That was nice. Are you complete? That was nice. Yeah. So welcome to wisdom and wellness. Alice and I just oscillated our hearts. So we're ready to start this podcast. So once again, welcome to wisdom and wellness, where we explore beautiful integration of holistic, Western, and spiritual practices for complete health and wellness. Our mission here is to educate our community about the diverse pathways to healing, honoring both ancient wisdom and modern understanding. We believe that true wellness emerges when we bridge these worlds, creating a comprehensive approach that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit. So, with that being said, today we're exploring a revolutionary approach to self-care with Alice Brink. What's your new name?
SPEAKER_01It's still Alice Brink. Okay, okay. Alice Brink. It would have been Molin Camp.
unknownOh, okay.
SPEAKER_00Alice Brink. Yeah. So aside, I'm going to finish this introduction, my wisden and wellness peeps, but every person on the podcast, I have not been able to pronounce their last names. And so that seems to be a trend. I don't think it's a limiting belief. I think it's just something that the universe is saying we're having fun. So anyway, absolutely. Back to the topic at hand. Um, we'll be talking about the activation of your energy body as the ultimate form of self-care and learning how to become the driver of your own energy and therefore your own outcomes, your reality. So I would like to introduce my dear friend and sister from another Mr. Alice Brink. I'm delighted to introduce her. She is a powerhouse in the world of energy work and mindset transformation. Alice holds a Bachelor's of Science in Education and a what's the MCLC?
SPEAKER_01It's master, it's master certified leadership coach.
SPEAKER_00Okay, and is the founder of Energy Interplay Method. As a mindset, energy and mindfulness coach, speaker, healer, and author, Alice brings an incredibly rich background to this work, including experience as a corporate trainer, public school teacher, Reiki master teacher, wellness center owner, Wind Brick Healing.
SPEAKER_01Wind Brick Healing Arts Center, where it all began.
SPEAKER_00And over 30 years in real estate, Alice operates from a powerful belief system. You are hardwired to create life and work you love. She teaches practical energy and mindset rewiring tools that help you step into your genuine connection, greater success and satisfaction, less stress and more joy, who doesn't need joy in their life. Her approach is about learning to be in the driver's seat of your own energy. She is also the author of You Have the Power to Light the Field. I have that book, A Practical Guide to Awareness, Activation, and Implementation of Your Energy Body. It's available on Amazon. Alice, welcome to Wisdom and Wellness. Good to see you here. Yeah, what a great introduction. I'll try to live up. I probably should have made it a few pages longer, but you know.
SPEAKER_01It's wonderful. And first, I have to say, what a joy to be with you and reconnect. We have such a wonderful history. And I was thinking it's it goes back over 20 years.
SPEAKER_00It really says Chandra was little, now he's 27. Oh, maybe closer.
SPEAKER_01Maybe closer to 30. Yes. Because I opened Windbreak in 02. And you were probably um, so for the listeners or the watchers, um, when when we say Windbreak, we have a shared history because I owned a wellness center in Kansas City in the in the uh a suburb called Liberty, Missouri, and that's where Rachel and I connected. And you were teaching um continuing education for the Holistic Nurses Association, but I think we met before that.
SPEAKER_00Well, but yeah, the the true the story is I was just going looking down in the phone books. When we had phone books, I was going through the phone book looking for someone that would let me teach classes for them so I could learn how to do classes so that I could do continuing education because I wanted to do continuing education. So I was just finding people that would give me a chance. And now, all these years later, I have a continuing education.
SPEAKER_01I just got good bumps. I love it, I love it so much.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but I called you and said, Hey, you were like, What are you doing tonight? And I ended up coming over to your place that same day and ate dinner with your family, and the kids played, and you were having a fair or something at your place, like some kind of fair where people were, you know, there and you just welcomed me and just kind of showed me everything, and it's just been awesome.
SPEAKER_01And I just have to acknowledge too. I think we just have instant soul recognition too. Absolutely. We're here to help, and we are here to have a good time. We always have a great time. Oh no, more of that, please.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So I have questions for you. So let's let's roll. This subject, the the journey to energy work. So your background spans and education, corporate training, all of these things, real estate and wellness, even art. So can you take us back to the moment or or experience that first sparked your interest in healing energy and mindset work? Yes.
