Settle The Body And Breath

This is a short loving kindness practice. Let's begin by gently lowering the eyes and allowing yourself to come into a comfortable sitting posture. Connect to the body sitting and breathing in a relaxed way. Connect to the breath rising and falling, becoming more balanced, centered, and calm.

Release Stress On The Outbreath

Check into yourself and see how you're feeling. If you feel any stress or anxiety, see if it's possible to let it release as much as possible on the next outbreath.

And then just allow your breath to return to normal. Now think of yourself as your own good friend.

Keep sending yourself good wishes for as long as you like, noticing how it feels, and noticing any feelings of calm, care, and connection being cultivated. If you like, you can send good wishes out to whoever you wish, just sending out good wishes to yourself and to others.
