this, and you know, he talked about being embarrassed about it and blah blah blah. He he makes a good point though. Is it probably didn't it wasn't the like excitement of beating Western Michigan. It was the excitement that our season's not over. You know, because like if you lose that game to Western Michigan, your your season's cooked.
SPEAKER_01Right. I mean shout out to the NCAA for actually like dropping them out of the top 25 too, because deservingly so.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah, Bryce Underwood, buddy. So if you did what I did, and that was watch the first drive of Michigan, and where he goes five for five and he looks, you're like, oh, I'm we're back. I'm like, man, Bryce Young really may have taken the step forward. And then I come back after halftime, and it's like nine to seven, I think, or something like that. And I'm like, oh shit, maybe they're not back.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_00I was like, maybe he's not back.
SPEAKER_01And everybody's like, what Sharon Moore did to Michigan is a shame. And it's like, bro, first of all.
SPEAKER_00Did he do it?
SPEAKER_01I think some of it goes is this is kind of partially when you have some like, oh, we want to run the ball 35 times a game.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's hard to get a guy in Michigan.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, well, Bryce Hunter was the number one quarterback prospect.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You would think you would almost think that you have a guy like that coming in. You wouldn't want to just like turn him into something that he's not. Like let him have the reins and let's build this offense around him versus like trying to mold him into our offense. First off, why are we still continuing like the whole Jim Harbaugh like culture that was there? Like nobody from his staff is like order those teams on Michigan anymore.
SPEAKER_00And none of them are Jim Hartball.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so like let's just let's let's change Michigan.
SPEAKER_00He I saw the funniest meme I think I've ever seen in my life. No. I uh it said what $15 million could buy you in 18 what 03 and it was the Louisiana Purchase. And then what $15 million buys you in 2026 and it was Rice Underwood.
SPEAKER_01What would you rather have?
SPEAKER_00I mean, you know, the Louisiana Purchase.
SPEAKER_01Michigan was a part of that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So I mean, you know, that's just a much better investment. It shows you where $15 million can go today.
SPEAKER_01Inflation's high.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I don't have much else about college football. It was fun. I enjoyed it.
SPEAKER_01Other than fact that Dabo Sweeney needs to be fired.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Was Mike Norvell fired today? Was he? I don't know. I thought I read that, but I didn't know if it was true or not. It was it's funny. I only bring that up because we had somebody in our fantasy league last night ask us who was on the hotter seat, Dabo or Mike Norvell, and I said Dabo. I think you did too.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Dude, a loss like that is like a culture.
SPEAKER_01They got out there and got their ass beaten. My boy Lane Kiffin comes out here at halftime and like he's in his little interview, and then afterwards he's like, he's like, I wanted to say, imagine if we would have had pro players on the roster.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And all the SEC's over here trying to like I heard someone else say this. They're having like a meeting Thursday to see if they can expel like LSU from the SEC.
SPEAKER_00I have to read into that. I have I've done zero reading about that, so I I don't I don't know much about it. But if they were to do that, that would be insane. Is that ever even happened before? I have no idea.
SPEAKER_01I don't know. But here's my thing is I mean, okay, the SEC expels LSU from their conference. Who cares? You have money still, yeah. Oh, okay, so we don't need to split it with Vanderbilt. We can just keep it all like Notre Dame.
SPEAKER_00Or we can go to the Big 12. LSU goes independent?
SPEAKER_01I mean, fuck, what else are they gonna do? Well, because here's the thing, somebody else is gonna want to pick them up, but it's like, oh man, now you you gotta allow pro players, so you gotta pick a side. Fuck it, let them just go independent.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. You could do that. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01And then look, they'll just they'll just say, fuck it, we'll take a free 13-0 and ride into the playoffs every year. We might schedule a some Alabama ones every four years.
SPEAKER_00I'd like to see them in the Big 12. Make the Big 12 better. Make the Big 12 great again.
SPEAKER_01They would just go run the Big 12. They would. They absolutely would. They would win it 10 out of 10 years. They'd be like, all right, this can't happen.
SPEAKER_00Not if DJ Lagway has anything to say about it. Well, he lost to Auburn. He did lose to Auburn.
SPEAKER_01That was a very good mid-game at the exact same time.
SPEAKER_00I uh I uh what else? Do you have anything else for college football?
SPEAKER_01Moving on to what really what we're really here for.
SPEAKER_00We got a couple large sums of money that were dealt out today to new members of the BCA. I guess I guess Baker would have probably already got it.
SPEAKER_01So it's amazing how quickly things can come together. Which the Baker news was kind of surprising.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that was more recent. We'll we'll start Christian Gonzalez. He is now the highest paid corner in the NFL. Out of bag. Four years, 135 mil, I believe 104 guaranteed.
SPEAKER_01It's amazing that, like, what was it 24 hours ago they were asking about him? And he was like, I mean, I'm always gonna be where my feet are at.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01It didn't really sound like a deal was on the horizon. They were talking about like I was seeing reports of like maybe moving on from him.
SPEAKER_00Look, he is he is that good. He is a guy that you should pay. Congrats to him. He is now a very rich man, and he gets to play the game that he loves.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00The other one is Baker Mayfield. All that I I believe all that's out right now is three years, 165. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Shout out Bake Show. That came out of nowhere.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Because like, didn't wasn't it?
SPEAKER_00He was like, we're no, you know, it's no, we're not negotiating anymore. You remember when training campus started? We're not negotiating anymore. It's all about football, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Obviously, if that bag comes calling, you know what I mean? That bag comes calling you.