SPEAKER_01It's so uh this is a this is a wild ride, and I'll try to keep it short. But um, when I was very young, so I remember having an awareness that there was like an energy in my hands. And I thought I was I loved art when I was young. I still love art, but I thought I was gonna be a great artist. And I think I had just read uh the The Agony and the Ecstasy, the Michelangelo story, and I'm I'm like, I am gonna be a sculptor with these hands, I just know it. Well, it turns out I wasn't that good at that. But anyway, I still I loved art. But um what happened was when I was 16, I got the gift of lupus. I had lupus. I had the worst of the worst that you could get, and I had a three-year life expectancy at that point. So that was in the early days of doctors and nurses trying to figure out what lupus was, and you know, I was I was the anomaly in the hospital. Everybody came to look at me. So um it was um, I was at a point when I was 17, it was really looking like I was getting ready to exit. Uh everything was failing. I had lupus in in every bit of my interior and on my skin and everywhere, and I was uh medications weren't working, it did not look good. And so um I literally was on uh a hill outside my grandmother's house one day, and I was in this prayerful kind of what is going on phase. I think I'd been really protected with um being uh not attached to really fear about it until it got was really getting serious there. And uh my family was worried and everything, and that was building up, and I was on this, you know, my hilltop experience. It wasn't a mountain, it was a hilltop experience, and so um I was talking to God. I was talking to God, the angels, the universe, and everybody. And um, God showed me some things, and I got this real awareness. Number one, death is a healing. I was like, whoa, death is a healing, it's freedom from pain and suffering. Whoa, maybe death is just an option. And so there was this, there was some other things, and I talk about it in the book. There were some other awarenesses that were really key, um, things around fear and and illusion, basically. Um, and then all of a sudden I became aware that I was like, I had more to me than my physical body. I just became aware of my what I know now is my energy body. And I felt this like radiance is the only way to say it. I didn't see it at that point, but I felt it and I thought, oh, what is this? This is me, this is me. This is another more of me, this is a version of me. And so I think that that and some other helpful things helped me understand that I was more than my physical body and that I could choose to identify with this more energetic, alive me. And so that really set me on a path to heal. And I um had lots of ups and downs. I had a lot of scary moments. I had a lot of beautiful um nurses that were, I always say these angels that show up in my life, and um, you know, I had a nurse show up and volunteer to help me understand that it was okay to be angry. That was amazing. It was an amazing moment at KU Medical Center. I was there for a day of test, a whole day, and I was in the cafeteria, and this this lovely nurse came up and she put my hand her hand on my arm that was in bad shape. I had open wounds on my arm, you know, where the sun had touched and I had open sores. She put her hand on me. I'm getting teary now, telling you this story. I know I know you've you've been in the trenches as a nurse. Um, but what a gift. And she just put her hand on my arm and said, you know, it's okay to be angry. So I call moments like that divine appointments, but also accelerators in our healing and our learning and our understanding. So many, many accelerators that put me on this path that kept guiding me toward being a healer myself. And so literally, I was hit by a truck in 1997. So I had been through my journey with lupus. I was healed of lupus. I didn't have signs of lupus in my blood anymore. Um, I actually had kidney failure after that, after I had my daughter, 18 months after I had my daughter, I had stage five kidney failure and uh was slated to either have dialysis or transplant. And I literally had hands laid on me. I had went to a friend's church that I never went to before, and um they did an altar call, and I never was around anything like that before. And I felt myself transported and going down the aisle. I was like, what am I doing? And so uh didn't expect that, but they they did the laying on of hands with everybody that was up at the altar, and I learned from that experience there's healing, there was a turning toward healing, which is also a pivotal kind of accelerator in my learning about how to help people have hope to heal. You don't have to have the miracle, you know, hit on the knocked out healing. It can be a process and an orientation. So we turn our energy and our intention toward healing and have, you know, we I talk about this with with clients, and you know, when I get a chance to talk about this, um, that every cell in our body now can be turned toward healing, and it's just such a hopeful and empowering thing. And so before I had the words for energy interplay, that's what I was doing. It was how do we interact and how do we engage with this energy and get it going the way we want. So the gift of the truck is that I was hit by a truck, part of my therapy was massage. I went to this massage therapist and she had these pamphlets about Reiki on her desk. And I was like, What's that? And she said, Well, you want to feel it? And so I was hooked. Okay, I couldn't feel it, and I was like, Okay, I've got to learn this. This is my thing. I get this, I know what this has been around my in my wheelhouse, and now I have a name for it. So the Reiki was my gateway drug to energy, and so for oh my gosh, that was the mid-90s. So ever since I've just been learning different modalities, gone to different classes, just added to that toolbox. So it was a big, big nutshell.
SPEAKER_00What I said, that's all she wrote. It's just it's a wrap. So um, as far as the early modalities that you were talking about, Reiki massage, laying on of hands, what were the first healing or mindset modalities you actually studied versus experience that you actually studied?
SPEAKER_01Oh, so I went through um four levels of Reiki training. So I'm at the Karuna Reiki level four. Um, and I am always hesitant to say master because I always tell people if I was a master, I wouldn't be here. So we're not masters yet, but we're in school. Um, and then I found Donna Eden, Donna Eden Energy Medicine, and just took classes from Donna from one of her lovely um teachers, Kim Wedman in Kansas City. She's amazing. Um, had them at my center to teach classes. I didn't have Donna. Um, I went to classes at Unity Village, Unity downtown, Kansas City with her. But um, we just had an affinity. And uh, you know, when you're in this work, I always call it stirring the energetic pot. You start drawing people to you that are of like mind and in that field, that vibrational field. And so I met Toby Evans through through what? Wow, through my quest with the labyrinth. The labyrinth is another love of mine. Yeah, she's a wonderful, she's a Donna Eden um practitioner, she's a unity minister, and she's has a labyrinth, a labyrinth outside Belton, Missouri that is incredible, and it's cut into the prairie grass, native prairie grass. So you have this organic, natural experience walking the labyrinth in this ancient grain field. I mean, it's beyond. So yes, so um I yeah, anyway, let's see. Where do you want you to get back on track? What other modalities? So, what have I learned? So I was also led. Oh, there's uh yeah, so I was an early practitioner probably around 2012. I began my journey with connection practice, which is a coherence, a coherent state. Um as taught by Heart Math, um Heart Brain Coherence, and that combined with cognitive empathy, learned empathy, so that we can use it in conflict resolution, we can use it in, you know, I mean everything from playground bullying to peacekeeping with nations. So that was uh a program founded in Costa Rica by my dear friend Rita Marie Johnson. It was called B Peace back then.
SPEAKER_00Um and B Peace B Peace, and now it's called I stopped even asking you to break down a little bit of the coherence that you're talking about and everything.
