Greg Pickering serves as the Chief of Police for the Tualatin Police Department.  Chief Pickering has held many positions during his 25+ year career, including Patrol Officer, School Resource Officer, Detective, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and Chief.  Chief Pickering has been a survival skills instructor since 1999.  Chief Pickering has taught multiple disciplines, including Emergency Vehicle Operations and Firearms.  Chief Pickering holds instructor certifications in Pistol, Rifle, and shotgun from both IALEFI and the NRA.

Chief Pickering is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, session 276.   Chief Pickering has been a proud member of IALEFI since 2009, has served on the Board of Directors, and is the current President of IALEFI.