SPEAKER_01It's like what, 55 a year?
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Shout out Bake Show.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I uh I mean, you know, it goes back to my thing with paying. Baker Mayfield does is second in touchdowns since 2023. He's also second in interceptions behind the one and only Geno Smith. He's got the fire. I I enjoy watching Baker Mayfield play.
SPEAKER_00He puts a fun product on the field. He 100% does that. I uh does he You never really know.
SPEAKER_01It's a wild card. He might blow a 14-point lead. He might make a 14-point comeback.
SPEAKER_00He is he is a wild card, but the things that I love the most about him is like he be talking cash shit to people. I love that. I love that too. The the absolute dog just comes out of this. Yeah, six foot.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he's not out here like, you know, big guy out here getting in pee. He's just little guy out here in people's faces, little headbutt here and there.
SPEAKER_00You know, like he's also an underrated runner. Yeah. Like he he totes the pills.
SPEAKER_01Oh, he's got the moxie.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah. Shout out to Baker. You you deserve the bag.
SPEAKER_01I mean, you like that for Tampa Bay having a quarterback. I don't see them particularly winning anything with Baker Mayfield. I don't know, man. I just feel like if you don't have a quarterback that that's a guy, you have to overcome it everywhere else, and I just don't see that happening in Tampa. I just don't see the roster around them being enough to be like a legitimate Super Bowl contender. I think they can win that division, maybe win a playoff game.
SPEAKER_00I actually don't have them winning the division, if everybody remembers. He likes the New Orleans Saints. I do. I I'm high. I'm real high on the Saints. That division's such a toss-up. It is a toss-up.
SPEAKER_01I think part of the thing part of your excitement about the Saints is just how much they overachieved last year. Because I feel like both of us coming into the season last year both felt like the Saints may have been the worst team in the league.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. But I this year I feel like their defense is probably underrated. I yeah. I think Shuck is better than people give him credit for.
SPEAKER_01Losing Jordan Tyson early.
SPEAKER_00Losing Jordan Tyson hurts, but you still have a guy with I mean, he was on pace for 4,200 passing yards last year, like 30-something touchdowns with Chris Olave. Yeah. Him and Juwan Johnson have an insane rapport somehow. They played in college together.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, at ETN. You still got Kamara and spell back.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Their offense should be okay. Good. Yeah, like their offense should be good. And they're in a division where like it's winnable. I can tell you who's not going to win that division. The Atlanta Falcons. The Atlanta Falcons. I can promise. Because they named Tua. They didn't have a choice but to name Tua.
SPEAKER_01You're right. But it just sucks that, like, man.
SPEAKER_00He won a job. Like, he literally won the job because the other guy didn't get a chance to play. And they asked him what yesterday, or maybe it was today. I think it was yesterday. They asked Michael Penix if he was ready to go. And he was like, I'm still a couple weeks out.
SPEAKER_01So well, maybe week four will roll around here and they'll be 0-4, and Tua will be playing terrible. Yeah. And they'll bench him. I would like to see them give that kid. I feel like Tua is about to put the ball in B. John Robinson's hands. Yeah. They're going to let him him handle all the work. Here's the thing, man. That offense still has guys. It does have guys. Like if Tua can just play some competent football. Like if he can just be the 18th best quarterback in the league, that that team has a chance to win that division.
SPEAKER_00Does do you think he I don't think he can do that?
SPEAKER_01I don't know.
SPEAKER_00I don't think he's I don't think that that's in the you don't think I think we're one concussion too late.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I don't know, bro. Like, I feel like we're forgetting like the Kevin Stefansky aspect of it.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I like Kevin Stefansky. I hate two.
SPEAKER_01I just think he's gonna be smart enough to like not put two in situations where he has to necessarily be.
SPEAKER_00Hey, look, to two is benefit. I also don't like Michael Penix either. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Right. You know what I'm saying? I just think that that roster is good enough to where like if they can get some form of competent quarterback play, like that, they can win that division.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, I think all four teams could realistically win the division.
SPEAKER_01Well, I mean, you got Baker Mayfield, and outside of that, it's like a toss-up for who's the number two quarterback in that division.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's definitely I wouldn't. It's probably BY9. No, it's not.
SPEAKER_02Yes, it is.
SPEAKER_00No, it's not. To me, it's not. You think Shuck's better than Bryce Young? I would I take like if you were like, hey, I'm putting a gun to your head to start a franchise and you have to choose between Bryce Young and Tyler Shuck. I'm choosing Tyler Shark Shuck ten times out of ten. Yeah, I'm doing that. Yeah, like I get it. You're like Bryce Young's a high character guy. You know what I mean? Like, he's a guy that you want the kids to see because you're like, this is a good dude. Right. That doesn't translate to being a great quarterback. Sometimes you need a little douchebaggery. You know what I mean? Yeah. Like Tom Brady, he has just a slight bit of douchebaggery. Right. He had a little villain. Bryce Young has zero villain. He's only a hero.
SPEAKER_01Did you not hear my boy cussing them people out in training camp?
SPEAKER_00Sounded like the first time he ever cussed.
SPEAKER_01He's growing into that, bro. He's taking that next step.
SPEAKER_00It was like he was like, let me try this out.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but but we but you but we like the coaching in Carolina.
SPEAKER_00I love Dave Canales.
SPEAKER_01Right. You got Ted out there, Chuba, Jonathan Brooks healthy. Jalen Coker might take a step. Yeah, I mean, the defense, the defense is good.