SPEAKER_01It's so I know I wondered how we were gonna do that. Um so that the gift of learning connection practice, I'll call it connection practice because that's what they call it now. The gift of that for me was to find um heart brain coherence, and I use that in all of my work now. I teach all of my clients that practice. It's in my new, I'm just launching, opening the doors. I hate the word launch, but I'm opening the doors to my group coaching program on March 2nd, and everybody gets a baseline of knowing how to get coherent in a quick and efficient way. So hard brain coherence is allowing the wisdom of the heart, which is the deep. And I uh I cite this scientific study to know that it's a precognizant to the brain. The heart is reacting before the brain gets a message, so the heart is really driving our bus. And now science is catching up and showing that all of these neurons and everything, they're way more in the heart. And now they're even finding the you know, the same neurons that are identical to the brain, they're in the gut. So it's justifying all the things our gut feeling, our gut instincts, you know.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's funny you should talk about that. It's funny you should talk about that, you know. It's like the heart is the new brain, like orange is a new black and all of that kind of thing. And so, uh, yeah, because you think about you know, being heart-centered and things, you know, it's like people will like save people, like a mom will lift a car off her kids without even thinking. I cannot lift a car, the car is too heavy. You know, they're working from the heart. The heart is the first response, the connection, you know, compassion, gotta save that child, gotta swim to that person, that dog that's floating, you know, things like that. And you know, people don't stop to think, am I safe or not? They just act and they act from the heart. So thank you for that because I do believe that the heart is the new brain.
SPEAKER_01Yes, yes, and it's so it's so practical. So all of my work, I want it to be a practical tools-based um discipline, you know, it's it's learn a thing, apply a thing. So it's so practical to tap into your best thinking, your most calm um, you know, state, your um, you know, relaxed, coherent state. And so it's it's amazing. The results. I um do you want me to cite some examples? I have some. Oh, go ahead. Okay. Okay, so I'm gonna say, so the uh one of the biggest ones, and I'd love to cite this for folks that are in business. I do business coaching too, and I I used coherence to choose which commercial real estate company I would go to in 2017. I had done residential real estate forever. I've done all this wellness stuff, but I've always had this real estate in the background since 1992, and a lot of times it's saved my fiscal fanny because I could fall back on that and and generate income. So um we helpers need to eat too and pay the rents. So it's always practical, and you know, real estate helped me find Windbrick, and that never would have happened if I hadn't been showing that property. So, anyway, uh so where was I? I was deciding between five companies, I'd gotten it down to three, which root uh commercial real estate. I just knew I was pushed, I was I had a knowing that I was to make the leap into commercial real estate. And so I picked these three companies, I was gonna decide. I used heart brain coherence, used the process, got to the point in that process where you ask the question and you just let it be. You ask a question and then allow the question to come. It might come in three days, might come right away, just allow the question to be to hang. So I got to the point where I asked the question, but the I thought the question was going to be, which company should I pick? The question that now in this coherent state, the question that came to me was, what's the next best step for my soul's growth? I had no concept of that question before. And when that question came in, I was like, Oh, we're really playing now. Oh, okay. So I've committed whatever the answer was, I was gonna go straight line and do it. And I did. So I picked the company that I I got through that discernment and I quadrupled my income the first year.
SPEAKER_00Oh wow. Oh wow. That doesn't surprise me about you. Always surprised me. So are you are you complete with that answer? Are you ready for the next one?
SPEAKER_01If there's more to say I am, I want to share one more thing. I want to share about coherence and how a practical application for day-to-day. So my husband Ed and I, uh, when we got married, we didn't know we'd be marrying two disciplines. We got to talking and got excited about what the you know what the other did. And so now we teach uh two workshops called Energize Your Message, and we teach people how to use energy and presentation skills. And so when we do that, we teach coherence. And so the before and after of someone presenting their little practice presentation, then get coherent. We do some other energy things, I do some mindset rewiring, clearing exercises, but then we get coherent, you would not believe the difference. And we film them so they get to see it. But what's happening, and even as we do it more, we get more coherent in our presentations. And um their voices are lower, they're more clear, they talk about do. Deeper subjects. They link their topic, whatever it is, to a spiritual side, to a deeply connected side with their kids or whatever their topic is. It's amazing. And so just to see it really working, it's it's exciting.
SPEAKER_00Awesome. And we did an exercise, or I don't want to limit it to an exercise. We did a we did a something. What is it that we did where before we started? We did like an infinity in infinity eight or something like that between us to connect at length before we started.
SPEAKER_01We well, I call it the interplay. We did an interplay. We did an intentional connection now. And so I I developed this method, energy interplay, because I had some other awarenesses. But I'm gonna oh wait, it's coming up. You were gonna there's a question. Let me see. I know. Where is it?
SPEAKER_00Tell us about the energy interplay method. What is it? What makes it unique? How did you develop this approach? And what gap were you trying to fill in the energy work landscape? And I can repeat these questions when you get to each phase. If you forget something, we won't let you get away.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01Okay. So this is so this is really fun. I love, I love how spirit, God, the universe, everybody works. Uh, so I during COVID, I decided it was time to write a book about energy. It was time. I just needed to get it out. And so I um had had a girls' weekend actually up in Lyons, Colorado, and all the girls had left. Girls from Kansas City came out, actually. That was really fun. And I was sitting by the side of a river, and I was like, oh, the river analogy. I could put that in the book because I love flow and you know that's energy, energy flows. And then all of a sudden, I just got this aha, like, oh, the energy is not just flowing, the water, the energy is bouncing off of rocks. It's bounce the bank is dragging it a little bit. Every time a fish flips his little flipper, it he's changing that water, that energy. So it's not just the flow of energy, it's the interplay of the energy. And then, much like my awareness of death was a healing, it was like, oh, that's how this thing works. We emit energy, and then it connects in the energetic loop, and then it comes back to us. So what that is the interplay. So, how do we how do we direct that? How do we make that a good interplay? And that then the kind of the next awareness was it's attention, it's paying attention, focusing on what we want to manifest, what we want to connect with, um the outcome we want, the health state we want, the relationship we want, whatever it is, it's focusing our attention. So it's attention number one, and then intention, infusing that inner play with the intention we want. So we can get really creative with um before we started. I wanted to have calm and connection, and I feel so connected to you. So our hearts were like lit up, and it was like it was um, this is gonna be a good, fun interchange. We're gonna be chatty and we love what we're doing, so we're inspired, you know, all those things we can put into this intentional interplay, and we have created an energetic form with mass and substance, and we can feel it. We're creating a real thing, and so as I work with people, what the whole thing is awareness, activation, application, all the work I do. So, first we get the awareness, we start to feel the energy body, and then we are driving it all the time. We're just driving it with one hand on the wheel, and we might have been imbibing. No, we're just we're not conscious, we're just throwing this energy around, and energy is so important, and I it's it's so vital, I think, that we awaken to this awareness. It's so darn important that when it leaves, we have left the building. The energy body is what is our life force that's it that's keeping us upright. And so we I'm calling it the sick the eighth sense because it works with my my figure eight anyway, but it's also people were talking about the seventh sense as being uh emotional intelligence and then empathy intelligence, which is really near and dear to my heart, so that's cool. And I and this is energy intelligence, the eighth sense. So it's like smelling or seeing. If we just walked around with our eyes closed all the time, we would be just really missing a lot, and that's what we've been doing. We haven't been acknowledging, or we're a little kid, and we we say we feel something or we notice something, or you know, I don't like the feeling of that person that walked in the room. We're like, oh honey, be nice. We're totally negating that information that's coming into the field, and so you know, we ignore it, we damp it down, and so I think that's very key to the root of a lot of our problems and disconnection.
