In this introductory episode of She’s Not Done, Andrea and Kouelee share who they are, where they come from, and why this podcast exists.

From divorce and motherhood to marriage, identity, and the unspoken realities women carry, this conversation sets the tone for what’s to come: honest, unfiltered discussions about life, relationships, and everything in between.

They open up about the shame and silence often surrounding divorce, marriage struggles, mom guilt, intimacy, and emotional honesty — and why they believe these topics need to be talked about more openly. The goal is simple: to create a space where women feel seen, understood, and less alone.

This is not about having it all figured out — it’s about sharing life as it is.

Because we’re not done.

Thank you for being here! And remember, you are NOT alone and you are Not done.

Okay.

Hi guys, my name's Andrea. I'm one of the hosts of She's Not Done. I just wanted to say hello, tell you a little bit about myself. I'm 47, originally from England. I've been in America about 20-something years now. I am divorced. And I have two wonderful children, 15 and 12. So, with that being said, I think that's enough about it.

SPEAKER_00

Hi guys, I am the other host of She's Not Done. My name is Cooley, and I'm 37 years old. I was born in France and moved to Germany when I was seven or eight. And I came to the United States in 2007. Not sure how long that that is.

SPEAKER_01

We'll do the math later.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I do have two beautiful girls, two and a half and six years old, and I am married. And yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That's the short version.

SPEAKER_00

That is the very short version.

SPEAKER_01

I am super excited about She's Not Done, just to be able to maybe share some experiences that I've had. Maybe those experiences other people can relate to. Maybe it will help them make decisions where they need to make decisions. Who knows? Who knows, right? Like just I think just an outlet to share my experiences this far. And maybe make some friends along the way. And just really talk about things in life that maybe not everybody talks about. You know, things that maybe, you know, I'm divorced, so around divorce, I think there's still a lot of shame and there shouldn't be. And I'd like to kind of get rid of some of that. I don't have shame. I just know how it can feel at the at the beginning or during the process, sometimes after.

SPEAKER_00

I think the same goes with marriage because there's so many things that are left unsaid or unheard of that there's shame, guilt around. Yeah. Even in a marriage, you know, intimacy or connection, mom guilt, anything like that. We don't we talk about it maybe with close people, but it's not really talked about as much, much more now online than it used to be. I think we're getting to a point where it's being shared more.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and maybe we just want to keep you company on your drive home from work. Yeah. Or daycare.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Or the park. Yeah. Right? Or while you're cleaning. Or while you're running, jogging, all of those things.

SPEAKER_00

Anyway. You know, one of the reasons that I was looking to do this podcast is because I want to give other women an outlet, something to listen to that they can relate to. I want to be truthful and honest for many different reasons, but the main reason is because along the way in my life, many other women were dishonest about certain experiences in life. And I think it did me a big disservice. So I'm looking to be a positive and honest light for other women, a support. And yeah. Fantastic. Yeah. So we look forward to having you on this journey with us. And as we share and learn along the way, you know, we're looking forward to people engaging and leaving us comments or ideas on how to navigate certain situations or share for other moms out there.

SPEAKER_01

Share what works for you, what doesn't work for you. Yeah, life, really. I think we're just here to talk about life, all the good stuff, all the bad stuff, all the shitty stuff. And that's pretty much it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I mean, most importantly, we're just not done. We are not done.