SPEAKER_00To me, like it should work. Like, especially with the coach. I I love the coach. I like the pieces around him. And to be honest with you, like his his statistic statistically speaking, like it's not like Bryce Young was the same guy.
SPEAKER_01Right. I just think his biggest thing is gonna be a consistency thing.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01If we can get BY9 to be more consistent, then that should be the best team in the division.
SPEAKER_00Like I've literally watched him go out there and throw for 400 plus. And then the next week throw for 100.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00Like there's no way.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Like it shouldn't be that big of a difference. Right. You know exactly. Like if you could just consistently get 222.
SPEAKER_01Well, and who's to say he doesn't take that step this year?
SPEAKER_00Maybe. I don't see it. Like I said, I wouldn't uh if I was starting a franchise, I wouldn't start it with him. I'd rather have Chuck.
SPEAKER_01That's fair. That's fine. Shuck's just a little old. He is old.
SPEAKER_00That's he is old. He's still like three years older than Bryce Jones. That's what I mean. Like Tyler Chuck and Tyler Chuck and Jawan Johnson played college football together. Jawan Johnson's been in the league seven years. That's insane, dog. It's insane.
SPEAKER_01His NFL career is almost winding down, and here come here comes Chuck's just a chance.
SPEAKER_00Here comes my college quarterback, finally. It's been a long road. I want this to be known. Like I was not a believer in Tyler Shaw. No, no, you weren't.
SPEAKER_01And now you are.
SPEAKER_00I was against it.
SPEAKER_01Look, and maybe, I don't know. I've just been on BY9. You have. I just have to stay with it. I don't have any like supporting evidence. He's just the underdog, man.
SPEAKER_00Well, we got something that we can glaze over real quick just because I think it's dumb. The Tennessee Titans linebacker, Cedric Gray. Probably nobody here's heard of him. We have. He's supposed to have a big year this year. He had a big year last year. Led the team. What do you led the NFL attackers? Didn't he? I think so. Yeah. Pretty close to it. For whatever reason, he is deciding to get out there on the four-wheeler, as they called it a UTV. I don't know if it was a four-wheeler or not. But some type of UTV, and he wrecked and got a concussion. It is potentially a big loss for the Titans. Yeah. For what looked like a bad defense in preseason. To lose maybe your leading tackler. Yeah. Just a it's a quick note.
SPEAKER_01Somebody's gonna have to like come in and fill that gap. I mean, this is also it's hard to say, like it's just dumb to do. Because I mean, obviously, when you look at it from the outsider perspective, like, yeah, you're an NFL player, why are you doing that?
SPEAKER_00Like I was like, you know. I don't hate that he's doing this. I hate that he's doing it this close to the season.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, well, look, here's the thing. If it's not hurt, it's not a problem.
SPEAKER_00I feel like it's just time to be locked in. If he was doing dumb shit, locked in. I feel like it's just time to be locked in. Like you're like you're it. This is it. We're here.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, might as well. Yeah, I mean, we're what five days in.
SPEAKER_00Like we're like we're here, brother. You know what I mean? Let's not do anything to jeopardize that.
SPEAKER_01At this point, you should just be focusing on conditioning, rest, you know, putting the final touches on your pre-key operations.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you're a key cog to the defense. Coming off of a great year. I uh this is also his second concussion in like the last nine months. That doesn't make you feel good, does it? It doesn't, especially in a position of linebacker.
unknownMaybe.
SPEAKER_01Maybe it flitches something and hits flips a switch and he just turns into an animal.
SPEAKER_00The opposite of what Tula's going through. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01He's a defender. He's hitting people, he's gonna be like crazy. It's he's gonna be like Ray Price in the Drewski skit. Oh my god. Have you seen that?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I have. I have. Alright. I got two more, two more notes. So they're gonna feed into each other here. So Josh Jacobs' court date got moved up from November 17th to September 10th. This is big news. From everything that I've read. It's basically just now the lawyers of Josh Jacobs trying to get everything to go as fast as possible.
SPEAKER_01They just so it almost feels like, okay, let's just get this shit over with so I can get my suspension.
SPEAKER_00Right. And depending on, I mean, they're going to argue for it, depending on how many games are missed. So, you know, if he goes to his court date the 10th.
SPEAKER_01Well, that's Friday. Yeah. Or Thursday.
SPEAKER_00If he goes to his court date the 10th and everything's all good and he can play week one, congrats. There a lot of people don't think that's what's going to happen. People think that he's going to miss a couple weeks, but that there's a chance that those will end up being time served.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Towards like a suspension, and maybe it's like a five game or whatever it may be. And that they get him back later in the year.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Or at least that's what his lawyers and team is pushing for. I you know, it is a bit surprising that it got moved up like that. I still do believe that if there's a video and it's bad enough, like he's probably done.
SPEAKER_01Man, see, I don't know. I feel like the moving this up makes me just kind of feel like he's gonna get like a four or six game suspension, then we're just gonna move on.
SPEAKER_00That's exactly what I was about to say.
SPEAKER_01Or maybe like they're just gonna move this up and they're like, okay, how about we just like plead guilty to the whatever, since it's a lower crime. Yeah, the misdemeanors. The the real thing that I'm wanting to see is like is the NFL gonna treat like let's just say it comes in, pleads guilty, let's just get this shit over with. Let me take my little suspension, whatever. If they are going to treat it at the domestic violence level, or since it's not officially a domestic violence charge, it would be if it's going to be a lesser a lesser time. Yeah, I uh that's what's gonna be the biggest thing because if he ends up with like a six-game suspension, that's gonna be rough for Green Bay.