SPEAKER_00Can I ask you a question out on the script? Yes. So, how does energy interplay help someone stay in the present moment? Because when you talk about the quantum, that's all about being present to create things. So, how does that work?
SPEAKER_01Yes, it's the app the epitome of being present because we are alive now. We are in the field now, and when we focus our intention and our attention, we are absolutely present because it's a very conscious act. It's a different way to relate to this world, you know, it's just engaging, it's it's engaging as a whole person, our wholeness can bring can come forward, and that's why I call it the ultimate in self-care, because it's acknowledging all these parts that we've ignored. This huge, beautiful, beautiful, radiant field that we've ignored.
SPEAKER_00And what are those parts we've ignored? What are those parts we've ignored?
SPEAKER_01Oh, just our our first our that we have an energy body, that we are this radiant light body that's measurable with instruments. We are this light being walking around in this, you know. I hate the meat suit thing, but walking around in this. I love Jack Campfield calls it your soul bag, walking around in your soul bag, you know, that's all this body is. So we are we have that we are that, but then we can direct that. And so being in authorship of your own life is like it's just like, whoa, I'm so much more than I thought. I have so much more say so than I thought, and that can be this energy is directed mental, emotional, physical, spiritual. So we can go, oh, I'm gonna interplay with my liver today.
SPEAKER_00There's something light whenever you use the word play in it, you know, fun, play, light. So many souls out there that are um not in contact with that inner child, not in touch with that inner child. And when you say play, I'm sure that inner child is like, please pick me for a change, please pick me for a change, so I can play and heal and transform that part of me, you know. Um, yeah, it just sounds, it sounds it sounds amazing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. It's um, you know, yeah, it's a different way to, it's a it's a whole different realm of possibility, and which is in that same vibrational field as hope. And I believe hope is like powerhouse of we should all be trained in hope. Every medical person should be trained in hope. We we need to have a hope coach. Maybe I'll be the hope coach now.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but carry that frequency of hope so we can transmute, you know, our environment to be that safe space so people can calibrate to us.
SPEAKER_01Yes, yes, that's beautifully put. Yes, let's write that down.
SPEAKER_00You got fathomed note takers.
SPEAKER_01There you go. I'm getting it. That's really good. Um yeah, so one more I want to share. Um, so in a practical sense, in um January of 23, I did, I was working on the book and I'm like, put it in practice, you know. I'd already finished the book, finished the book in 22. So I guess that was it. But I kept re-editing. So anyway, um, okay, so I'd finished the book, so I thought I'm gonna put this in practice. So January of 23, I'm standing in my living room and I'm like, I'm gonna interplay in these four major areas of my life, where my next home is gonna be, uh, finances, my health, and relationship. And so let's just pick the relationship one. Okay, uh, because the others really showed up in like surprising ways, surprising ways. But the relationship one, I put a partnership energy out there. And I thought, I'm ready for a partner. I've been single for 10 years and I've dated and had a wonderful time, but I felt partner or I'm just gonna be alone. I'm gonna be on my own solo. And I felt good solo, but I just had this feeling that there could be a partner out there. So I just did the interplay, and these are the things I want in that partner. Oh, of course, I want love and romance and sex and all those good things, but I also and I and I also want a partnership energy, I want respect, I want someone who's active, I want somebody who still wants to work and contribute because I don't see myself ever stopping that. And so I put this energy in the field, and then I left it. So my little trick is I create these interplays and then I shrinky dig them down, and then we put them in our heart space, and they continue to work for us. So, and then anytime we want to refocus on that issue, we take it out. We can put, oh, I want play and fun, I want travel and abundance, I want to have financial freedom in this relationship. I want all those things. Okay, put it put it back in the heart space, it's oscillating, it's continuing to work for me. So I did that one month later, in February, the phone rings. The love rings and I see this name, Ed M long name, Ed, M long name. I think it's a completely different Ed. I don't remember that I'd had one lunch 10 years before with this Ed. So I am talking to this guy like he's my old coaching mentor back in Kansas City and just having a good old time. And there were there were touch points that matched up, and I but I did think he was an older gentleman. I thought, boy, his voice sounds good. So old guy. It was yes, exactly. So that whole conversation and into the next one, I did not know it was Ed Molenkamp, who is now my husband. And then we found out, you know, I said he said something, I went, hmm, is this the cool guy that I had lunch with like 10 years ago? So that's how it works. That's how it works. We stir the energetic pot, we put our intentions, we put our attention on something, we infuse it with the intention we want, we let the universe take care of it because that's the language of the universe, the feelings, the intentions. That's what allows the field to start to gather energy and it like attracts like, and we start creating a life that we'd like to wake up to. Instead of just wondering what the heck's gonna happen today, we start to get more intentional and more wonderful things show up, just be pleasantly surprised. Yeah, yes, please.
