Dental insurance companies, most of them, simply do not cover direct and indirect pulp capping. They state in their rules and regulations that dentists are to bundle them with the "global" composite filling. Yet the ADA states that bundling of procedures is potentially fraudulent, and I support that statement completely, so should you. In this podcast, I give my thoughts on the history of pulp capping, and why it was done all the time, and where we go in the future. Remember, it's about the patient just as much as it is for you and I to be paid fairly for the services we provide.