SPEAKER_00It will be rough for Green Bay, but it's 100% better than the alternative. The alternative.
SPEAKER_01Which is waiting until November, and then they're saying, okay, you would have gotten an eight game. Yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_00Right, right. And my point on that is this is the last bit of news that I have. And the Packers OC came out and was talking about the plan at running back. And quote, this is him. He says, It's gonna be running back by committee for a little bit to see what everybody's at. Lloyd definitely has explosive ability and playmaking ability. I uh only reason I bring that up is just for the small slight little glimmer of hope that it's Caleb Johnson season. I uh it sounds to me like he's gonna get a chance.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Look, they they do they have liked Marshawn Lloyd since they drafted. It was the whole reason that they drafted. Yeah, uh well, that's an understatement, I believe. Has he even played a game? I don't even know if he's played a game as a Packer. Right. He was nice in college. I liked him on tape coming out. I just, you know, you didn't see a path, especially with Josh Jacobs in the way.
SPEAKER_01Now there's a little bit more of a path.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I uh let me ask you a question. So, I mean, obviously the Jacobs news is a little bit like it kind of you're not as excited about Marshawn Lloyd and Caleb Johnson. Right. When I say Caleb Johnson season, it's really just me being funny because I love Caleb Johnson coming out of college. You are a big Caleb Johnson guy. And it looks like I was really wrong. So I would like to not be wrong.
SPEAKER_01You just you just want to make it sound better. Look, you're never wrong, brother. Just early. Yeah. He might end up being like the best UFL running back we've ever seen. Him and Will Levice. And then you'd be right in a different way. Him and Will Levis on the same team. Yeah, look, just all of like the the thing about the UFL that will make it like a watchable product is they're just gonna just pick up all the NFL like flame outs, let them come out there, eat, and be like, oh, here's another chance.
SPEAKER_00I love it.
SPEAKER_01Did you just turn the UFL like the the NFL really should like partner in some kind of way with the UFL?
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Look, hear me out, hear me out, hear me out. Obviously, you can't do spring football and fall football. Obviously, you the UFL's big thing is like, hey, it's football in the spring, but could you see the UFL working on days that like the NFL's not on?
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_01You know like a Tuesday night UFL game, Wednesday night.
SPEAKER_00And you want to know what I think about the UFL? You think it's horrible? I think that every minute that we talk more about the UFL, another person turns off the car. No, I uh I want to get back to the Packers running back situation. I know that I I'm done with fantasy drafts. I'm ready to roll.
SPEAKER_01I'm also done.
SPEAKER_00I uh I'm sure that if you're not drafting tonight, which you won't like you would hear this tomorrow and would have drafted the night before. But if you're drafting tonight or you have drafted the Josh Jacobs news was like who knew what to do. Like he fell, like he fell to like the 10th round in my draft last night.
SPEAKER_01Did you pick him up?
SPEAKER_00No, he went the pick before I was gonna take him. Yeah, absolutely. I I mean you at that point, it's just I mean it's worth taking a flyer, yeah, of course. Absolutely. But because here's the thing.
SPEAKER_01I mean, if he comes back, I mean you got an RB1 in the 10th round.
SPEAKER_00I think if you took Josh Jacobs, this is this news is like a little bit more comforting.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean it hurts early in the year to not have them, but but we plan for that accordingly.
SPEAKER_00My real question is is say Marshawn Lloyd comes out here and looks good. Josh Jacobs, do you think he comes back to the same amount of work he was getting?
SPEAKER_01I mean, maybe not as much. I mean, pretty close to the big thing.
SPEAKER_00Does it become closer to a split?
SPEAKER_01I don't think it I don't think it becomes a 50-50 by any means.
SPEAKER_00What about 60-40?
SPEAKER_01I'd probably say more like 65-35. I really just can't see Marshawn Lloyd being. I mean, it's not impossible. From I mean, maybe from like a snap count, but how about like a touch count? He's not gonna get 40% of the running back touches.
SPEAKER_00It just depends. Like, if they really liked him, and if he comes out and he looks like the guy, I couldn't.
SPEAKER_01I would see it more like they would move on from Jacobs in the offseason than it would be to like, you know, like let him.
SPEAKER_00I just think that you could make, you know, you end up making Marshawn Lloyd between the 20s and you let Josh Jacobs go to work on the But Jacobs is nah, that's crazy.
SPEAKER_01I'm not saying he's nice. Like Jacobs when healthy is nice.
SPEAKER_00He wasn't efficient last year. He wasn't.
SPEAKER_01I mean, it doesn't really help.
SPEAKER_00I don't think that that necessarily matters. I think he's a good running back.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Like, and I don't think that it goes 50-50. I think that you're probably closer to right with 65-35.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's still a decent amount. But if Marshawn Wood looks good, I think that the Packers probably could look to move on.
SPEAKER_00It's not gonna, but yeah, right. I agree with that too. But it's not like, you know what I mean? Like, he was inefficient last year with all that work. And he's getting older.
SPEAKER_01Like I said And now you got some baggage over your head.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's true.
SPEAKER_01It's kind of a PR nightmare.
SPEAKER_00That that it is. It is a PR nightmare. I that is all the news I got, unless Oh, I got one more piece of news. Puka, Puka, brother. They're saying that he's gonna avoid suspension, probably.
SPEAKER_01That's interesting.
