Teenage runaway, Kath Smith, thought that dealing with the local gangs was the biggest of her problems. Then she’s kidnapped and taken deep underground, to a place where sorcerers, ghosts and monsters are a part of everyday life. And when fourteen-year-old Tom Brygwead’s grandfather dies, he must face up to a curse that has passed through his family, generation after generation. Kath and Tom start out worlds apart, but their worlds are soon to collide, and to survive they will need each other.