SPEAKER_00Like another question to be pleasantly surprised with sure. So you you kind of have already started answering the transformation phase of the questions. How have these energy practices transformed your life? And you shared a specific example of the outcome and things like that. So if I gave you a situation or a scenario, could you give me an example of how that situation could be transformed?
SPEAKER_01100%. Let's let's try, let's play.
SPEAKER_00Let's play. Let's play. There are so many nurses, caregivers out there who are striking now for safer conditions, staffing numbers, better pay, and things of that nature. And some of them are distraught. And I think that nurses are, you know, striking, they're striking, they're striking from in the 3D, you know, the 3D level. How could inner how could interplay help a nurse who's striking or a collective of nurses who are striking look at possibilities like and and are you filling me out? I I'm like not answering, I'm not asking the question like I want to ask it, but you just I think I get it.
SPEAKER_01And I I'm I think I get it, and I really appreciate this question. So I have such a heart for healers and people on the front lines. Um and well, there's so many things that could be helpful, but let's start with two practicing coherence so that we yourself were regulated, and we've opened ourselves up not only to um a conscious, subconscious mind, we've opened up to superconscious mind. We are getting information from our highest thinking, and so we can we can actually get ideas that we didn't know were there. We can also be in a state that's regulated, and we've down dialed all our stress responses, we're we're calming down our cortisol, we're getting our reactivity dialed down. I think you're the first first person that said to me, I'm working on responding, not reacting. I am sure that it was you, actually. You can be in more of a response mindset. Second thing is to manifest that vision of what you want. What does that I mean if you're holding a you're striking at a hospital, you can hold the hospital on the other end of this energetic loop and you're oh I apologize. Sorry about that. I thought I turned that off. So we can hold that hospital as our focal point on the far end of this energetic loop. You can see it up here in my logo. Okay, so picture your heart, the heart of you, on one end of that loop, one end of the loop, and then the hospital at the other. And now let's I like to it's almost like laying down the roadbed. I like to send out this ribbon of energy of love. I'm feeling love in this interplay loop, and I'm filling that relationship. And um, you can open your eyes for a second, Rachel, because I want to show you. This is what I do. I physically do it because I can feel the form forming.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, like why'd you wake me up?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you can totally do eyes closed, but I wanted to show you that you certainly can engage a physical manifestation of it. You can do it without this, too. But just so you know, so now let's talk about how we want this. Oh, we want we want to put cooperation into the field. We see this between the nurses and the staff and the hospital. And what else do we need? What other aspects, of course, courage. We're doing healing, we're putting co courage and self-care, and let's put some good respect into this field. Self-love. Self-love let's put mutuality that people are respected and listened to. Let's put an energy let's put the energy of a project. Turning this whole thing into a project. A team is working on it. Team energy. I'm getting like shared values, shared values to reinforce you know, kind of why we're all here. Why are we even doing this? Do you have a specific hospital in mind?
SPEAKER_00All of the no specific hospital. I think this is good. I'm standing in a proxy for all the nurses.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Alright, peaceful outcome. Let's do fresh ideas. Let's put full the energy of fresh ideas. And you know what? I got fun. And it's so surprising, but let's get fun and just picture fun like dancing along this pattern. Just the energy of fun.
SPEAKER_00All right. Anything restoration.
SPEAKER_01Pardon?
SPEAKER_00How about some rejuvenation and restoration?
SPEAKER_01Right. Refreshed energy, rejuvenation.
unknownThat's a great lot.
SPEAKER_01And sometimes I picture a color with that thing. Um, I picture beautiful, dynamic, golden threads of everything that we're putting in here. All right. Okay, that's a lot. So that's good. So we feel this. If you you can kind of feel this form, I can feel this form still running the energy across my hands. It is still oscillating. Mm-hmm. So I gotta let it run back over my heart. Oh, yeah, yeah. So let's shrinky dink it down and let's set the intention. We've done some real energetic work here today, and we're so grateful that this energy is doing its work. And we're gonna keep it safe, safe within our heart. Space, and we can go back anytime we just turn our attention to it again, it rejuvenates that, and we can refocus, we can take it back out, we can put some more stuff in there. Equitable pay, abundance for all, good ideas of how to do that, do all of the above. Yes, respect, yes, respect, respect. I was getting so much respect. So, so that's how we apply it, you know, real world. Yeah, and it feels like it did something, doesn't it?
SPEAKER_00Absolutely, absolutely. I hope that I hope that the nurses and caregivers out there, and just people in general, the souls out there that watch this actually go through that, you know, technique the inner energy play technique that you just because that was absolutely beautiful. Yeah, you can really feel the energy. Energy is so real, you know. We're energy.
SPEAKER_01Yes, yeah, yes, yes, such a big energy. Well, you know, you're reminding me of the Maharishi effect where they have just you know one meditator on the block and it's documented, the crime rate goes down. You know, it we are in the field, we're sharing the field. That's why when we get down to it, why the heck is anybody having a war? You are sharing the same stuff. We're all sharing this, yeah. Yeah, so yeah, that's a whole other conversation. We'll do that on our peace conversation.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, together we stand, united we fall, just like kids, two sizes small. I'm sure that doesn't have much to do with anything, but let's ask another question. You're always good at that. Oh my god. So um, what does it mean to drive your energy? Is it something you do or something you let happen? What does it mean?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's really like what we just did. It was to be conscious about the energy that we're directing and really conscious about the outcomes. You know, I I people always say they want to attract more abundance. Well, okay, what is what is that? You just want coins dropped off on your doorstep, or do you want what is all what's around that? It's peace and you know, security and choices and all kinds of things that you can look at. I can't even not talk now without. Well, I'm Italian, so it's a good, you know, it makes sense.