SPEAKER_00I it's fantastic news for me. Yeah. I uh I do not advise biting in any case, unless, you know, like that's what y'all are into.
SPEAKER_01But you shouldn't just go around who's to say that this is, you know, actually happened anyways. With uh I mean we they we do have photo evidence of the bite marks, but who's to say that that's not something that she wanted?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's true too. We're not gonna get into that.
SPEAKER_01No, yeah, for sure. It's a thin line.
SPEAKER_00It's a thin line. A line that I don't know if we can just ask. I don't know if we can just operate across.
SPEAKER_01I just think it's one of those things we just say alleged, and I'm gonna operate it allegedly it happened. I'm gonna say allegedly maybe it didn't.
SPEAKER_00I like that. It's good because we don't have lawyers either.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and you never know. It's it's I know one thing for sure. I wouldn't do it. And you know, like that's all that matters to me.
SPEAKER_00That's true. That's true. I guess the moment that we've really all been waiting for, the eve of the NFL, there is a game tomorrow night. It is Wednesday night football. It is the battle of the Super Bowl. Part two.
SPEAKER_01Super Bowl rematch.
SPEAKER_00The Super Bowl rematch, yep. It is in Seattle versus the Patriots. I I mean, we're obviously both excited. We're obviously both gonna watch the game. Do you like where are you right now? Like, do you feel like this like okay? What I'm gonna say is gonna sound crazy. I don't mean it like that. This game to me doesn't it doesn't excite me. Is that crazy?
SPEAKER_01Like I'm excited about it. I don't feel like I like I feel like I know what you're saying, and the best way that I can say it is that to feel like you're saying that the three minus three and a half Seattle sounds like great.
SPEAKER_00Okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_01So look, well I don't know if this game's particularly going. Look, those the Patriots have had a kind of crazy offseason. Like you've got the Mike Vrabel shit, you've got the You've got the Christian Gonzalez drama, you've got the AJ Brown noise that like lagged and went on for so long. You've got a lot of things that I just feel like have been hanging over their head. And you're going on the road to Seattle. I just feel like I'm not saying that I don't I'm down on the Patriots from the thing. I don't think they're that good. I just think they're going to have a slow start to the season, and with that being a road game, I love Seattle minus three and a half. I also like the under.
SPEAKER_00That's funny. I so I didn't know if we were gonna come in here and agree. Just for everybody listening, we we have not talked about our picks. We've asked each other if we had our picks and what we wanted to do. And you know, we both did. So I actually I love the under. It's one of the few things that I've like really I'm early start to the season. Like I yeah, it's early start to the season. Everybody's gonna be rusty. It's in Seattle.
SPEAKER_01We're gonna get an ugly product. I uh maybe not ugly, but I don't think I like from a betting standpoint. I do like the under. I feel like the only thing I'm gonna touch as far as like the game lines go is probably just gonna be the spread.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so the spread's minus three and a half for the for Seattle. Moneyline, which I mean, we don't really got to talk about the moneyline very much. But, you know, you got what is it, plus 142 for New England, minus 170 for Seattle. The over-under's at 44 and a half. It's I like the under because I feel like that's high.
SPEAKER_01And especially for two teams that both had top five defenses last year.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and I don't necessarily think much has changed there.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_00Well, Emma Wari, how do you say his last name? He probably won't play. So I mean, I mean, that's a loss. But I mean, Seattle's defense is legit, it's primed to be just as good as it was. They got a great defensive head coach. Same with the Patriots. The Patriots defense should be good. Mike Frabel's a good defensive head coach.
SPEAKER_01I am excited. I am intrigued to see like what Jadarian Price does.
SPEAKER_00So we both love the under 44 and a half. I mean, are you are you taking the money line at all?
SPEAKER_01I think I'm no, I'm just gonna take. I mean, I might cook up a same game parlay and put Seattle money line in there, but I feel like just like straight betting's been more my thing here lately. So I think I'm I think I'm gonna rock with the Seattle minus three and a half.
SPEAKER_00Okay, yeah. I look 71% of the bets are on Seattle. I don't love that. Better than like 90. That's true. Do you do you have any TD scores for the game?
SPEAKER_01Yes, I'm gonna take. I kind of tipped it off by saying I'm intrigued by 'em. I'm gonna take Jadarian Price anytime.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Yeah. What what are the odds you got it at?
SPEAKER_01Haven't put it in yet. Still gambling today. Still got some US Open bets in. So it's at 130 plus 135 anytime right now.
SPEAKER_00It's at plus 130 on DraftKings. I uh I don't love Jadarian Price.
SPEAKER_01Really?
SPEAKER_00Anytime.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I uh kind of feels like it might be a uh AJ Barner.
SPEAKER_00No, well look, I I just don't know what to do with I just don't know what to do with the Seattle running back room yet.
SPEAKER_01I think that Judarian Price George Helani coming out here and they said he's gonna be the goal lineback. I who knows? This is a good thing. But you invested a first-round pick in Jadarian Price, and he was a running back, so like I feel like I should trust him inside the goal line.
SPEAKER_00It ain't like he was a receiver. I agree. And well, look, hey, I mean, they've talked highly of him being able to receive. So I think, yeah, like is he good? I just don't know if I'd put my coin on it.
SPEAKER_01But it'll be interesting to see the JSN Christian Gonzalez matchup. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I so this is where I would take my money for both teams, and it's to the two studs, it's to the two stars. That's where I would put my business. Yeah, that would, you know, I think that both of those guys are gonna see high targets.
