Inner Strength Meditations
Be Easy
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
This gentle breathing practice invites you to be easy with yourself—no need to change anything or be some image of perfect. You'll rest your attention on the breath and notice how small moments of mindful focus bring calm. A simple reset when everything feels too much.
Why this helps? Ease is a key element of mindfulness, it helps release tension and reduces the pressure to conform or perform.
Welcome And Intention
SPEAKER_00Welcome to Inner Strength Meditations. Let's take a moment.
Setting Posture And Breath Focus
SPEAKER_01In this mindful breathing practice, we're going to use the breath to focus our attention and to allow ourselves to simply be easy, to not worry about anything, to not need to do anything for these next few moments to be easy with ourselves and with our surroundings. Sit in your best mindfulness posture with your spine tall and your feet flat on the floor.
Allowing Ease Without Forcing
SPEAKER_01On your next inhalation, rest your attention on the flow of your breath, just as it is, without needing to change it, letting it be slow and shallow, or fast and deep, however it wants to be. And as you rest your attention on your breath, allow yourself to be just a little bit easy. No need to fully relax. Simply let your attention be easy. Be
Noticing Subtle Happiness
SPEAKER_01comfortable in yourself for these few moments, without worry, without doubt, without criticism as you rest your attention on the breath, just notice if that little bit of ease is bringing just a little bit of happiness, a small feeling.
Returning To The Room And Closing
SPEAKER_01Keep your attention on that little bit of ease, that little bit of happiness, as you bring your attention back to everything in the room around you. And we finish the formal part of the Be Easy exercise. Go about your day or your evening and keep in touch with that little bit of ease, that little bit of happiness underneath everything else that you might be experiencing.
Continue Or Transition Gently
