Hey y’all! My name is Marie Kennedy. I’m a wife, a mom, a nurse educator, and an advocate for my special needs daughter. I’m just your average, everyday person trying to navigate this crazy world and raise my babies to know Jesus. My husband and I have been married since 2016. We live in Brandon, MS, right down the road from where he grew up. I grew up in a small town close to where HGTV’s Home Town is based. We have two children— Evie and Jack. Evie was born in 2019 when I was just 25 weeks pregnant. She weighed 1.5 lbs at birth and spent over 3 months in the NICU. She has been our little miracle since Day 1 and now she is showing us the world in a new way, through the eyes of autism. Jack was born in 2024 and is very much in the toddler stage. Both of our babies bring us so much joy and are the best blessings we could ever ask for. I’ve recently been feeling a pull to do this podcast and build connection across the community among other Christian special needs parents.