SPEAKER_01Right. Yeah, I agree. Like they're both gonna be guarded by elite corners. I feel like AJ Brown's gonna want to make a statement week one. Mike Rabel's probably gonna, you know, feed them.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, why wouldn't you?
SPEAKER_01We brought you here for this. We're this is not Philadelphia.
SPEAKER_00This is gonna be a, you know, this will be a big game. You can get the you can get the AJ Brown at plus 155. You can get the JSN at plus 135 on DraftKings. Both of those are on DraftKings.
SPEAKER_01Those are the same on FanDuel as well, currently.
SPEAKER_00So, yeah, those would be the two TD scores that I would put in. I'm actually like I'll probably put one in, but I'm not gonna put anything crazy on it. It'll just be like five bucks.
SPEAKER_01How do you see this game going?
SPEAKER_00Personally, yeah. I think that it's I'm not I wouldn't say that it would be the same as the Super Bowl, but I could definitely see 14 plus point win.
SPEAKER_01I feel like I feel like I could see double digits too.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, maybe double digits.
SPEAKER_01I think I mean part of it's gonna be like uh it's you know, beginning of you never week one crapshoot.
SPEAKER_00Drake may look so bad in the playoffs that I need to which he wasn't the same guy in the regular season.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Which is but he looked so bad in that playoff run that I need to see him do it again.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00For me to be to believe in him.
SPEAKER_01To yeah, especially to go and put my coin on it. Maybe he might be a little CJ Stroud-ish.
SPEAKER_00I hope not. Yeah, but yeah, maybe. I mean, he threw for fucking like 88 yards in the Denver Broncos game. So Ryan Tannehill did that once. But he won. He had a win in that game.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, well. Drake May didn't exactly have Derek Henry behind him.
SPEAKER_00Speaking of the quarterbacks, well, look, what do you have their passing line at, their yards? Uh give me just a sec, I can tell you. So to give you some context, yards per game last year, Sam Darnold was at 238, and Drake May was at 258.
SPEAKER_01Drake May is at 232 and a half, Sam Darnold's at 228 and a half. I uh part of me kind of likes the under for both.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I just part and it's because I just, I don't know. Bright lights.
SPEAKER_00So if it ended up being a double-digit game, I would probably want to take Drake Maze over.
SPEAKER_01Well, yeah. I don't know. I mean, he could just get put in a fucking box.
SPEAKER_00That's true too.
SPEAKER_01I don't see that happening, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.
SPEAKER_00Like the only reason I'm gonna bet those two or one of those two is just because it's the first game of the NFL season.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00You know what I mean? Like I'm gonna be a dirtbag and cook up some fucking seven-leg parlay. Oh bro. We're gonna get into it.
SPEAKER_01We're gonna get into it more next episode as far as like what we like with our weekends. We're gonna be doing weekly we're not experts anytime touchdown parlay.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you can't, it's hard to do with just one game.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_00But and I wouldn't, I wouldn't advise anybody going and taking four touchdowns in a game. You know what I mean? Like I've seen like I've seen people. It's just not a good bet. Ready for some hope. They want you to make that bet for a reason.
SPEAKER_01Do you have a who's scoring the first touchdown of the NFL season?
SPEAKER_00So you know this is one of my favorite things. Love it. We love a first TD. I fucking love first T Dave done any research. Zero. For first TDs, I've done zero.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00And a lot of the time I like to take dirt bags as my first TD because one, it happens. Right. Two, it's always the best odds.
SPEAKER_01Man, and that's why there's one that I love.
SPEAKER_00And I feel like you're gonna like it. If it I think it might be the same one that I have. Okay, well, I'll let I'll let you go first. You want me to go first? Yeah. It's Rashid Shahid.
SPEAKER_01That's not Rashid Shahid for me. It at plus 16, he's at plus 1600 on FanDuel.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's incredible odds. I think I will be taking my talents. The first touchdown of the NFL season is gonna go to AJ Barner.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Plus at plus 1400. What do you get? I think he had seven, seven touchdowns last year. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I'm big on AJ Barner.
SPEAKER_00He is a touchdown threat.
SPEAKER_01What is this, year three for him?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I think so. Yeah, I could see that. I would I would take it.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna put a little sprinkle on it. Five dollars.
SPEAKER_00I might make both of those bets. Like I might make a, you know, even one's guaranteed to lose, I get it.
SPEAKER_01I mean, they could both be guaranteed to lose, but you know, two bites at the apple.
SPEAKER_00Two bites at the apple. It'll certainly pay for it. The juice is worth the squeeze.
SPEAKER_01That's right.
SPEAKER_00You know what I mean? I uh that's funny. I had a feeling it was I had a feeling it was gonna be AJ Barner. Uh receiving lines. Hmm.
SPEAKER_01Are you gonna do like alt lines or are you looking more like just like straight over?
SPEAKER_00I would just go over-unders for the people listening.
SPEAKER_01Alright, well, I've got one that I love. What is it? I'm gonna stay consistent. AJ Barner over 24 and a half.
SPEAKER_00Receiving yards? Yeah. Yeah, I like that one too. I to give you some context, I think it's the last 16 out of 17 games. Jackson Smith and Jigwas had over 70 receiving yards.
SPEAKER_01His line's at 81 and a half. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00It's high. With an elite corner guarding him.
SPEAKER_01I kind of wouldn't take the under.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I'm not. I don't I wouldn't take the under just because of who he is.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00And like what he means to that offense.
SPEAKER_01But part of it for me is is like, look, don't don't hear what I'm not saying. I love JSN. I don't know if he's gonna have the year that he had last year again.