SPEAKER_00I'd be doing this.
SPEAKER_01So um, anyway, you um can focus in driving on the road. We have to keep our eyes on the road and we have to be directive, you know, we have to decide if we're gonna get off on that. Ramp, or if we're gonna crash through that barrier, or what we're gonna do. So the whole book is full of like car analogies because I love cars and it's so helpful, you know, with roadblocks and all kinds of analogies we can use. But driving the energy is just taking ownership and authorship of what is rightfully ours. So the there are principles to energy interplay, and one of them is everyone well, everybody has access to the energy, it's practical and easy to paraphrase, practical and easy to use, but it's also our right and our responsibility to have to use this energy. It's it's an inborn and we wouldn't have it. It's just like, do we even consider that we have a right to see or a right to hear? You know, it's it's that's what I my mission is to get it so into the lexicon and into the understanding that, well, of course, we're working with our energy, and it's energy's rising. I've been doing this for 30 years, and now everybody's talking about energy, everybody's teaching in energy. You know, there's so many. It's just it's it's here because it's it's time and we need it, we're evolving, and now we're it's meeting our awareness, is meeting absolutely need to evolve, yeah.
SPEAKER_00And things that people used to consider woo-woo back in the day with the first pioneers of energy work. Now quantum physics and things are just like, yeah, that's right. It's a simple way to say it, but yeah, they're correct. It it you can it's like what's spiritual is scientific, and what's scientific is spiritual, and there's really I don't know, it's just all connected.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's very hopeful. There's a real energy around hope around that. Definitely, yeah. We need proof.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, definitely. You were the first one that uh shared Dr. Imoto's water. Yes, yeah, that was the first time I really realized you mean that water can be affected by energy, you know. It's like we've got water in our body that can be affected. You gave me my first deck of cards, the water, the uh Dr. Emoto. Is it Amoto? Yeah, Dr. Omoto. Uh-huh. Either Reiki master teacher, but oh yeah, Emoto. What's his last name? Or is his last name Dr. Yamoto?
SPEAKER_01I think it's Omoto is his last name. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Okay, we'll leave it at that.
SPEAKER_01Well, no, we can't because I have a recent experiment I have to share with you now. Okay, too. Really, last week I had a friend over and she is a water expert. She works for the, I think she works for the state, it may be national, not sure, but she knows about water, like big treatment systems and water purification and levels of things in water and all that. And I I just said, Liz is her name. So I said, Liz, let's do an experiment. Um, so I got I had a heart ornament, and I will send you these pictures so you can post it with this.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_01Because this stuff's real. So I had this beautiful heart glass ornament. And I said, Liz, show, and I made a I got a little juice, like four-ounce juice glass, put put my filtered water in it. And I said, Liz, just show the ornament to the water. And she's like, Show the water, show the ornament to the water. I said, Well, just hold it up against the glass. Okay. So she does that for a good minute, you know. So I'm like, okay. So I stick it in the freezer. So before she left, it hadn't frozen completely, but it was just starting to freeze on the top. The ornament has solid parts and then kind of frosty parts. The top of that glass was freezing in this like striped pattern.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01But that went away. I go back in when it's completely frozen. I take the glass out. There is a perfect heart in the top of that water. Oh, wow. I kid you not. So I mean, it was just so much fun. This is fun. We're we're all curious. We like wonder. We like to explore. We're all scientists. And so it's just so I'll send you the pictures. It's just a good program.
SPEAKER_00I'll sit here. Why am I talking about Dr.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's because this is how we are. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And then it was awful.
SPEAKER_01When it was cool and what's even better, I thought, okay, I'm a scientist. I'm going to do a control. So I get another glass. I'm like, don't think about the glass. Just put it in there. You know, just put it in there. So I put it in there, and I'll be done. I go, well, it was next to broccoli. Huh. So it was next to broccoli. So actually the top, when it froze, kind of look, it looks like the top of a broccoli florette. When I looked at the side, I'm like, this is weird. This is nothing like the first heart thing. It looked exactly like a fish, like the bottom half of a fish, perfect tail. I'll send you those pictures too. And the fins coming out. The fins were delicate and beautiful, but definitely different in the water. The water's clear, and here are these like, oh, iridescent, kind of glass-like fins. And I'm like, what the heck? There was fish, like one thing over. There was broccoli and then fish. Someone just I'm like, okay. Not a whole fish either. Filet. So, you know, what are we dealing with here? I don't know. All of it, but I know some of it. That is awesome.
SPEAKER_00That is wild. I can't wait to see the pictures. I'm sure our audience is like, okay, show me the fish. Show me the fish. Show me the fish. Yeah, that's fascinating.
