Jamie L. Nappi, MSW, LCSW

Jamie L. Nappi, MSW. LCSW,  is a Specialist Professor in the School of Social Work at Monmouth University (MUSSW), where she won the 2017 Outstanding Adjunct Award. Jamie supports the MUSSW's Professional Education Program including Introduction to Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapy and Radical Acceptance, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and is also a DSW candidate (May 2026). Her experience includes clinical social work in juvenile justice, children’s system of care, community mental health, and hospital-based crisis intervention. She has also worked in private practice specializing in trauma and related clinical presentations from anxiety, depression, personality disorders, chronic illness and addiction, as well as providing clinical supervision. Jamie will be sharing her experience, as well as her current scholarly work which explores strategies for measuring and strengthening rights-based practices in global education, particularly within study abroad contexts.

Michael L. Kaufman, MSW, PhD

Dr. Michael Kaufman, has worked in psychiatric settings, schools, and clinics, with Veterans, with people with PTSD, abandoned children, and, of course, in special education, while mentoring many people along the way. His formal training in accounting, social work, and clinical psychology has led to a successful career building outstanding support services for children, adolescents, and adults, grounded in a strengths-based perspective and elevating others.

 

Adding author to his list of accomplishments, “Doing good & doing well- Inspiring Helping Professionals to Become Leaders in their Organizations,” shares lessons from a 30+ year career through personal stories and lived experiences. It aims to inspire helpers to exercise the power they already possess and to pursue a fruitful, fulfilling path of professional development and organizational leadership.

Shantice Wright, MSW, MPA

Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, Shantice is QA analyst helping to streamline organizational performances and improving outcomes for service users, using engagement, collaboration, and data visualization.  For the last decade, she has worked as a social worker within child welfare and criminal justice settings, servicing individuals facing permanency, penal, DV, substance abuse, and mental health challenges. She has facilitated group therapy sessions related to DV, smoking cessation, life-skills, and job-readiness. She has also served as the Wellness Ambassador on group initiatives to promote positive work environments, job satisfaction, and self-care for fellow coworkers.  She has a Master’s in Social Work and Public Administration. Shantice is currently a doctoral candidate, in Social Work Human Rights Leadership. Besides business ownership, she is an Adjunct, a dog mom, and loves spending quality time with her loved ones.