SPEAKER_00So he averaged 105 yards, right now.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we don't expect that.
SPEAKER_00That's hard to do.
SPEAKER_01You're talking about a 20% clip. A 20% reduction is all we need to cash under 81 and a half.
SPEAKER_00I that's one, it's not impossible.
SPEAKER_01I mean, 80% of an 1,800 yard season is still a great idea.
SPEAKER_00I actually think it's way more unlikely that he replicates that than it is that he puts it.
SPEAKER_01I mean he might fall down to like 14, 1,500. And like even if he's still a great season.
SPEAKER_00That's a great season. Like he's still a great wide receiver. It's just he had an outlier type season last year. You're due to regress. I uh I I think what's AJ Brown's on yours. I think it's 62 and a half. I would probably take the over.
SPEAKER_01Uh me too. I would probably take the over. Me too. I I feel like there's gonna be a big point of emphasis. Yeah, I think that on getting AJ Brown the ball.
SPEAKER_00I think so.
SPEAKER_01Which, you know, we're saying that we like it for the over, but it could be very detrimental. This is, you know, their first season playing football together. We don't know if the chemistry is gonna be there. It ain't like this was like an early that wasn't an early off season move, right? I feel like I'm having like a time lapse.
SPEAKER_00I mean it wouldn't be I don't necessarily considered early, but it wasn't terribly late either.
SPEAKER_01But still, I mean it's we don't know how much chemistry that they have together. So like especially playing. He could get the he could yeah, in real in live football, live reps. So like he could get a lot of targets, but like I could see them being off. So taking the over kind of worries me there. I'm I'm more inter intrigued by like the lower line.
SPEAKER_00He will also have an elite corner on him.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00But you know, like I say those things just so people know, but I don't know if it's gonna like can an elite corner shut down a wide receiver? Absolutely. I just I don't think either one of those wide receivers is they're not the type.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00They're not the type to sit over here and get body bagged.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01Well, AJ Brown just a he's just He's a man.
SPEAKER_00He's a man of Yeah, for sure. I uh a couple honorable mentions that I have. I think mine's I think I have Rashid Shahid at 32 and a half.
SPEAKER_01Get one bomb.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, he is always, he is always available for a deep bomb. He is unbelievably fast. So if you wanted to put that in, I wouldn't be mad at you. And then it's also Hunter Henry. I think his line's at like 35 and a half. I like that too. He I mean that guy he is a dependable, he is a dependable, he catches the ball. He was one of Drake May's favorite targets. Granted, it was without AJ Brown, but I to me he's probably the number two in this offense.
SPEAKER_01Oh, here's a here's another receiving prop that I love. Speaking of AJ Brown over four and a half receptions.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I would take that. I would take that in a heartbeat, actually. That's actually that'll probably be on the slip.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Oh, no, I was just looking at that right now. Five receptions.
SPEAKER_00What's Jen at six and a half? I'd probably take that too. I'm not seven catches? I mean he'll be targeted double digits easily.
SPEAKER_01I think the biggest receptions I'm gonna take is AJ Brown over four and a half. And I'm gonna try to not like go over the top with a bunch of different types. Like I'm gonna just try to get maybe four to five legs in one per category.
SPEAKER_00Right. Yeah, that's smart. That's a good way to play. I I'm a dirtbag and it's week one of the first game. I'm gonna be a dirtbag.
SPEAKER_01Well, but buddy, you know we're gonna cook up like a you know, we're gonna pick cook up like a 10-leg parlay anyways.
SPEAKER_00That's true too. It'll be very dirty. And last. I'm gonna put like 40 bets in this weekend. Last and I swear to God.
SPEAKER_01I think I've been waiting for this moment for like since February, bro.
SPEAKER_00And last and certainly not least, we have rush yards. We uh you're over under on rush yards for Ramondre Stevenson is 57 and a half, and then Jadarian Price comes in at 53 and a half.
SPEAKER_01Uh you said what what did you say Ramondre's was on yours?
SPEAKER_0057 and a half.
SPEAKER_01Oh, it's 55 and a half on FanDuel. Sounds like with you being a DraftKing better, is that some juice? I uh got two yards of juice. I would probably take the under on Ramondre Stevenson.
SPEAKER_00Okay. I I wouldn't.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I just feel like Trevion Henderson's gonna get some burn.
SPEAKER_00I don't know if he's playing.
SPEAKER_01He oh, he must not be. Now I think about it. Yeah, I don't think I haven't seen a single prop of his, so that that's why it's probably as high as it is.
SPEAKER_00I just haven't seen any news of that. This maybe this is crazy, but Ramondre's probably RB1 in New England. Which is crazy.
SPEAKER_01I uh because I feel like Trevion Henderson can be so explosive.
SPEAKER_00He is, but he's also terrible at pass blocking, which is an issue. A big issue, especially for Mike Frabel. And they for whatever reason, I'm not saying it's right, but for whatever reason, they love Ramondre. Even with the fumbling and all the bad that comes with him, there's still some good there. He's a good running back and has been for a while. How do you feel? I would probably take the over on Ramondre personally.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, after hearing that, I like the over, but I probably honestly will stay away from it.
SPEAKER_00Jadarian Price at 53 and a half.
SPEAKER_01Probably gonna stay away from that too.
SPEAKER_00You don't love it? Just I just say he's a rookie. Both defenses are good. Like the first things they're gonna go is.