SPEAKER_01I wish I could have gotten better pictures of the fin part, but you're gonna have to use your imagination. But the heart is undeniable.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I'll I'll wait for the pictures, most definitely. So um energy body as the ultimate self-care. Can you describe activation of the energy body as it applies to self-care?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, kind of what we referenced before is that we've denied it for so long. And it's it's um it has to do with um being super connected in our interior, and that gives us the home base from which to be connected in the exterior. And I think this thing, well, we know this, this thing is hurting us, it is separating us, it is giving us a false sense of communication and connection, it is stealing our attention. We just have a tiny exercise on how powerful our attention is, and that thing and the process of that, and plus all this rapid fire, you know, look at a video, boom, here comes the next one, here comes the next one. It is orchestrated. Those people use, you know, psychological data to get us hooked on all of this, and we have got to take our power back. We're just we're frittering away. It's like let's like if we did have a huge bag of gold coins and we're just throwing it here, we're throwing it there, we're throwing it there, we're allowing someone to tell us where to throw it. And when we get back into the driver's seat, then we're acting from the self, our true self, our true nature. And we get to see, wait a minute, this is so much more real, so much more fun for us to talk about frozen water than to scroll, you know. It's so much more fun for us to like work on behalf of nurses that are on strike. We're engaged in real life in a very present sense. We're engaged, and so it's oh gosh, it's so important, so important. And then another thing with self-care um it's in this realm of conversation. So I developed a a a new, well, new to me, way to get to coherence very quickly, and it's the ultimate simply saying thank you to your own heart and building up this field of appreciation for your own heart. It doesn't get much more intimate than that, and the feeling of that is it's you know, I've people I've seen people just streaming down tears and just really acknowledging for the first time ever, you know, there's this powerful thing that's working on your behalf from before the time you were born, is with you every second, is beating away, keeping you alive, and it's just uh it gets very emotional. It's like, and then you know, anyway, we can, you know, I use that exercise to thank other body parts and everything, but when we do the heart, it's a very quick way to get to that coherence that we were talking about earlier.
SPEAKER_00That's beautiful. You'll have to check out a podcast I did with the caregivers friend because we started the exercise out for Valentine's Day for caregivers. Is it was called the Art of the Heart. So the exercise was basically about filling the heart, feeling the heartbeat, and thanking the heart for the job that it's been doing for us. Oh, it's just all of this is Valentine's. Yes. The month of February of love is timely.
SPEAKER_01I love it. Well, and what I always love, and this is this sparks my hope meter, is that the truth is a truth, is a truth, is a truth. Yeah, you know, it's gonna show up in different ways, it's gonna get through to someone's noggin in a different way. So we have to just keep putting it out there, you know. Something is gonna stick and resonate, you know, with different people. And so, yeah, yeah, uh, that sounds very cool. I want to watch that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and you know, it's like I'm glad you said what you said because it's like, you know, you could talk about energy, and someone might say, I don't believe in that, but then you could say Holy Spirit, which is energy, and they'd be like, Okay, I understand that, I get that, but sometimes we're we kind of judge different things because it sounds different, and a lot of times it's just the same to me, you know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, different things about that. I have a lot to say about that, actually. So when I do my hello energy class, I talk about this is prana chi. When I had my hilltop experience, I definitely uh understood the language of the Holy Spirit being involved. I mean, I understood that was a uh uh it also gave me this understanding, I guess, that it really was a separate thing. There it was an entity of in and of itself with the the you know, father, son, holy spirit. So um now I have a lot more expanded beliefs around that, the divine feminine, you know, a lot of things that could complete that triangle. So um, at any rate, that was my understanding then. But it's expanded, it's qi, it's qi in re ki is the energy, it's prana, all those things, and god bless them all. I mean, that is that is this spiritual part of our nature, the energetic part of our nature, trying to get it through to our noggin, however, it can get in there, so that we can use it, really. It's not just academic. So that's my whole thing about being practical, practical tools. So learn a thing, practice it. And that's why I got really called to just make 26 the year of expansion and expand what I want to teach. And so, but how do you do that in a too busy, stressed world? Baby bites. So learn one little tool, practice the tool, integrate it, learn another thing, do some clearing. So um, in the the whole scope of the group coaching program is a cyclical learning that starts with learning, then connecting, then clearing, and healing. So in learning, we learn an energy energy tool. In connecting, we learn how to interplay with others, with actually self-talk, so within ourselves and with others. So either conversation, presentation, it's the active energy connecting with humans. So that's the connection, and then the clearing is I use the map method, it's another method I've learned that is the most elegant coaching method for getting rid of limited beliefs and trauma for good. And it's you know, it's painless, it's elegant, it just works, and so it's psychology and energy combined, and um, I can do that very effectively in a group setting because we're sharing this field, and it's it's very fun, very fun. Wow, and then the healing is is really transmitting healing energy, which we you and I have been sharing energy in this call, so there's no space and time limitation with energy. Absolutely by share energy, but then tools back to tools, so then practice the energy, practice healing energy on yourself, on others, on your plants, your spouse, you know, whatever. Um, so it's just ginning that up, and then each month it cycles around different topics for the month, but always the um a tool connecting, clearing, and energy, healing.
SPEAKER_00So I you said something, and I wonder if this should be another podcast, but I'm gonna say it, say it anyway. So, as far as like, you know, no space and time and things like that, um, how would you apply this to people healing generational persons or ancestral baggage that goes from one generation to the other? How could you like, since there's no time and space, just help your family that could be helped?
SPEAKER_01Absolutely. What a beautiful topic. I need to integrate that into the the process. Um, I do have I have a technique with the map method, that my coaching method, um, to address generational things and it shows up beautifully in a session. It just starts to make sense when when the protocol I use calls for that, um, then we map it out and we put out the generations, and then all of a sudden something relates that heals the now. So it's very, very profound. Plus, we are not limited by the present moment. So we can re-energize our relationship to the past. There's a forgiveness energy in that, there's a releasing energy in that, there's a uh letting go of regret and and that all kinds of things in that in our, you know, as far as our conscious life, but we can just like we stood on the behalf of all those nurses that are striking, we can stand in for people, and we could we can have the intention, we can put our attention on that issue, we can put the intention for healing, and we you know, there's this human experience has not been a you know jolly ride every second. So there's a lot in everybody's history, and and what is also beautiful about the whole thing, we don't always have to know it. We can set intention like anything, any and all that it's you know, time for it to be released and healed permanently. Well, let me add it, you know, why not?
