It has been one weird week. From my lab tech's conversation, to seeing Glidewell Dental Lab now selling CAD/CAM, to finishing up my Cerec Training with Patterson Dental. Dental Technology has definitely taken a new twist. Digital Dentistry continues to take market share from traditional dental labs, and I don't have an answer as to when it will stop, or more correctly, if it will stop. Traditional crown and bridge labs need to start looking for diversification to stay ahead of what is coming with digital dentistry.