SPEAKER_01You just don't know exactly what's gonna go on. I mean, I'm probably just I'm probably gonna start with like some watered down.
SPEAKER_00You don't love a you don't love a Rashid Shaheed end around that goes for three yards? Because they got a two and a half rushing yards.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I d the fact that that's I mean, I want to take it, but I'm betting that.
SPEAKER_00It's pretty dependent. That'll be on the that'll be on a slip.
SPEAKER_01He's gonna get one of those and it's gonna go for negative three yards, and you're gonna be like, oh fuck.
SPEAKER_00I need six.
SPEAKER_01I will I will take like some stuff like Jadari and Price for 10 rushing yards in the first quarter.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you love those bets.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, they're quick hitters. I mean, the lines are fair. I mean, here's the thing. I just feel like you know, you expect what, two drives. Like starting running backs you get two yards, ten yards and two drives.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I would think so.
SPEAKER_01That's why I like those bets. I would think. Or it'll be some shit like, oh, bro, like just wait until B. John Robinson's first drive rushing yards is like five. You can get it at like minus 140. I'm gonna take that offseason.
SPEAKER_00Well, brother, we are at the end here. I want you to give everybody what your what is your best bet for tomorrow's game?
SPEAKER_01Seattle minus three and a half. I don't see this game being that close. I have no evidence to to dictate why it would be this close, other than the fact that it's just week one. We saw Seattle handle business the last time we were on that field. The major change in this is just AJ Brown. I've been on record almost the entire time. I mean, even beyond just the pod, like you and me conversations that we've had over years that I don't think wide receivers are that huge of a difference. I mean, they are. I'm not trying to understate it. I don't think if AJ Brown was on that roster in the Super Bowl, I don't see that game going much differently.
SPEAKER_00I agree with that.
SPEAKER_01And for that reason, my best bet of the week is Seattle minus three and a half.
SPEAKER_00Take it or leave it. It doesn't have to be of the week. It can just be or tomorrow. Yeah, it can just be Wednesday night football.
SPEAKER_01And and you know what? Look, two-legg parlay with the AJ Brown minus four or over four and a half receptions.
SPEAKER_00So it's it's funny. My my best bet of the week is the AJ Brown over four and a half receptions.
SPEAKER_01I think that is a yeah, the only thing about that as a straight is it's minus 192.
SPEAKER_00That's fine. I think it's a lock.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I think that they're going to try and feed him.
SPEAKER_01I I see him coming out like first drive of the game, two catches.
SPEAKER_00And it's and here's the he might he might have that. It's not gonna be it's not gonna be like Philly's offense, at least last year, where it was just a bunch of deep shit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he's gonna be getting slant routes over the middle, post routes, curl routes, 100% drags, like he'll be running the full route tree. The things that made him like what he was in Tennessee, like the reason why everybody loved AJ Brown. They will incorporate could run the routes, the over the middle, the yards after catch, the breaking tackles. Like we might see AJ Brown return to form this year in this.
SPEAKER_00They will they will incorporate he's fantastic in play action.
SPEAKER_01They've got a guy that can do it. I mean, having a quarterback, you still get the mobility of of Drake May. He's got a much better arm than Jalen Hurts.
SPEAKER_00It should be a lot of fun.
SPEAKER_01It's crazy that I'm talking as high about like what I think the Patriots offense can be, and I'm so low on them in this game, but I'm also not super high on them as far as like their results for the season. It's a little contradicting, but we're just talking about a receiver.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I uh well, brother, that's it. That's all I got.
SPEAKER_01That's it, man.
SPEAKER_00I uh football is gonna happen, NFL football is gonna happen in 21 hours, 51 minutes, and 10 seconds at this very moment. So we are less than 24 hours away. Yeah. Quick note for the Thursday, or the I guess it'll be the fr the Friday pod. We're gonna record the takes, our picks for the Thursday game on the Thursday pod.
SPEAKER_01Yes, sir.
SPEAKER_00And we're gonna drop it on Thursday.
SPEAKER_01We're gonna drop it on Thursday?
SPEAKER_00Because that's the only way it would make sense.
SPEAKER_01Are we podding three times this week?
SPEAKER_00Well, look, I mean I I'm kind of brainstorming. Eh, we'll figure it out.
SPEAKER_01Just just know that we'll we got something coming. Probably.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I'm off the next two days, too, so we'll be able to we'll figure it out. We're here.
SPEAKER_01Look, as always.
SPEAKER_00We might just drop a mini pod with just our picks for the Thursday game.
SPEAKER_01You know, might just be like some Facebook only content.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we could do something like it. We'll figure it out. We'll let the people know. Follow us on all of our social media. We're not experts everywhere except Twitter. It is we not experts. Like, share, subscribe.
SPEAKER_01Tell a friend.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, tell a friend, holler at us. Yeah, send us some fan mail. We would love to interact with the fans.
SPEAKER_01Conversate with us.
SPEAKER_00If there is any fans.
SPEAKER_01As always, we appreciate everybody taking some time to tune in.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Football's back. Football's back.
SPEAKER_00God, I can't wait. Football's back. Vibes are high. I'm gonna smile all day tomorrow. Man, tomorrow's gonna be electric. I'm off, so I just have to sit around the house all day and wait for football. It's gonna be a great year. Yeah. That's better than being at work waiting on football, though. I'll tell you that much.
SPEAKER_01I tell you what. Yeah. I don't have to worry about that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you're off too. So yeah. Well, shout out, man. We'll be back. Holla at you. Hope you enjoy the pod. And we'll see you guys on the next one.