SPEAKER_00Let's go meet surfing and heal ourselves.
SPEAKER_01So we can also send it the other way toward the future.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01So we can definitely energize future events. I love to energize the space before I go speak. I love to energize before a conversation, or if I know, like, yeah, this group, I'm going into maybe a new networking group or something. I, you know, I just don't feel 100% at ease. I can I can set the energetic field up. And so I walk into a friendly field and I'm just kind of looking around for like who's connecting now? I'm free of worrying about who's looking at me or who, you know, what do they think of me? I'm more like out here. Um one of the most healing things is to get off of yourself. That's what I say. Get off of yourself, you know, get the attention out.
unknownYeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, sometimes it's a good, you know, self-healing's important. We gotta look inward, but then sometimes it's enough of that. And that's uh yeah.
SPEAKER_00So so I am super, super surprised that the time went by as fast as it did. I was sure to like stop time, be present in the moment so it could just freeze there for a while. What would you like to tell the audience? Uh, what would you like to leave with the audience? Just whatever comes from your heart. What would you like to leave us with today? Oh. And tell us about your coaching practice that's launching March 2nd, too, as well.
SPEAKER_01Okay. I think it's that you are an amazing radiant light body, and you are meant to be here right now in this time because we're here. That's the proof. We're here and we are fully equipped to do those things that we want to do or we think should be done. It's us. We get to do that, and so let's let's engage all of our senses and let's show up as a whole person and start to change this whole field. It's the beautiful thing is a lot of people have been doing a lot of positive work and it's happening. So you're not alone, you're gonna join this mighty force of people that really do love each other and love humanity and love the earth, and we are gonna win. We are gonna win. Absolutely, absolutely, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so that's a beautiful thought, especially with today, the appearance of division and things like that, and people, you know, it's just I feel like the light is always gonna win, always.
SPEAKER_01Yes, yeah, and you know it's interesting. We can also use the news. I'm I have Washington, DC up in my field daily now. So it's it's a it's focusing on the whole situation and putting in light, love, energy, feeling, authenticity, and ethics, and all the things that we would hope that we're leading our country and affecting everyone. That's what I keep holding, holding, holding. And you know, it's setting the great magnet in motion, and the more of us that do that, things are gonna shift.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely, absolutely. I feel like just by you being here today, it's shifting now. I want to thank my audience for tuning in. I want to thank you for being here. I feel like you probably have some kind of closing that you want to do with us based around your practices. So let's close out with two.
SPEAKER_01Thank you. I would like to invite everyone that's that this is kind of tugging on a little, a little spiritual um rope for you, that you check out doing the um I have called it energy intelligence for life and leadership. And the leadership might be that you're leading your own life, or you're leading your children, or you're leading your workplace. It doesn't mean that you have to be the CEO of anything, you are the CEO of your life, and so it's life and leadership, and I use all everything I know. It's a platform to put all of these things in in little tiny bites so that we can really assimilate and metabolize them and and move forward together. Yeah. So let's see. So you would like a we could do a little practice. So why why don't we do the heart coherence? We'll do the the shorty one. Yeah, let's use it as a good home base establisher and reminder about that. All right, all right, I'm gonna invite you to just close your eyes now. And if it helps you to focus in on your heart space, place one or both hands on your heart. Feel comfortable and just for a moment be here now. Breathing gently in through the nose, releasing out from the mouth. Acknowledging our heart, maybe for one of the first times in our life. Hello, heart. Oh my heart, I'm filled with awe when I pay attention to you. I'm so very grateful for your unending service to me. Without ever being asked. I appreciate your companionship my entire life. T We are so deeply, deeply connected. T And you are the one that's been serving me. T beating away causing nutrients and oxygen to travel throughout my entire body. Keeping me energized and nourished. How can I thank you enough? Thank you, thank you, thank you, my heart. I love you. I appreciate you. I'm so filled with appreciation for you. I can feel it filling my whole body now as that field of appreciation expands within me. Let's rest in this field of appreciation for a few more breaths. Any time we like simply by turning our attention to our own dear heart. Yes, so appropriate. I know it's so cool. Wow, awesome, awesome, awesome. So much fun, Rachel. Yes, yes.
SPEAKER_00Thank you so much.
SPEAKER_01You're so welcome. I'm gonna send you a link for people to sign up for the class. I don't know if I should do it for I'll probably just do it for the website because I don't have the course visible. I'm giving people a link if they want to show up sign up early, but I don't have it visible on my website yet because of course I have to learn new technology, make sure all the stuff's in there.
SPEAKER_00So absolutely. So my team, regulated roots and JB will reach out to you like before this podcast airs to our audience, and we'll update everything. So however you want it, it's gonna be shared the way that you want it. And then as you have, you know, details, you can email me and we'll get it updated for our people.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that was so fun, Rachel. It was all right, but let's just stay connected. Absolutely. I really feel like we have I've always felt like we had work to do, and I'm just so glad this is a vehicle to get us connected again.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely, yeah. And I'm just thinking continuing education units for nurses to learn how to do your energy.
SPEAKER_01Oh, absolutely, absolutely, and I'll travel. Yeah, yeah. And you can travel to the can I think I think I'm coming to Kansas City to help facilitate a labyrinth event at Unity Village. Okay. We talked about the labyrinth, that's a whole other thing, but it's a big thing with me.
SPEAKER_00So see my wisdom about this, Pete. You know, I'll let you know when she comes to Kansas, so we can all and rush her at the airport like PowerPoint. Oh my gosh. Anyway, much love to you, my sister from I love that. That is so true.
SPEAKER_01All right, my friend. Love you. Bye. Bye.
